Iphone 6 shows connect to Itunes
i have the newest version of the iPhone 6 and i tried to restore it because it was running slow and i thought it was done restoring but when i took it off of the USB it shows the connect to iTunes screen and it has been locked on this screen for the last 9 hours what can i due to solved this problem

Put the iPhone into DFU mode. Open iTunes on computer you usually sync with and connect the phone. Hold both home and power buttons for exactly 10 seconds, release power button, keep holding home button until iTunes recognizes an iPhone in Recovery Mode. Then just recover from the last backup.

Error 28 is normally a hardware failure. You will not be able to restore your phone if in fact it has suffered a hardware failure. To confirm, if in fact, this is the case, try restoring on a different computer than the one you normally use. Make sure that your internet connection is good & that ALL anti-virus & firewalls are turned off. Also make sure your computer has all available updates to its OS & the latest version of itunes is installed. If you get the same error, this would tend to confirm a hardware failure. You can also make an appointment at an Apple store. The geniuses will be able to tell you definitely if in fact you have a hardware failure.

i am confused in last line you wrote,

i did not understand last sentence - if i have one? you mean to say if i have data or not in my iphone?
i have many pictures, messages, contacts which are very much important.
so will it be all restore and will be backup again in my iphone if i restore?

Try doing a hard reset on the phone;
1. Hold Home and Sleep/Wake buttons at the same time;
2. Wait for the Apple logo to appear (ignore the slide to Power Off option)
3. Let go of the buttons when you see Apple on the screen
4. Allow iPhone to reboot;
If you are still unable to get the phone to power on, charge, or connect to iTunes; it could possibly require service. (hardware replacement) -

You will have to reset the phone via iTunes. Open up iTunes on PC, then connect one end of the cable to the PC. On your phone, press the home button and at the same time put in the other end if the cable.
It will load factory settings. -

after attempting to update to latest software, my iphone 4 is stuck showing "connect to itunes" picture screen. My computer will not recognize device. I have tried restarting/restoring/hard reset/reinstalling itunes and every other suggestion listed on apple troubleshooting website. thoughts?

ThanksYes, the reason you are getting the error is the phone cannot provide internet for the laptop and then update itself. It would lose connection as you erase the firmware and try to update. You need to connect the computer to the Internet in some other fashion before you connect the phone to try and fix the update problem. As Ocean20 says, and I completely agree, how would you think you could use the Internet connection of a device that is not only going to turn off and on, but is going to get completely wiped of firmware and restored? It would completely remove the device from the equation here. Does that make sense to you?

Click OK and see if the issue is resolved.
Adjust Parental Controls in iTunes:
Open iTunes.
Access iTunes preferences:
On a Mac: From the iTunes menu, choose Preferences.

Click the Parental Controls tab.
Remove restrictions on Parental Controls.

I cant open my iphone, its showing that ( iphone is dsabled, connect to itunes) when i connect to itunes its showing message on computer screen that ( itunes could not connect to the iphone, because it is loked with passcode. you must enter your passcode on your iphone to connect with itunes.

IPhone shows connect to iTunes and when i connects, iTune crashes :(
I have downloaded the iOS8 and while it was upgrading the phone, the iTunes crashed and the iPhone is showing the ' connect to iTunes' symbol. But as soon as i plugged the device on my mac the iTunes crashes. Relaunching the iTunes again ended up in crashing the same . i can launch iTunes with out the iPhone connected, but again, when i connect the phone it crashes. and the phone keep showing " connect to iTunes icon".. Bad problem
Restart the Mac, restart iTunes, then connect the iPhone using the recovery mode instructions given in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808
