Iphone texting problem

When I am in a text conversation and get a reply, it does not show on my screen. It shows I have a message. I go back to message screen, it's there and when I click it puts it on the screen, I just had to leave. Any Idea's?

No, I save some of my contacts with the area code and some without. For example, the contacts that are in my area I don't use an area code, and the contacts that are not in my area, I use an area code. I do not have any international numbers.

My iphone text tone is not working when I plug in the earphone.
My earphone is always plug into the iphone as I use it to answer calls. I notice that iphone does not alert me (sound) when there is a new messages. Instead the text sound is transfer to the earphone speaker.
As the earphone is plug into the iphone and I am not putting it on always, I need it to still hear the text tone whenever I received new messages.
Anyone pls help.. the problem still there even I updated..

The iPhone is working exactly as it is designed.
Your options are:
1) Unplug the headset.
2) Leave the headset plugged in and the earpiece in your ear at all times.
3) Turn on vibrate and put the phone in your pocket.
4) Leave feedback for Apple and hope they deem it worthy of their time to fix.

i have tried this new charset combination specifically for iphone and i m waiting for response from sweden alliance.....i hope this works fine as iso works great for 8-bit characters.
would like to have your thoughts though.

IPhone Freezing Problem

Had my iPhone for about a week now and have been having the same problem just about everyday once a day. The problem is that my iPhone will try sending a message, call, or goto the internet and it just won't load/call/send. When sending a message the bar will have a little chunk it won't finish and when I try calling someone it will just sit there and I click "End Call" and it just sits on the phone screen.
This doesn't happen everytime. It's usually the texting problem I encounter the most. The fix I use is just a restart and then it works. This makes me believe it's not a reception problem because I restart the
phone and I don't move.
Does anyone else have this kind of problem?
On a side note:
While making this post on my iPhone it keeps zooming in on where I'm typing but doesn't follow the line. Can I fix this?

Yeah the factory restore did nothing to correct the issue.
One thing that I have observed is that when I text someone while I have 1 bar indicating. The message progress goes nearly to the end and then stops for ever. I have left it overnight and it stays that way. No signals in or out. No phone, email nothing. It appears to lock up the transceiver completely until the phone is rebooted. Then the flood of texts and emails start. Ridiculous.
One funny thing is signal meter still goes up and down under circumstances that it normally would.

Then, have them set it up using their own Apple ID, not yours.

Lines around type and other type/text problems in Dreamweaver CS3

Good news/bad news,
First the good news…
My thanks to a forum member by the name of Mylenium. With Mylenium's advice I have improved my halo problem by including a black background when I save type in Illustrator CS3 as part of importing it into Dreamweaver CS3.
However, the bad news, is that I’m still having type and text problems.
Problem area 1
Now, in Dreamweaver, I’m getting lines appearing around the type.
I am dragging and dropping the .gif type file into a Dreamweaver Div Tag.
How do I get rid of the lines around the type so that they do not show up in the Safari browser?

Problem area 2
I cannot drag and drop text from a Word .doc file into a Dreamweaver div tag.
I also cannot copy and paste Word .doc text into a div tag.
How do I include text on my webpage without having to manually type it in?

From within Dreamweaver CS3, how do I place text? Dragging and droppign the file does not work.

The way I created the portfolio type in IllustratorCS3 using the File > Save for Web and Devices. I then imported the resulting .gif file so that it was within my root folder within the Files panel within Dreamweaver CS3.
Am I doing this right?

The problems you are experiencing with the image text, (why are you using image text, these days?) is probably cause by the image having a border when created in illustrator, or the image size being set incorrectly.
As for the word text if you are using windows, see http://livedocs.adobe.com/en_US/Dreamweaver/9.0/help.html?content=WSc78c5058ca073340dcda91 10b1f693f21-7ce6.html.
On the mac it is a little more complex, save your word doc as html, then apply the 'clean up word html files', (see - http://livedocs.adobe.com/en_US/Dreamweaver/9.0/help.html?content=WSc78c5058ca073340dcda91 10b1f693f21-7ef5.html) copy the relevant text and mark-up from the word html file, and paste into your html document in the required position.

Workaround for the Fade/Appear blocky text problem in IE

Just wanted to share with folks a workaround for the IE
"blocky text" problem that you see when using Fade effects like the
one used in this example:

It turns out if you set the 'background' CSS property on the
element you are fading, that IE properly renders the text. So to
fix the effects sample above, all you would have to do is modify
this CSS rule in the file to place a background color on the
description region to get things to look good in IE:

opacity: 0;
filter: alpha(opacity=0);
background: white;
So if folks have been avoiding the use of effects because it
makes things look terrible in IE, you now have a workaround.

I was using spry's AppearFade effect to transition between
"slides" in what equates to a viewstack that I created.
Then I noticed that it would take bold text in IE and make it
look all smudgy or blurry.
Well, after working on it for a while, I got to thinking,

browser"... "Hmmm, I wonder".

Lo and behold, feed the stupid MS browser an MS font and it

Open Mac Mail.
From the menu bar click Mail > Preferencees then select the Accounts tab then the Account Information tab then click + to add the account.

E6 Big Texting Problem

Can anybody help me out with this problem?
My E6 has developed a texting problem, whenever I send a text none of the text appears in the conversation speech bubble, just the date or time when it was sent and the character "0". Does anyone know why?

Would suggest that you backup E6-00 using Nokia Suite, then reset device to "Out of box" state by keying in *#7370# followed by 12345 (default Nokia lock code unless altered by user). Perhaps restore contacts only and try out texting/conversations before restoring device any further.

Long Answer.
Enable the iPhone for Messages. Make sure it Verifies and that your can Send from the iPhone Number.
To do that you can Enable the iMessages account in Messages on the Mac using and Apple ID.
The iPhone can then send from the iPhone Number to the Apple ID (Mac).
Then add the Apple ID to the iPhone.
The Mac will then get a pop up saying that the iPhone is using the Apple ID and the iPhone number.
Accept this Pop up to enable the Mac to "sync" the iPhone Number iMessages.
(Sync in this case is only "Display on All Devices").
Now you can enable Text Forwarding on the iPhone.
IF the Apple ID and iPhone Number are already linked this will launch the app if it is Quit and display the Code number you need.
The number then need to be entered back on the iPhone to complete the process.
The Text Forwarding option on the iPhone should then show the device(s) that are linked this way.
