Iphone 6 Silver Verizon Run Around

Morning All, I happened to preorder a set of iphone 6 16gb in silver on saturday with a deliver by date of 9/19 i received and order confirmation number and i check the status and it says the order is processing to check back at a later time, however my brother ordered his on monday morning and he received his shippping tracking number yesterday have any of yal had this problem? I have called verizon multiple time and keep getting the run around from them as to whats the status on my order renging from they cant provide me more info than that to telling me ill receive the phones by 10/7 to telling me my order has processed and shipped but cant provide confirmation. just got off the phone with internet orders with a supervisor named gary he was very rude told me if i didnt like my service to feel free to cancel he claims that the order delie by date was an estimate prior to them knowin how many devices apple was going to give to them and that now my expected date is 10/7 im in the brink of canceling all my verizon services as they have some of the prst customer service / sales department by far how is it make any sense people that ordered after me are going to receive the phones before me.

If you can prove there is favoritism in delivery of service to your community then they will deal with verizon but the FCC isn't going to pay much attention if your a crank and keep pestering them . My angle has been to keep plugging away at it explain business reasons of why they need to extend service but being respectful to Verizon. Keeping pressure on them maybe even helping them if local community is biased against adding cell tower or other Red tape . Give them benefit of doubt too they may be hampered by community or local state justification that just wont grant any service improvements.

    - iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server

    So I need suggestions before I take business elsewhere. I've been a long standing customer of Verizon and unfortunately brought wife and family over as well. My wife's iPhone screen cracked with one week left before her two year contract is up and she can upgrade. So I assure her it won't matter that it is a week early, I'm sure they will work with you. So she goes into a Verizon store front in which they tell her they cannot approve it a week early but to go home and call online support to approve and note her account so she can return the following day. So she calls the online support which they tell her the store folks are lazy and always say that but they can do the upgrade, the online support told her the account was noted and to return to the store. So she does that only for the store clerk to again deny her any progress. Now its three days later and three attempts but only the run around. How sorry do you have to be and now to avoid my wife and two boys spending another afternoon wasting time with Verizon I have to shop other vendors myself.
    Any suggestions or similar stories out there?

    Verizon does not upgrade early. They changed all that long ago.
    What you get today is a stall tactic and then when its time you can then upgrade.

    I got an iPhone 4 32gb off of ebay, I do not have it yet. what made me buy it was that it said that it was a unlocked 32gb iphone 4 for $44.99 stuck in a boot loop, I googled that and seen as easy fix got excited then I ordered and paid for it and it is on its way. then I was just looking at the photos again a few minutes ago then noticed that in the one photo there is NO SIM slot, then I said hahaha that is not unlocked as it is a CDMA, then figured that it is a Verizon iPhone so now I am needing to know if one can get past that activation screen if the iPhone does not have a phone number?
    I too have no idea what version iOS is on it. I do know it is a CDMA as it does not have the SIM SLOT on the side of the phone.
    I do not know if Sprint iPhone 4 is without a SIM slot or even if they use the iPhone 4 on Sprint so it has to be a Verizon then yes?
    reguadless the question remaines the same, does it ( a CDMA) have to have a phone number attached to it in order to get it to work using everything on the phone besides the phone part ie making Phone calls and texting?

    as I stated I have NOT recived it in the mail yet, I discovered that it is a CDMA by looking at the pictures again. as just moments before I was reseacring the psychial differences between an iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s and it showed and said that the major way to tell the difference is them cuts in the band on the phone where iPhone 4 has one on top and the iPhone 4s does not, the iPhone 4s has four cuts in it two on each side so when I seen the picture of the top of the iPhone and seen that it did NOT have a cut in the band on top I said to myself wow they miss that it is an iPh9one 4s and not just an iPh9one 4, so I googled how to fix a boot loop and found the answer more then once being the same answer so I bought it.
    then I took a look at the pictures again after all was said and done befre I have yet to recive said iPhone 4 32GB then I noticed it does not have the SIM tray then said oh *&*%^Y$#*$&$#(# that is a CDMA they cannot be unlocked it is either a Verzion or Srint. as I already have an iPone 4 16GB and I cannot get it unlocked becuase they the powers to be them a$$ whipes that love to control other people lives past a law stating that one now has to get permission from AT&T / T Moble to get your phone unloced so I cannot as I have not had the iPhone 16GB but for a week as I too got it off of Ebay thinking I'll just get it unlocked like I did with my other iPhone 4 8GB that I only paid like 2 dollars and some change off of ebay to get it unlocked with no problem within a week it was unlocked. someone stoled that iPhone 4 bGB
    so I got that iPhone 4 16 GB for under 100 dollars in good working order and looks off of ebay just about a week or so before then found that I cannot get it unloceked due to that new law that was passed about unlocking phones. so now I am in comminications with AT&T getting the old run around about getting a stright answer out of them if I keep it ( a second hand phone) on there gophone plan for 6 months can I then get it unlocked, question to them and get an answer that does not state a yes or no as it is a yes or no question.
    but so yeah I am to get that iPhone 4 32GB ph9one in the mail on firday(tomorrow) I do want to open it and see if I can get it out of the boot loop just to see if I can and I may just keep it for an ipod use that is way I am wondering if I got a have it attached to a carrier to activate it in case I restore it at any time.

    I need help. I am tired of getting run around. I want to switch to Verizon because of great customer service that my friends and colleagues talk about they receive from Verizon. My experience so far does not reflect that all. I per-ordered iPhone 6 plus on Sept 12th as a new customer, filled out all the info. to order new service and port my current number from an other provider. My order was completed and I received email confirmation by 2:30 CST (12:30 PST). The entire time during order process, I was being told that my phone will be delivered on Sept. 19th. The order status page still says "Expected Ship Date: Not available at this time.". I am not even sure if my order went through and If I am even going to receive a phone. I have called customer service several times and no one seems to know what's going on. COULD SOMEONE AT VERIZON PLEASE HELP and clarify if I am still going to receive my phone? This is getting extremely frustrating. My wife's and kids contract with our current service provid@er expire in August. I was going to switch them to Verizon as well, however, at this point I am not so sure if I am going to switch.

    If Verizon gets 4 million orders for iPhone 6es and they only sent Verizon 2 million and they cant tell Verizon when they will ship the the other 2 million then yes that is Apple's fault and Verizon has no way of telling you anything.

  • Very disappointed with Motorola Razr M AND VZW Run Around

    I got the Motorola Razr M last December.  I picked the Motorola M because it was a nice compact size without compromising screen size and Motorolas are very durable phone....or so I thought.  I have had nothing but problems with this model phone.  I am on my 6th replacement.   I have had software problems and hardware problems.  Two "certified" replacement phones have had hardware defects upon being sent out to me.  The rest have had numerous software problems.  Verizon has been good about sending out replacement phones since I was under my 1 year manufacturers warranty..until this week when I asked if i could get a different phone sent out since this models seems to have so many problems.  I got a major run around and no follow up by a "management supervisor" who told me she would work directly with me to resolve the situation...she even gave me her direct number but ended up not being her number when I tried to call back.  I am not pleased with the way VZW has decided to handle this as I have been a loyal customer for 11 years.  I do blame the reps...I know they are doing their jobs with the boundaries that are set for them.  I just want a phone to work for the remainder of my contract with VZW.  I even tried to contact Motorola and they said since I bought the phone through VZW I had to work with VZW for replacements.  SO VERY FRUSTRATING!

    You have actually helped me with a decision that has been driving me crazy for the past week.  I do not need nor do I want all or most of the above you mentioned.  Heck I hardly use half of that stuff on my home computer or I-pad.  I will definately stay with my basic phones that I can get calls, texts and take pictures.   Thanks again.

    This type of thing is probably best done with a script, either by adding a uniquely named field to each page or by spawing a template page that contains just the form field (like your last idea). There's not a built-in method for doing this. If you add a blank page to the beginning of the document, create the field in the location you want, and make the page a template, you can run the following script in the interactive JavaScript console (Ctrl+J):

    Apple approached Verizon in regards to the iPhone at or about the same time as they approached AT&T - before the iPhone was a finished product. AT&T agreed to most or maybe all of Apple's demands/requirements for the iPhone before seeing the finished product - and from a computer company that had never produced a cell phone before. With Apple and Verizon not being able to come to terms, this left AT&T with not only being the largest carrier in the U.S. in regards to the number of subscribers at the time, but the largest GSM network provider in the U.S. Manufacturing a GSM iPhone only makes sense in regards to testing and support along with GSM networks dominating the overall worldwide market by a very significant margin.
    If someone believes Apple is too controlling, Apple has nothing over Verizon. Unless Verizon does a 180 in regards to the control they exert and require with the phones they carry and with their business practices, I doubt the iPhone will ever be available with Verizon even after they have their LTE network up and running across most of the country. A couple of examples that would affect the iPhone - Verizon supports visual voicemail with a couple of phones that support visual voicemail access, which were introduced after the iPhone and Apple/AT&T incorporated visual voicemail with the iPhone. Verizon charges an additional monthly fee for visual voicemail access with the phones that support it. I believe the only way to have music on a Verizon phone is by purchasing music from Verizon's online music store. This would be a direct conflict with iTunes, which doesn't require purchasing music from the iTunes store to transfer music to the iPhone, and would leave Verizon completely out of the loop in regards to additional potential revenue that would be lost with the iPhone.

    Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
    Basic troubleshooting is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new).  Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
    If the issue continues, contact the carrier to troubleshoot the network connectivity issues.

    It sounds like you are unable to connect to your home Wi-Fi suddenly on 2 different iOS devices. I would be interested to know if the affected phones are able to connect to a different Wi-Fi connection, but barring that I would use the following article to help troubleshoot the devices and the Wi-Fi connection:

    Number one - that person has given you false information...the Apple store genius bar supports all Apple products whether in or out of warranty.  Checking is free, service on an out of warranty item is not free.
    Try a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears, ignore the red slider if that appears.
    Since you show that you have iOS 7.0.3 you might want to update that iOS to 7.0.4...plug the iPhone in so you are on a solid power source, then while on a WiFi go to Settings > General > Software Update and update to 7.0.4.

The computer is just too large and cumbersome to carry while walking around. I Want to add numbers to my excel docs whilst right on my ipad as I go through inventory.

    I seem to be having the same problem on my brand new iPhone 4S. Everything was working fine on the phone until I updated to iOS 5.1.1, but now I no longer receive push notifications for the native Mail app, Instagram, or the Facebook app. I still seem to be receiving SMS texts and iMessages via push, but the aforementioned apps need to be opened before I can receive missed notifications (having them open in the background seems to make no difference).
