IPhone and BlueAnt V1 Issue

I have been using a BlueAnt V1 with my iPhone for three weeks now without a problem.
Today, everything changed when I attempted a phone call with mu headset; I heard a buzzing sound and the call was terminated. This was true for incoming calls as well.
The headset pairs and works properly with other phones in the office, but not mine. I called BlueAnt, they say it's a problem with the phone. Apple tells me it's a third party device that could void my warranty.
I have reset both devices multiple times (including 2 hard resets on the phone) to no avail. Any suggestions?

Try un-pairing and then paring the iPhone and the headset again.

IPhone and iPad iMessage issues...

I'm having a bit of an issue here and I assume it's on my end. Out of the blue, and only with particular contacts, a handful, when I message them my message goes through as an iMessage however they can only respond as a text. This happens on my iPhone and iPad. However, if I send using a default email to start the conversation, it works fine. So it's just with my phone number. Everyone else in my address book who has iMessage has absolutely no issues with this. I am at a loss. Myself and the people who this is happening to has turned off and on iMessage, restarted our devices, reset some settings, deleted the contact info and added new and nothing seems to work. If anyone has any ideas, I would be very appreciative of it.

HT4623 Iphone and ipad syncing issues

both my iphone and ipad stopped syncing with my computer (pc). The ipad never charged from my pc anyway but the iphone did. anyone else having this issue?

I fugured out that deleting from iPad does not delete from iPhone and whatever data is there is cloud will be retained for iPhone.

I'm experiencing a log in issue on my MBA since installing ML this morning. However, I am able to sign into iCloud via my iPhone, iPad and on the web without issue. This only occurs when I attempt to go into iCloud setting in system pref's... I have attempted to change my password and also reloaded iCloud. Neither of these actions resolved the issue. When I open iCloud preferences in system preferences on my Mac, it prompts me to enter my appleID and password. Once entered, it just hangs...
What exactly did you do (verified your apple ID/iCloud but in a very difficult way)?

Hi,
In the Finder use the Go Menu whilst holding down the ALT key.
Select the Library that appears when you do this.
Navigate to Containers/com.apple.soagent/Data/Library/Preferences
You will notice that many of the items are Aliases (to the Originals in ~/Library/Preferences).
But there are exceptions.
Delete (Drag to Trash) the com.apple.soagent.plist and com.apple.messageshelper.AccountInfoController.plist
Restart the Mac (I have not worked out is SOAgent launches when the Mac does).
Restart Messages.
If this does not work navigate to ~/Library/Preferences
In here find and Delete com.apple.ids.service.com.apple.madrid.plist
This will need a Restart of the app.
You will be asked Again for your Apple ID

IPads/iPhone and Open Wifi Issue

Running Cisco wireless at a larger university and We're running into issues with ipads and iphones on our network. We run an Open guest network. No encryption. But are having difficulty getting ipads and iphones, of variying models, getting connected reliably. We get "error joining network" messages, but only for the Open networks. Also, it seems Random. 3 out of 4 times it fails and then it will connect a few times and then fail again. It makes no sense whatsoever.
Here is out network setup:
Wireless network enryption: None (Open)
WLC is a 5508 Running version 7.0.222.0
We also have 2-4400 models running 7.0.222.0
APs are 1131's (ABG) and 1142's (AGN)
We have run several tests to confirm that this seems isolated to our Cisco envirnoment and only Open networks. We have another vendors products on site (That we've been slowly replacing with Cisco) and have the same network configured there and are not having these issues. We have also tried putting a WPA2-PSK password on the network for testing purposes, and that elminates the issues, however, we need this network to be Open due to requirements on our end.
We've tested everything from iPad 1's up to iPad 3's all running the latest iOS 5.1.1 as well as iPhone4 and iPhone4S version running 5.1.1. All seem to have the issue.
I'm running out of ideas for testing and troubleshooting this issue. Any help or direction would be greatly apprecated.

The session timeout will force a user to have to log back on the webauth. Idle timeout will allow the wlc to know of the iDevice even if it goes to sleep, or else it will timeout after 300 seconds which is default. Fast SSID change might not be needed unless you want the ability or devices to be able to switch to a different SSID or else the will have to wait for around 30 seconds.

IPhone and Exchange Calender issues persist with 2.1 update

Hi,
iPhone users cannot use the Exchange calender in my organization on their iPhones because of the following and Windows Mobile users do not have the same issue using the same settings. Exchange mail and contact work fine.
1. iPhone does not sync up existing calender events when Exchange account is added
2. Every event needs to be sent as an invitation to the Exchange account used on the iPhone. I did this after the 2.1 update and after a few minutes all the events that did show up from invitation suddenly disappear!
3. The iPhone cannot invite people to meetings. And if an event is created (for your own viewing) on the iPhone, if you edit the event it will not update on the Exchange side
4. After applying the 2.1 update I no longer receive invitation notices on the iPhone. The event just shows up in my calender but again, they disappear after a few minutes. The only events that stick are the ones I create on the iPhone and changes to that event to not reflect server side.
Has anyone come across this issue an if so are there any solutions? Thanks.

I actually discovered that the fix for the iPhone calendar not syncing correctly was either a recent MS update (We are using Exchange 2003) and or adjustment to Sites and Services in AD. So my fix above was not the fix after all. Some iPhone users during the last two weeks all of a sudden noticed their calendars were syncing and events were filled in.
From our Windows IT Admin when I asked them what they did:
“We ran Microsoft updates weekend before last, and we adjusted the Sites and Services part of AD so that our Domain Controllers are associated with their correct location (this change rendered RPC over HTTPS inoperable (it worked about 50% of the time prior to this change, based on which DC you authenticated against)).”

IPhone and Google Calendar issue

I'm going mental trying to figure something out here and I hope that someone can help me.
My wife and I both have an iphone, and, gmail accounts and wanted to have a calendar used by both of us so we can update different reminders and events and have them sync over the air. easy enough. Right ?
I created my calender under gmail. Set it up on my iphone, and, all is working fine. If I create an event on the gmail calendar, it gets pushed to my phone, and, it happens the other way around also. perfect. that part is good.
Now, I get my wife's phone and set hers up to "subscribe" to my calendar. All seems to work fine, but, for some reason, she isn't getting pop-up alerts on her phone when an event happens.
If I update something on my calendar, and, she opens up my calendar on her iphone, she can see that there is a new event, but, it doesn't pop-up a reminder on her phone when it's time. It kinda defeats the purpose of this utility.
I made sure on her gmail page that she has pop-up reminders on. am I missing something?
I've been subscribing and unsubscribing to my calender (with her phone for hours now) trying to figure out what Im doing wrong, and Im about to go mad.
Any ideas?

IPhone and Canon SLR issue

I just got a 3G iphone and updated the OS on my macbook to 10.5.4, but when I plug the phone in a window pops up and says 'no camera found', and the phone charges. Itunes doesn't see the phone at all. I think it's my Canon photo software for my EOS XTI. Anyone else have this problem/solve it? Thanks. Zach.

I was having the exact same problem. Connect iPhone 3g and Canon CameraWindow would open with a notification that no camera was attached.
I found a setting in ImageCapture which controls what happens when you connect a camera. In the preferences menu, just select none. Problem fixed.

Iphone and Camera Syncing Issues

When I plug in my Iphone to my MacBook I get an error message that reads "Syncing has been disabled on this Machine". Then when I click "Override" It states that it cannot be done. Then the iphone will start sycing. When I plug in either of my two cameras the computer does not recognize them at all, not allowing me to upload any photos. Almost as if nothing has been plugged into the USB Port. This also happens with Printers. It does not recognize that a printer is plugged into the USB port, therefore does not allow me to print anything.
What should I do?

My best advice would be to look first to see whether or not the calendar on your MBP agrees with the one on MobileMe - I'm betting you'll find issues there for which the phone is just a display medium. It will probably be necessary for you to reset your sync data and clean out either the iCal data or the data in MM Calendar.

Iphone and ical syncing issues

My iphone 3GS seems to be creating double all of the ical entries? I have recently updated to the new mobileme calendar but this was happening just before also.
I enter ical events on both my mac book pro and my iphone. Ical does not double the events but the iphone does.
Anyone else had this issue or know what could be causing it??

IPhone and macbook cursor issue?

I noticed that about the same time I got my iPhone that I started having issues with the cursor on my macbook. Every so often, the cursor would start scrolling to the right all by itself, even when I was nowhere near the track pad.
I thought my trackpad might be going bad, but then I noticed that sometimes when this happened I was also getting some GSM speaker buzz at the same time. Just a little while ago, my cursor started shaking and scrolling to the right and when I pulled my iPhone off my desk the cursor stopped.
Could this possibly be some kind of shielding issue? I saw one or two other people post about bizarre mouse behavior when the iPhone was docked but this happens when my iPhone is undocked on my desk next to my laptop. Hopefully everyone doesn't think I am imagining things...
Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.

ITunes Radio Restarts My iPhone and Has Buffering Issues

Does anyone else have the problem of having their iPhone restart randomly when trying to play a station on iTunes Radio? Also, does iTunes Radio have buffering issues while streaming, cutting in and out when trying to play a song? Lastly, when I try to play a song from my locally-stored library, it occasionally takes a few seconds to start playing a song; is this normal or is it another bug that needs to be squashed by Apple in the upcoming iOS 7.1 update?

I have noticed an issue with the restart when using stations I created. It typically happens after pausing one of the created stations, leaving the phone idle, and coming back to the phone and turning the station back on. That will usually cause a quick restart.

I have the iphone 4s. I have switched to using the icloud calendar because my phone would not sync with my pc. Data entered into the icloud calendar syncs to my iphone, but data entered into my iphone calendar does not sync to my icloud calendar. Can anyone help

Iphone and credit card issue.

My bank issued me a new debit card with a new number due to a data breach. I ordered my Iphone 6 plus with the old debit card and it is due to ship at the end of this month. I called CS to see if I could update the card, but they were not able to. My only options are to wait until the card declines and the provide the new card, or cancel and reorder the phone which would push back my delivery date. Does anyone know if an order automatically cancels if a card declines? Surely I can't be the only one in this predicament.

Iphone and blue tooth

I signed up for AT&T Hot Spot so I could use my iPad at work tethered to my iPhone. All was working wel luntil I somehow hit “forget this devce” on my iPhone. Now I can not reconnect my iPad and iPhone using bluetooth. The phone doesn’t “see” the ipad. I tried a hard reset on both devices. Any thoughts on how to make my two little buddies talk to each other again?

If you insist on going BT, you have to delete the pairing and start afresh. If the iPad won't talk to phone, maybe you get better luck the other way around, phone to iPad. What's important is to get the two to establish the pairing.
OTOH, wouldn't you get better service if you tethered the iPad to the phone using the Wi-Fi hotspot? Much faster than BT!
