IPhone and business accounts with AT&T

AT&T is telling me that I can not activate iPhones under my business plan with them. Has anyone else had issues with this? They told me this was part of the contract with Apple - has anyone heard anything about this?

For discussion purposes I will venture a few guesses:
a) ATT has been trying to get rid of the business discounts for quite some time, what better way to get business accounts switched over to personal accounts than something enticing like the iPhone (once you switch over, your business discounts are gone forever)
b) The iPhone has very few business features a road warrior would want
c) From the outset, the Business sector has compained that there might be too many security flaws in the iPhone - long before the iPhone came out
d) There are no business applications on the phone
e) ATT makes more money from personal accounts than from business accounts - no discounts, no need to keep a corporate entity happy
f) Many corporate networks forbid iTunes on their computer systems, and iTunes is required to activate and sync the iPhone, for updates, and everything else.
Those are just a few quick things I can think of off the top of my head. If I think of some others, I'll come back and edit and add them.

See Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device. But you'll still need the password.
Once you have the computer authorized to use the account she could change the password again to stop you buying apps on her card (assuming it's not on yours!). It would lock you out of upgrading them too but they should work unless she uses the deathorize all feature.
It depends on how amicable the split is...

On your phone, Go to "Settings", "iCloud", scroll to the bottom and "sign out." Assuming you have the the account password/security info of the current account, it will delete everything iCloud related upon your approval (don't worry, everything will remain in the cloud.) Once signed out, in the same settings location (under "Settings", "iCloud") sign in using your Apple ID and Password.

The best is to create another Windows user profile(additional User Account) where each one of you can manage your own account, library, playlist Apps, Contacts etc,

You would need to have the owner of that iCloud account to turn off. It can be done without them there. Check out the article below for more information. After that is done, you can put the correct backup on your iPhone.

I need help activating Advanced Calling 1.0 on Verizon for iphone 6 business account. I was on the phone with Verizon for over an hour and they can't figure out why it's not working. I'm trying to activate the Voice & Data and all I get is a spinning circle but it never actually works. Anyone have any ideas?

I just pulled this from the Verizon page. Not sure if it applies to you or not, but it could explain part of your problem since you identify this as a business account.

Yes, you would sign out of iTunes & App Store: Settings>iTunes & App Store, click on the Apple ID, click on Sign Out. Then sign back on with the new Apple ID. Also, if you have an iCloud account with the other Apple ID, you would delete that iCloud account, and then sign on with your new ID: Settings>iCloud>Delete Account.

suggests using contacts groups.
When syncing contacts, you can choose to sync all of your contacts or only selected groups.
You can select a group of contacts to which all new contacts created on your iOS device will be added.
You can set up groups in the Address Book application.
If you are all going to use the same iTunes apps library, turn off "Automatically sync new apps" in the apps tab just below the list of apps. Then you won't get new apps on your device unless you select them.

I just have purchased the new iPad for my business. I would like to have one business account with the company credit card behind it for business App purchases. And a private account with my private credit card for purchasing games.
Is this combination possible? How do I do this?

No, iOS devices are single user devices. You'll create an app ownership nightmare.
If I was in your shoes, I would set it up as a personal device, using personal CC. Any apps that were business related, expense them and reimburse yourself.

Actually, everyone missed one point, when a device is priced, the cost of icloud storage space for that device is also included in it that is why they are able to give you 5gb each for each user ID, in nutshell there is nothing free coming with apple device purchase, it is paid for. What they are trying by giving only 5gb per user ID irrespective of the number of devices used is pure broadlight looting, they take money from you when you buy each device and give you nothing, This is a case of goods and services bought but not fully deliverd ie apple can be suied for discreminatory treatment towards it's users. I wonder why no one tried this yet in America where everyone sue everyone for petty things..... there is no one to take up this issue? . if tim got any love for the guys who shell out money for the devices his company makes, he should be implimenting this as priority before someone wake up from sleep and sue him.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
From what you're describing appears to be Activation Lock, a security measure provided by Apple that makes it harder for people to use a lost or stolen device. You will need to enter the password for the Apple ID the device is prompting you for.
