IPhone 7 could Support Wireless Charging in Apple's Way (Rumours)

iPhone 7 could Support Wireless Charging in Apple’s Way (Rumours) Wireless power transmission was introduced by Nikola Tesla, when he succeeded in lighting electric lamps without wires. However, it took centuries for this technology to find its way in the mainstream. Well, over the past few years, qi wireless charging has finally emerged on to the consumer electronics market, especially in gadgets. The latest Smartphones like Galaxy S6/ S6 Edge, Phablets like Nexus 6 and Tablets like Nexus 7 now have built in wireless charging capabilities. But Apple’s iPhone 6 or 6 plus still lags behind in this advanced level of charging. To make them compatible with wireless charging pad a user need to insert an additional receiver that makes the charging process more hefty.
Recent video by GdgtCompare on their official you tube channel hinted towards built-in wireless charging concepts that Apple may introduced in its iPhone 7. Apple generally changes the design of its iPhone every two years, so we can expect that in 2016, iPhone 7 will get new look and design according to Apple’s terminology.
For this year it is almost confirmed that upcoming iPhone 6S and 6S plus shares similar design to the existing iPhone 6 handset.

The warranty is for one year and covers any manufacturing defects during that year. If you chose to pay for AppleCare, then your warranty would be extended. I could understand being angry if your iPod failed a week after the warranty expired, but FOUR YEARS after its expiration?!? I do not know any company that would cover a product years after warranty expiration.
So the logic board died. Nothing is designed to last forever. Apple is under no obligation - legally or ethically - to GIVE you something so long after the expiration of the warranty. After five years of use - temperature extremes, jostling, the occasional drop, etc. - something is likely to fail (all you need is one solder to go bad). If a portable electronic device lasts five years, I think that is the very definition of well built.
Now let me ask you something. If your car has a 50,000 mile/5 year warranty and the fuel injection dies after 250,000 miles - should the auto manufacturer be liable for the failure? Even if that is often the first thing to go on that particular model? And even if you treated the car perfectly?
And, as far as getting a non-Apple digital music player, that is certainly your prerogative. But do you think ANY manufacturer is going to give you the time of day four years after your warranty has expired?

  • Does Apple iPhone 4 Dock support answering calls through apple headphone

Does Apple iPhone 4 Dock support answering calls through apple headphone? or is the audio out just a simple audio out that cannot interact with the headphone cable remote control, e.g. answering calls , skipping to next song as we used to as normal?

From my experience, whichever one is connected last reigns supreme and takes over.
When I walk to my car, I have my headphones in, and when I plug it into my car dock (with the headphones still plugged in and music still playing), the music switches from the headphones and pumps through my car stereo.
Then when I get out of the car and plug my headphones in (with the car dock still attached and playing music), the headphones take over.

  • Is the iPhone  hardware could support the distance measure?

Is the iphone hardware could support the distance measure?

No, an iPhone 6 purchased in the US will not work on 4G in the UK - it is not designed to.
Why on earth are you considering purchasing an iPhone in the US to use in the UK?  Basically, it is a completely instance idea to do this - if you live in the UK and are going to be using the phone in the UK on the 3 network, then buy it in the UK.
If you buy the phone in the UK, then you get 4G coverage and also EU warranty cover should anything go wrong with the phone.
If you buy the phone in the US, you will not get 4G on the phone and you will have no warranty cover for the phone either, as iPhone warranty is NOT international, so it means that you will have to fly back to the US should anything go wrong with the phone.
You also will not save as much money as you think you will.  There are local taxes as well as other taxes to pay on US phones and when you come back to the UK you may have to pay import duty and VAT on the phone too, so all money you thought you saved will probably work out at the same price, so you won't really have a phone that you can use fully - no 4G and no warranty cover.

  • Nokia 1020 wireless charging

    Hey guys
I will be buying the Nokia 1020 with the wireless charging cover soon. I just want to know if this phone will be compatiable with a QI wireless car holder/charger.
    It's one of these:
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/QI-Wireless-Car-Charger-Pad-Holder-for-Phone-Nokia-Lumia-920-820-HTC-8X-/1...
It says it supports a samsung galaxy note 3 so it much be able to fit a Nokia 1020 in, tried contacting the seller; no help. They just sent me the same compatible list that is on the product description.
I think it will work but I don't get why they don't mention it, they mention all the phones that doesn't come with a genuine wireless charging. Like iphone doesn't support wireless charging, some company made them specially for them.
Anyway, I just want your opinion.
    Thanks.

Unfortunately Nokia does not have access to retailers stocks so you will need to contact retailers directly for that information. You'll probably find that if you visit a large mall you'll find plenty of stores selling them.

  • Wireless Charging for Lumia 635 is it compatible o...

At the microsoft store online I found a Wireless charging stand that says it is compatible with the Lumia 635.
So, clicked on the chat function to ask if that was true and was told that she did not know the answer to my question and then gave me a link to some tech answers person who also had no answers.  How difficult should it be to find out if my device supports Qi wireless charging?  It says that my device is compatible but I don't always believe what I read especially when it comes to spending $70.  Really disappointed that I wasted so much time talking to people who could not answer a simple question, does my device support Qi wireless charging and if so how would I know? Is it available for the AT&T version? If is not why do they list it as a compatible device?  So far my experience has been pleasant with my windows phone and non-existent with windows phone support. Couldn't even find an email address to write to get answers or to complain about their (Non) Tech Support.
Put it down, charge it upWith this wireless charging stand (DT-910), there's no need to plug anything in—simply place your Nokia Lumia on it to start charging. The multifunctional stand can activate a pre-specified application on your phone via near field communication (NFC), and you can use your phone in portrait mode while it charges.
    Compatible with:
Any phone that supports Qi wireless charging
Nokia Lumia 635   Is it Qi compatible or not?
    Nokia Lumia Icon
    Nokia Lumia 928
    Nokia Lumia 920
Nokia Lumia 1020 (requires CC-3066 Wireless Charging Cover)
Nokia Lumia 925 (requires CC-3065 Wireless Charging Cover)
Nokia Lumia 820 (requires CC-3041 Wireless Charging Shell)

Regretfully the 635 does not support wireless charging of any type.

I have no idea what you meant by giving your sister your "iPod touch for proof". Proof of what?
The only way she could have traded it was recycling it for 10% off the cost of a new device but the Apple Store doesn't do this as far as I know for iPhones. You could take the receipt for your iPhone to the Apple Store and show it to the manager but you really need to solve this within your family.

    Turn off iCloud completely
Depending on whether you want to stop using iCloud on all or only some devices, do one or more of the following:
On your iOS device’s Home screen, go to Settings > iCloud, then at the bottom of the screen, tap Delete Account.
Note:   If you delete your iCloud account, iCloud will no longer back up your iOS data. You can still back up your device in iTunes (for more information, open iTunes and choose iTunes > Help).
On your Mac, open iCloud preferences, then click Sign Out.
If your Mac has OS X v10.7.5 and you turn off iCloud, your calendar information and reminders aren’t stored locally in iCal. If you want to retain your calendar and reminder information, you need to back it up before turning off iCloud. For more information, see the Apple Support article iCloud: Calendar & reminder data removed from Calendar and Reminders or iCal when disabling iCloud Calendar.
On your Windows computer, open the iCloud Control Panel, then click Sign Out.
Note:   If you turned on automatic download of music, app, or book purchases (in iTunes preferences or in Settings on your iOS device), your iTunes purchases are still downloaded to your devices.
Set up iCloud on your devices

  • About When I Charge My Apple iPhone 4?

Ok, I'm Charging My Apple iPhone 4 to always try to stay at 100% Battery Life, am i'm suppose to do it that way? cause it's staying at 100% for a long time, is that really normal? am i'm doing the right thing, some people told me I Should keep it at 100% all the time & in Verizon Store & The Apple Store they always have it Charging all the time, so I Been doing the same thing to try to keep it at 100% cause they told me it's suppose to be at 100% so what you want me to really do? any Suggestions?

You never disconnect your iPhone from a power source - it remains connected to a power source the overwhelming majority of the time?
When the iPhone remains connected to a power source after the battery is fully charged, charging stops.
    http://www.apple.com/batteries/
Lithium-ion polymer batteries need to be used for maximum performance. If you don’t use your device often, be sure to complete a charge cycle at least once a month.
A charge cycle means using all of the battery’s power, but that doesn’t necessarily mean a single charge. For instance, you could listen to your iPod for a few hours one day, using half its power, and then recharge it fully. If you did the same thing the next day, it would count as one charge cycle, not two, so you may take several days to complete a cycle.

When i pug my iphone into my computer to charge it the apple shows up and just keep blinking. Does anyone know how to fix it?

    Hello Lorraine,
Thank you for contacting Apple Support Communities. You might try the steps in the following article regarding iPhone battery charging:
iPhone and iPod touch: Charging the battery
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1476
    Specifically:
    Resolving issues
If your battery doesn't charge, or if your device shows a low-battery image, black screen, or "accessory not supported" alert, follow these steps.
Inspect the connector at the bottom of the phone:
Make sure that there are no bent pins in the connector.
Make sure that the connector is free from debris.
If there are bent pins or debris, please contact Apple Support.
    Otherwise, continue troubleshooting.
Make sure that the outlet you're using works.
Make sure that the Apple USB cable and Apple USB power adapter work.
Plug the device in to power and let it charge for up to 30 minutes. If you don't have an Apple USB power adapter, try connecting to a computer's high-power USB 2.0 port (not a keyboard). The computer must be on.
If the device still exhibits an issue, try turning your device off and then on again while connected to power.
If the issue is persists, please contact Apple Support.
    Regards,
    Jeff D.
