IPhone App Update - big Problems installing ITunes again

Hello!
Yesterday I tried to Update to 4.02. ITunes loaded the big Update file with my small bandwidth within 1 hour. After that ITunes told me that the firmware-file was damaged. So I tried it again 3 times. The same.
I uninstalled ITunes, Quicktime, etc. Like a solution on the apple support website displayed. Then I loaded ITunes (64) again (I have Vista x64). The installer displayed that there is an error installing (without any idea what was wrong.
Then I decided to install my PC completly new. After that I installes ITunes again and got the same message. So I installed ITunes 9.0 what worked proper. I thought I could update via ITunes so that I finally have 9.2 installed.
The Updatefile was loaded, but after downloading the Updater sayed: wrong signature of downloaded file. ITunes will not be installed.
Has any of you an idea what this could be? The reason why I wanted to update is that my Iphone doesn't update any apps. It displays that I should connect via ITunes to get the updates.
Sorry for my bad english. I'm from Germany.

it seems that problem is with your computer,
and 'wrong signature of downloaded file' indicates problems
like virus infection, Bad Ram or Hard Disk, or bad internet connection.
so it's better to use another computer and other internet connection.

Please help!!! I had a difficult time unistalling iTunes and Quicktime, but I believe I have done it. But after downloading iTunes upgrade, a license sceen flashes on for a second and I can't get either iTunes or QuickTime to run!!! HT1414 Trying to update new songs to my Iphone but getting "This phone cannot be used because the required software is not installed. Run the Itunes installer to remove Itunes, then install ITunes again". This has not occured previously.

I am trying to add new songs from Itunes to my Iphone but getting the message "This phone cannot be used because the rquired software is not installed. Run the Itunes installer to remove Itunes, then install Itunes again". This is the first time that I have had this issue as I have not had this message in the past. This must be a common thing but I don't what know what to do next. If someone would be kind enough to send me some advice, I would appreciate it.

That error message is usually indicative of a problem with the App Store. If you look through the forums, you'll see that a number of people are experiencing the problem. Try again tomorrow.

This usually means that a required component is missing. Start with completely uninstalling iTunes and all of it's components in the order specified in the article below. Once this is done, download and install iTunes.

I keep getting this error everytime I plug my phone to my computer. "This iPhone cannot be used because the required software is not installed. Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
http://www.rarlab.com/
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, does your device connect without that message now?

(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:

I have installed itunes but get massage coming up saying cannot be used because required software is not installed, run itunes installer to remove itunes, then install itunes again. I have done this but still not able to connect my iphone, ipad or ipod.

After spending another two days on pinning down the iTunes 10.5 blank store page problem, here's the solution to be found: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3372617?start=0&tstart=0
Look out for "japiohelp".
In short:
a) press Windows key + "R", enter "cmd", and press Ctrl+Shift+Enter (= runs as admin)
b) enter "netsh winsock reset" and pres enter
c) reboot the computer

if itunes will not run, you probably have mangled windows badly
one feature of windows 8 is the refresh that saves libraries,
because you are using windows 7, you will need to backup all files to another storage device
