IPhone app as a gift

Hiya,
Dumb question.
I've bought two apps for a friend's new iPhone for Xmas. I downloaded them to my Mac Pro [I know that was a mistake]. Is there anyway I can get these apps to my friends iPhone. I don't want to de-authorize the Itunes account but it's no problem, obviously, to de-authorize these apps - I don't want them and they're not for me.

Change the country of your app store to Australia, download the app and then change your store country back to India

Buying an app as a gift for a friend

I just got an IPod and a friend has an IPhone. She recently mentioned wanting to get a birding app for her phone. I was wondering, is there any way I can purchase this as a gift for her(I assume with my account)?

You can't gift an app from the Mac App Store to an iOS (iPhone) App Store device. But you can do it from an iPod to an iPhone.
On your iPod, open the App Store, pick out any app you want, and scroll down past the description and screenshot until you see this.
Click on Gift This App and you're good to go! Happy gifting

Downloading Aussie iPhone App with US iTunes Store

Hello.. I am an American currently living in Australia. We have a US iTunes account since we move around and originate from there. I'm trying to download a free iPhone app from the iTunes store but it is only available in the Australia iTunes store. Does anyone know a work around for pulling a free app from another country's iTunes store into a device synched with the US store?

You'll need to open up a second account in the Australian iTunes Store. If you only want the free iPhone apps, take a look here:

Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is apparently critical.
You will of course not be able to get anything other than the free content without entering in some sort of payment method (credit card, prepaid iTunes card, gift certificate, etc.)

I am able to Gift an App from my iPad and assume it would work similarly on an iPhone. I go into the App detail and at the top right there is an option to "Gift this App". Is this what you want to do? Once you pay for it, It sends a redemption code to the email address of the recipient. They click on it and it installs the app.

I made my own apple id because my family was getting my texts from other people. I want to add my device to my dads find my iphone app on his icloud but can't figure out how, without having to log in to his apple id on my phone. how do i add my device?

I made my own Apple ID because when I was logged into my dad's my family was receiving my texts from other people. I want to add my device to my dad's "find my iphone" app but without signing into his Apple ID on my phone because that was causing them to get my texts. I was told by Apple I could add my device to his by signing into icloud.com but there is no option that I can find to add my device. And I don't want to log back in to his.. Any ideas???

Also when I apply the safety copy it only imports the app the phones have had in common, so none of the apps that only the iPhone 4 had doesn't come in, only the ones I and the iPhone 4 has had in common. So you say the only way I can use the Apple ID to download on the old iPhone 4 is if I delete the apps that are in the phone and then download them again? How will that change the ID to download/update from. Won't it still have mine to update/download from?

IPhone app store downloading problem

I have iPhone app store downloading problem (iOS 5). I could not download or update any software successfully from yesterday. Every app shows "waiting for download" but nothing happen for two days. It seems my app store does not connect to server. I use same account in my iPad, but it works normal. So, what happen to my iPhone? Please help me!

The computer that I had my iphone apps synced to has died and I don't know how to get access to my apps on the new computer. I'm using a Windows pc. I understand that I can only have my apps synced to one computer at a time, but the former pc is dead.

My HP Touchsmart died the other day. My husband works on computers as a hobby and was able to get me up and running on a Dell laptop in no time. I have an iPhone 4s and had all my apps on itunes on my HP. I understand that you can only have your iPhone apps synced to one computer at a time, but what do you do when the computer containing all your info is in unusable condition? I have tried deauthorizing all the computers associated with my account, that did not work. I had this problem once before and finally ( after much blood sweat and tears ) was able to deauthorize the old computer, but it was in working order. Two of the computers that are listed under the iTunes Wi-Fi Sync setting are no longer in use, the HP had my apps synced to it and the other had everything else except my photos, which are on a third computer that is still in use. Please forgive for information overload but am trying to give all the info that I think could be relevant. Your help would be appreciated so much!

If you really want help, stop messing with the fonts and post so that others can read and offer suggestions.
Or better yet... try a search, I'm certain you'll find a solution to whatever issue you're experiencing.

I found an answer to this on another page (I was having the same problem) This worked for me:
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
