Iphone 6 videos can't be viewed on ipad photostream
I have an iPhone 6 running iOS8.1.2. I have an iPad4 running iOS8.1.3. I extracted my iPhone 6 video to my PC and tried to sync it into iPad4. However I can't seem to find the video in the iPad 4 photostream. Do anyone have a similar problem?
Thanks. did some further experimenting. I tried to downconvert my iPhone 6 video from 1080p (1920 by 1080) video to 720p (mov) before I sync it with Itunes to iPad. It worked. I can see the 720p video in photos.
2nd experiment: i tried to convert 1080p video from native mov format to 1080p DivX mp4 format. Similarly, this also could not be seen in iPad.
I came to the strange conclusion that iPad4 can't show 1080p videos?? sounds very strange...
Any help is appreciated pls. This is driving me crazy.

My problem is: I can import and view the videos by importing them directly from my camera (Canon 5D Mark II). However, it fails to sync when I import them into iPhoto first.
Import from camera:
I have imported videos from my Canon 5D Mark II directly to the iPad using the camera connection kits. It works perfectly. I can view them in Photos and iPhoto (iPad). I can edit them in iMovie and Avid Studio. It works just like those video I took with my iPhone 4S which were synced to my iPad using iTunes.
Sync with iTunes:
However, it fails if I use the iTunes and iPhotos (Mac) to do my job. I imported the photos and videos to iPhoto (Mac) and then put them in an album which is to be synced to iPad. Then, I connected my iPad, started my iTunes and checked that album under the photo tab. After that, I pressed "Sync". When sync was finished, it reported to me that those files, which could be imported, played and edited, could not be played on iPad.
It is clearly a software bug in iTunes. Please fix that.By the way, I have seen many replies in this thread (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2398865?start=15&tstart=0) that describe the same problem. (Please note that I am talking about the replies, not the captioned question in the thread).

Videos on time capsule - view on iPad
Ok, not sure which thread this should have gone in, but this is to do with tc so here goes
Have A TC with load of saved movies in folders on it that we view thourgh plex or front row on the main lounge Mac.
Now I have an iPad, and wish to view the same movies on that upstairs (don't ask)
I know you can get air video on the main Mac, acting as a server, then stream to the iPad, all well and good, however I don't want the main mac to have to stay on to act as the server, and wondered when I will be able to navigate on the iPad to the folders on TC and stream the videos to the iPad ( won't do them on iTunes as never sure which ones to sync, and then would rather choose what to view when I want, not what's on the pad)
So the question is, is there anything that will allow me to browse the TC folders (as the TC tends to be always on) then select and stream any type of movie ....??
All suggestions are welcome and would make life that bit easier...

Goodnight !In order to stream video from the Time Capsule you will need a UPnP/DLNA media server. Currently, that is your Mac.
I am aware of software (e.g., PlugPlayer for iPad) that will allow you to stream from a UPnP/DLNA server to your iPad, but I'm not aware of any means to run a UPnP/DLNA server directly on the Time Capsule or any other router for that matter to be able to do what you are looking for. -
Error message this video can not be played on iPad using you tube
Why do I get this error message when using you tube and how can I solve it. It just started happening recently.
There are a few possibilities I can think of.
A) file names are too long. What is "too long" for an iPod? I don't know, you'd have to experiment, but some people with outrageously long file names were unable to sync the file over.
B) Something in your conversion settings is incorrect. The iPod is pretty specific in what it will accept.

--this seems unlikely if you've used the iPod defaults in each of the programs you've tried.
C) Are you certain that you are asking iTunes to sync the iPod-compatible videos to the iPod and not the original videos? In other words, you've converted your videos, removed the originals from iTunes and imported the converted videos into iTunes to sync to your iPod. The original videos and the converted videos might have the same name.
D) various strange problems happen when updating iPod firmware and/or iTunes. If you've done the 5 R's (http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/five_rs/), then you may need to consider downgrading the iPod software and/or iTunes. Remember that in the 5 R's, "Restore" deletes your content, so be sure to have a backup of your iPod content. I believe downgrading firmware will also require erasing your iPod, too. -
i did the ios 5 upgate for my iphone 4 and can no longer view the pics i take in the camera app or camera roll in photos. nothing lets me see them the page just goes to no photos or video but i can see the last pic i took in the little box in the corner in the camera. does anyone know how to fix this problem and make it work normal again. thanks
Try a reset of the device by pressing and holding the home and power button for 15-20 seconds until the white Apple logo appears.

1 to create a big camera for i pads and ipods and iphones so we can put it in another ipad or ipod or iphone and it has a zoom lens

H.MThe iPad 1 can't run the newer operating systems. It'd be like trying to play a bluray disc in your 6 year old dvd player....it simply lacks the hardware to make the software run.
No suggestion about the camera, but given that Apple's attitude seems to be to focus more on the more mobile devices for photography (the iPhone and Touch cameras got features, the iPad and mini didn't), that is highly unlikely. You can tell Apple what you want, but you'd probably be money ahead to get a digital camera.
as to the photos, anything put on via iTunes has to come off via iTunes.Your main alternative would be to look for photo apps that offer file exchange that may give you more functionality. -
Why can't I view my icloud backups on a new apple device using the same icloud id? Unluckily I lost 4 iphones in 2 yrs. all had same icloud acct on them, so when i log on to locate my current iphone on my macbook or on new iphone, it shows a list of all the lost iphones and their data take up.
When i click on settings on my ios> go to icloud > storage & backup> manage storage:
LOST IPHONE 1- 4.5 GB DOCUMENTS & DATA : it shows PREVIEW 1.2 MB PAGES1.6 MB TEXT EDIT91.6 KB PHOTOS 3.2 GB
LOST IPHONE 2- 3.2 GB DOCUMENTS & DATA: it shows same thing just different gb's mb's kb's
LOST IPHONE 3- etc.......
but you can't click on those documents & data to show what exactly they are so you can move them or save and delete. If I go into icloud there's nothing there from that long ago. is that data deleted? if i were to get that certain iphone back and turn it on would the pics, docs still be in icloud? it says all that room in my icloud is still taken up so where can i view it?? anyone know??
THANK YOU!If you haven't already, you could force-quit Quicktime by using the menu option from the desktop (finder) and choose Quicktime.
Not sure what you have frozen on the screen, be it a failed movie, or some unusual screen shot. If you can find by date (created) you may be able to look for .mov or quicktime suffix name or other video file content to delete it.
And you may have to restart your computer and perhaps run repair disk permissions from Disk Utility's first aid on the hard disk drive in your computer.
Not sure if all that would help now, but it is something a few days late...!

InDesign's PDF export engine does not transcode your videos, they are embedded exactly as they were in the original file. The Flash Player runtime which displays video inside PDF files may not show a perfect match to Quicktime etc. because most video playback tools aren't designed for a color-calibrated workflow, but they should be close.
The playback quality (blocking and aliasing) will be affected if the clip is not playing at 100% (screen pixels != video pixels) and in PDFs with the standard video player widget, that will only ever happen when you use 'floating window' mode. PDF pages have physical dimensions, so viewing them at "100%" does not make them match screen pixels.
If you don't mind the video clip being smaller than the media annotation in which it's playing, then use my free upgrade to the Acrobat playback widget - VideoPlayerX - which maintains 1:1 pixel scale until the page is zoomed out too far for it to fit. You can install the widget into InDesign so it's used by default when exporting. -

I just recorded a video on my iPhone 4 and can't find it. I recorded a 45 minute video and I checked it as I was recording. As soon as I was done, I checked to view it and no video was available. This was very tough because I was recording a big day in my little girls 8 heard ole life. Please help.

I have a little different issue where I can see the video on the iphone (4S), but can not see it when go to my iphone connected to my PC? It did allow me to email about 2 minutes of the video, which I really was not expecting it to do anything because the file size is very large (45min video). So it seems the file is there on the phone but I can not see it through the PC drive? Any suggestions? I need to burn the presentation to a DVD or save to external hard drive. One background note: I was not watching the phone the whole time, but I believe it stopped recording once it ran out of memory. So I am wondering if the video session never "closed"? -
After updating my system to Mountain Lion 10.8.2 I can no longer view videos on Facebook or other sites. The only one I can view videos on is youtube. I have downloaded Adobe Flash player and still no luck. I cannot even open Preview on my computer anymore. Any ideas would be helpful thanks
Merely clicking the Preview icon in the Dock doesn't cause it to open anything, unless you had one or more windows open the last time it quit.
If you're sure you've installed the latest version of Flash, take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. After each step, relaunch Safari and test.

As of yesterday afternoon, I can no longer view the content of email on my iPhone. I can view it on my iPad and my iMac. When I open the email, there's no content. Contact and subject appear, but zero content. It seems to be chronically "checking for email" at the bottom of the screen, whereas the email downloading indicator at the top has finished. This issue is across all three of my email accounts.
