Iphone 6 screen display and brightness problem

hello everybody, I'm an iPhone user and I'm currently using iPhone 6 for couple of months. lastly from 1 week ago I'm having problem in my screen display. i always set my brightness to auto and whenever i use my phone in sunny light which means brightness goes to almost 95% level after using it for a while my display goes suddenly dim and i check brightness level it still is at almost 95% level and when i screw to low level it responds normally but when increasing brightness level it still remains dim then i go inside my room and wait few minutes then again brightness respond normally which means when i increase brightness level it gives bright clear display again.. plz give me any suggestion why is this happening...thanks

First, reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose any data by resetting, but it can cure some glitches.
If this does not work, and to make sure that this is not software related, set it back to factory settings, without using any backup data afterwards. Set up the rest of the personal settings manually and test the phone.
If the phone works as expected, restore from the latest backup. If the problem comes back, the backup data contained corrupt data, causing your issues.
If it still does not work, this could be a hardware issue and the phone has to be serviced by Apple or an Authorized Apple Service Provider:

Screen display and resolution problem

Hello, i have lenovo thinkpad T61 its actual screen is potrait. I installed fresh copy of windows 7 32 bit. All was fine,Display was set according to standard vga driver. But when i installed driver for nivida quadro nvs 140 m display changed from potrait
to landscape. when ever i try to select potrait option and click apply it does changes to potrait but it is rotated to 90 dgrees i dnt know the angle . (i do know about ctrl+alt+arrw keys but they don't work). i also tried changing display from bios
but still nothing. all i get is dual display on the same laptop screen in landscaped mode.i have tried installing windows its get better again but after installing the nivida driver it happens again. let me know if you have a solutions

Display and camera problems... related?

Dear Folks of Apple Support Communities.
Recently i have started to experience a rather disturbing issues with my screen, and that made me remember of the problems with the camera.
I have MBP retina early 2013 and. well, it is known fact that screens on this particular model are not exactly brilliant... The same could be said about the camera, which has simply tuns of blue noise! But the screen was acting pretty Ok for some time now, there always was a minor image retention, but as i had nowhere to fix this, i had to live with it. But recently the screen started to turn GREEN! Yes that emerald shade, almost like cartoon green!!! That happened to it once before, but was not so intense, well at least i was able to see something... But the other day i was completely blown away, when i turned on my mac and i sew bright-bright green screen with absolutely no picture... Why does this happen to a £2000 product i have no clue! Now it has an uneven colour (the bottom corners are blueish, and the sides are somewhat darker).
Is there some way to resolve it? Or should i ask for the screen replacement (and the camera with it as well)?
I will be in Glasgow starting from september, so i will have an Apple store near by... i just don't want this to happen anymore, it is really scary.

Solved! Tried everything in the support documents and none of it worked. Massive frustration with Adobe Chat staff who know nothing and just kept telling me to look at the support documents over and over. They also gave me a contact number in Australia that has a recorde d message saying the product is not supported! What is that about?
Finally Anand from Adobe tech support called me (from when I reopened the original support case that gave me the serial number).
Just had to rename folder SLCache in c:\program files(x86) and reaccept the EULA and reactive. Now everything works fine. Way to hard.

I replaced my iPhone screen myself and now my phone is over heating. i have no idea if its under warranty and if so will apple do anything even though i took it apart?

So my iPhone screen cracked and i ordered a new screen to replace it. Finally when i finished i went to turn it on and the screen just stayed blank. I plugged it in and the apple symbol came up but then went off, and kept doing this. so i let it set for about an hour and tried again. it gave the charging symbol and just stayed on this for about half an hour. i unplugged it and when i did it just went off. after a while it did come back on but it began to overheat and the battery lasts about 45 minutes. i took the back off and its the logic board that is hot and not the battery. can this be fixed? i dont know if its under warranty but if it is will they replace it after the fact that i took it apart?

How do I remove the on-screen volume and brightness displays?

The on screen displays for volume and brightness controls on my ProBook 455 really lag behind pressing the buttons and aren't terribly helpful anyway. Can I remove them? I've seen people ask in the past and they are told about something called an "HP On Screen Display" or a "MediaSmart Menu." But my notebook doesn't have either. Does someone know another name for the thing I need to remove in order to get rid of this useless display?

ThinkPad Hotkey Features Integration 3.89.0000 On Screen Display and Mute Button Fail

I am installing updates on a T400 system running WIndows 7 Pro 64-bit.
The system has been freshly factory restored and all features work properly...
After running System Restore to update to the latest drivers and recommended software, I find Thinkpad Hotkey Features Integration 3.89.0000 breaks features.
I am able to use Hotkeys to change brightness up/down, Fn+F5, Fn+F6, etc. The volume up and down keys work to change volume. The mute button does not work at all! There is no On Screen Display to show the adjustment settings for any Hotkeys.
I have found that installing the older 3.88.0000 (8jvu40ww.exe) version of ThinkPad Hotkey Features Integration works successfully with mute button functionality as well as the On Screen Display features.
Comparing what is different between the 3.89.0000 and 3.88.0000 versions, I find On Screen Display version and Full Screen Magnifier have advanced. The version information table at the bottom of the software download page is inconsistent compared to what is actually reported from the 3.88.0000 setup.exe:

The System Interface Driver is 1.05 on all the recent versions.
With the 3.89.0000 version installed, I cannot uninstall and go back to the older version to get it working. Instead, I have to do a System Restore to a point previous to the newest install... something changes in the new version but I am not yet sure what.
I have no warranty on this system. Lenovo technical support is unwilling to entertain a conversation about solving this issue with their software unless I purchase a support package. Perhaps someone from Lenovo reads this forum and/or one of the community members has a contact or option so that I may report the issue to those who are responsible for resolving Lenovo software issues. I am hopeful they can solve it in their next release so that I do not have to hide the current version from System Update.
If anyone has ideas on what causes the latest On Screen Display or Full Screen Magnifier to disable the mute button and prevent On Screen Display from working... I would love to try and solve that problem. Additionally, if you have ideas on what prevents uninstalling and going back to an older version, that would also be helpful as I would not like to rely on System Restore.
If there is no solution other than to avoid 3.89.0000 it is what I will do and this message will help others so they do not spend hours to confirm the issue is with the 3.89.0000 version rather than suspecting hardware issues.

Thank goodness Lenovo offers previous versions in a table at the bottom of the pages so we can try older versions and go back to what works. It is a shame they do not advertise a link or other option to report bugs and issues with Lenovo software/drivers directly.

This is the roulette you play with updating functions that are already working properly.
If it's not broken, don't fix it. Do the release notes describe a fix or enhancement that you want? No? Then leave it alone. Hiding updates in Lenovo Update is the easiest solution. For RChesley, in this case.
Bob, I realize that you want the function that the update is supposed to deliver, but the update has failed you. It's like installing version 1.0.0 of software sometimes, with Lenovo Update. You're never quite sure what you're going to get. There's tons of posts here that read as though the users are beta testers--installing updates and finding the bugs! So the developers can go back to the code and try again.
I've learned to never be an early adopter here.

Beats Audio Software and On Screen Volume and Brightness Icons Not Showing

I have a HP Envy 6 Ultrabook 6-1010ea, It had to have a new hard drive due to hardware failure and now I have it back I can't find the beats audio symbol and the associated software, also the on screen displays of the volume control and broightness icons don't appear anymore, when I download certain drivers to solve the issues each one doesn't see, to work with the other, I can get sound back on the internet OR the icons back.

Newbie PDF screen display/print colour problem

First let me say I've been searching through the forums for an answer for my problem and drawn a blank, mostly I suspect because I'm not exactly sure what the problem is. Also I understand the basics of colour profiles but a large proportion of it goes over my head.
The problem:
Our key "corporate" colour is C0 M100 Y75 K25 - I can get reliable and pretty consistent print colour that I am happy with, across a range of devices from documents I produce in Indesign
For screen output e.g. our website, taking an average of several different devices and monitors (none with any kind of calibration i.e. an average user) this equates to approx R130 G11 B34
I am producing a number of PDF 'factsheets' that will be downloadable from the website and I anticipate that some people will just view these 'on screen' and some will print out for reference.
The problem is C0 M100 Y75 K25 and R130 G11 B34 look radically different when viewed on screen or printed - I almost need a PDF 'screen' profile and print profile within the same document. I know I can get a match on my screen if I calibrate it, but I need it to look more or less correct for anybody who views the PDF.
I hope I've explained this clearly enough and any help or direction anyone can give would be really appreciated!

Ahhhh...I see what you are saying now Rob. Unfortunately the docs don't soft proof correctly on my display either - take on board that my display is not calibrated and also I would think 99.9% of the target audience for the PDF won't have a calibrated display either - so I am after a solution that falls to the lowest common denominator.
However, if my understanding of what you are saying is correct, if I had a profile that I could use on my uncalibrated monitor that soft-proofs correctly (more or less - I'm not going for absolute accuracy, just somewhere in the right ballpark), then using the PDF/X4 preset with that profile set would mean others opening the PDF on similarly uncalibrated monitors would also see the more or less correct colours?
Would that profile not throw the colours out on the print if that end user then decided to print it out?
Again, apologies for the simple nature of the questions, but I've only been using InDesign for about 8 months and so far I've lived with the colours appearing wrong on screen as I've known they come out how I expect at print time. This is the first thing I've done where I would like it to look more-or-less correct on screen as well as in print.

IOS 7.02 iPhone 5 clock and Calendar Problems

The date displayed in the Calendar is always one day ahead of its day shown in the iPhone settings date. Also the clock for the various cities around the World are being incorrectly reflected. Seoul, Korea is shown 2.5 hours earlier than Shanghai time and Seoul is East of Shanghai and I believe it is only 1 hour ahead not 2.5 earlier as shown in iPhone. Never had these problems before update to iOS 7.02. The World Clock and calendar cannot be trusted any more and I hope Apple will correct soon!!!!

If you've already reviewed the settings for Date & Time, what seems pertinent to you is the following:
If the incorrect date, time, or time zone is being set up automatically on the device, please notify your cellular provider. In the meantime, tap General > Date & Time and turn off Set Automatically. Then set the appropriate time and time zone manually.
Note: The option to set automatically might not be available on all carriers in all countries.

On screen display and FN+ buttons don't work after format

I formatted my entire HDD and re-installed windows 7 pro. After doing the format and re-install the on screen display doesn't show up when I adjust volume or enable/disable caps lock like it did previously before I re-installed. I've installed the hotkey driver, on screen display, display interface driver, ran the Lenovo update utility several times, installed all windows updates. Is there somewhere where I have to enable OSD (on screen display)? I am sure this is just something small that I am overlooking but if anyone has any help please let me know! sorry if this has been posted already, I tried searching before making a post but didn't have any luck.

A couple other things to check:
1. look in task manager, is TPONSCR.exe and TPOSDSVC.exe running?
2. look in Services control panel, is "On Screen Display" service installed and started?

My MacBook Pro is apparently powered on, but no screen display and cannot power off. Cap lock works so keyboard is working but trackpad not responding.
