Iphone apps not detected

iTunes has obviously just updated itself. Today when I plugged in my iphone I got an error message that apps could not be detected on my iphone. They are still there on the phone, and iTunes seems to have remembered which ones are on the phone and which ones not, as some have "install" tabs next to them and some have "remove". In the "screen shot" side of the apps tab in iTunes I just have a constant "Loading device....." message and nothing happening.
Thoughts?

Try one or more of the following:
Restart your computer
Uninstall & Reinstall iTunes
Reset iOS or iPod (will not delete everything)
Go to My Computer (Windows XP) OR Computer (Windows Vista or 7) and see if iDevices shows (should show as a digital camera)
Restore iOS or iPod (will delete everything)
Make sure both iTunes and iOS firmware is up to date

I have been having the same issue with the Canon iEPP app not detecting the printer using an iPhone 4S, 5S and iPad Air. I was on the phone with Canon IT support and the devices and apps can communicate with the printer when I type in the printer IP address in the Safari browser.
I have Comcast Xfinity for interner and have a Linksys Wireless-G router.
I tried about 5 different free app which support my Canon MX870 printer and none can detect the printer.
Any suggestions?

Updated iTunes to latest version (10.4.1.10) resulted in computer no longer recognising my iPhone 4. Uninstalled and then reinstalled iTunes, still my iPhone is not detected by iTunes.

Doublechecking. Have you also tried a complete uninstall of both iTunes and all the other related software components and then a reinstall? If not, try the instructions from the following document:

With iOS 6, while playing music on Spotify or playing Candy Crush, etc, if the phone rang and I answered, or if I made a call, once the call was ended, the app I was using would resume. The music would start playing again or the game would resume.
In iOS 7 this isn't working. Listening to music, I answer a call, music stops and when call is ended, nothing! the phone stays on the phone app.
anybody else see this behaviour?

my iphone is suddenly stopped receiving WIFI networks, whenever i am tring to conect to any WiFi network My iphone could not find that networks at all, i tried to find wifi network manually by typing network name but steel my iphone could not detect that network! Even if I'm 2 millimeter from the router it's not recognize any network. i reset network setings but it doesn't work, i upgred my iphone softwere to 3.0.1 but steel no wifi
My iphone is under warrenty its just 6 month old, i had taken this iphone to service center in mumbai (india) [Vodafone Care (century bazar)] they told me that we dont have wifi to check your iphone, you have to submit your iphone for check, and it ll take 10 or more days for serviced your iphone,

Because both iTunes and the version of OS X are too old to support the iPhone 5.
You are going to have to purchase the install DVD for Snow Leopard and then upgrade to it. Once there you will need to update to 10.6.8 and then iTunes 10.7 should install.

I dont have your headset but I would do this;
1. delete (reset) all former connected devices that had been done. Check manual how-to-do
2. after reset, hold the connecting button when searching for devices such as the fruit phone...

I have an iPhone 5. I am trying to pair it to my iPad with Retina Display. However, the devices do not detect each other when trying to pair over Keynote.
My apps and iOS are up-to-date. What is the problem? I have even tried wi-fi. I successfully paired the device to my iMac and it works.

I opened "find iPhone" app on my iPad Mini and my iPhone location is correct, but my iPad Mini is showing up at a past address 2000 miles away on the East coast. I have never even taken this iPad to that address. Any ideas?

You can't.
If its not a universal app, you are stuck with the phone version unless you buy the HD version.
Look for the 2x button on the screen with app open.
