Iphone app update won't go away, now app not working after sync

Using Iphone Appstore to update aurora feint, progress bar gets to 75% then pops up "Unable to Downlaod Application. Aurora Feint The Beginning will be available for download when you log in to the iTunes Stone on your computer.
So I log on to iTunes store download the update, plug in phone and sync goes ok. Unplug phone and the Aurora Feint updater icon is still left on phone, and the Aurora feint app is now gone. So I remove app from phone, resync, update icon still there, I reinstall app, resync, same issue update icon is there, but no app. I have rebooted phone, tried a restore, I can't get rid of Aurora Feint updater on iphone, and I cannot see aurora feint app on iphone.
Is there ANYWAY to manually remove the Aurora Feint Updater from iPhone?????? Everytime I run it I get the same error message.

Ok so if I hold down an icon (in order to move icons around) and press (x) on the installer it went away. Had to then resync and remove app from phone, and then reinstall app back to phone.
That sucked.... had a brain **** about the wiggly remove icon bit. But still I would have thought that the updater and the app would be recognized as two different objects by itunes.....

Syncing with iTunes has nothing to do with this, especially when not syncing contacts with a supported address book app on your computer which very few Windows users seem to be inclined to do.

Iphone Upgraded to 3.1.3 and now its not working

Hi,
I just upgraded few days ago from 3.1.2 to 3.1.3 and now my iphone will not get out of the recovery loop.. I tried the 2 restores using Win7 and the other 2 on a MAC and it will not go out of restore.
Is there a way i can go back to 3.1.2 because it was working fine. I only upgraded because Itunes checked online and there was an upgrade.

Does the restore appear to complete successfully?
Did you run into any issues while following the suggestions in the article that I linked earlier?
If you haven't already, try restoring the iPhone from another computer.
Also, you can make a reservation with a Genius at a local Apple retail store here: http://www.apple.com/ca/retail/geniusbar/. The Genius can generally replace the iPhone on the spot, if there is a hardware issue.

Apps not working after sync

The applications issue where they stop working is still a big problem. It has happened a couple of times for me.
I have noticed that it happens after I sync my phone with my apple computer with iTunes.
Even the Apple application Texas HoldEm stops working.
Has anyone had any luck figuring out a permanent fix for this problem?

And for Apple. You guys definitely screwed the new iPhone up. I and many other people are very disappointed.

I have downloaded a couple free apps from the app store; the first one it took a while, but things were going nutsy and I finally realized it was the application. I eventually had to restore the phone. The I downloaded one or two others only to delete them and restore the phone software again. There is definitely a difference between downloading applications to my computer and then downloading them to my phone where there seems to be more conflicts. I know others who have added apps to their iphone and don't complain about problems! is it the new firmware maybe? But I just spent a bundle on two of these phones, switched my carrier and gave away my verizon phone (I also paid 199 for two years ago) to my son. I want this to work, but I'm already frustrated, losing sleep, and getting nothing else done!!

If you still have access to your old email address, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email account and verify it. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. You can now go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your correct iCloud ID and password.
If you don't have access to your old email address, you will have to contact Apple to have them reset the password so you can disable Find My iPhone and sign into your iCloud account. Hello, I have the same problem but 2 days ago I switched from an iPhone 4 to a 5 so I don't know if is a general issue or related from my iPhone upgrade.

You mean the Apple Mail app? Updated through software Update in the Apple Menu?.
Or maybe you downloaded Mail from another source?
Do you still have Snow Leopard or didn't you update your profile?

Updates won't go away after updating

I have three updates on the App Store which have been downloaded and I have those versions on my computer, but the updates won't go away from the App Store. Aperture 3.1.3 was updated the day it came out, but won't go away. Is there a setting somewhere I am missing? Thanks.

I have a similar problem if someone could please help. In my AppStore I show Angry Birds needs an update. I have never purchased Angry Birds nor do I have an illegal copy. When I click on Update, it tries to have me login with the previous owner of my computer's Apple ID. (I don't know him). I have deleted the plist file for the Appstore from my User Preferences Library and that didn't do anything.
This happens whether I am logged in to the app store or not.
Anyone know a way to get rid of this user and this obviously erroneous Update? I have searched all throughout my computer for any files hidden or not and can't find anything. Thanks in advance.
Oh, and I tried unplugging my external hard drive as well and that didn't do anything.

No Japanese carrier provides unlocking services. Therefore, your phone must have been hacked to unlock it. That hack was removed when you updated the software. You need to be a legitimately unlocked phone.

You installed a hacked app, originally from the Mac App Store. It contains the receipt for a different app, downloaded using an account that you don't control. You need to identify and remove the hacked app.
Important: The app you need to remove is not necessarily the one named in the App Store notice. For example, if the App Store says you need to update "Twitter," the hacked app may be "Angry Birds" or something else entirely. Don't make any assumptions about which app you're looking for. To find it, you have to carry out a systematic search.

Did 8.1.1 update (stupid 1.2 GB) and now phone not working. It give a funny number on My Number

To add further info: iPhone 5s and using CDMA mobile service. I either get no sim card or no service.

Had the same problem as you. App would terminate when launched.
Solution to working You Tube app:
-Go to playstore
- Uninstall app (it doesn't remove the app, only removes the update)
- "Et Voila", working again.
This doesn't correct the problem, it's just a workaround for you to be able to use youtube app again.
