IPhone calendar days out of order in month view.

This has been happening on my iPhone for quite some time and I've not been able to figure out how to change this. When viewing the calendar on my iPhone in "month" view, the days show beginning with Monday. I would like to get it back to the standard week with the days beginning with Sunday. Anyone know how to get this done?
Thanks

Change your region.
Settings > General > International > Region > ...
e.g. UK starts on Monday
e.g. US stars on Sunday

Hi melbernai - not sure if you've solved this problem yet. I had the exact same problem recently with my 2nd Gen iPod Nano. I solved it yesterday by simply updating iTunes to the most recent version, after which I could get rid of the register screen. The only other thing I needed to do to add my custom playlists was select "Manually manage music" on the screen for my iPod, since it had been in an automatic synching mode since the problem occurred.

  • IPhone Calendar wiped out after sync with an empty Outlook 2003 Calendar

    I need some help.
iPhone Calendar wiped out after sync with an empty Outlook 2003 Calendar.
Unable to restore from backup as my iPhone was backed-up before I realised my calendar info was gone.
I found an old backup file in my old disk but was unable to move the old calendar data to the empty outlook after restore. It just keep wiping out after I sync.
    Thanks.

I have managed to find an old back up to restore my iPhone. However even with at least one entry in my outlook, my calendar details on my iPhone was still wiped out and was not transferred to my outlook.

  • Calendar will not display events in month view?

A few days ago my calendar stopped displaying events in the Month view (where I originally entered them). I can see them in the List view, although I cannot edit them. They are also not visible in the Day view.
Moreover at the top of the screen where there would normally be a  "+" button to add events and a "calendar" button to view different calendars there is nothing. Only a heading that says "All Calendars" - however I can't find anywhere in settings to view different calendars if I want. Any ideas?

    Well....
If you find all the .ics files in ~/Library/Calendars/Events
And then copy them out of ~/Library
You can import them back into Calendar .... One .... At ..... A ..... Time ......
Why, Oh Why, did I ever think I wanted to try iCloud?

  • IPhone - ICAl - Days of week order

For a while I had 1 Ical synched with my iphone. The days of week started with Sunday. I now have 4 Icals set up and all start with Sunday which is set via my ICAL Pref. On mobile me, my calendars start with Sunday. For some reason, my phone starts with Monday and I have not figured out how to change. Any ideas? Appreciated.

On your iPhone, go to Settings > General > International. What do you have selected for Region Format?
If you are in the U.S. and you want the days of the week to start with Sunday with the Month view, you should have United States selected for your Region Format.

  • Have updated to iOS 7.1 and now find Calendar is out of sync to months ie April only changes to May at 19 th of May same for each month

Have updated iPad to new iOS 7.1 and now find that the calendar is out of sync with the months for example today is the 8th April when in month view I move to look at or enter in May it says at April heading until I pass the 19th of May , the same applies now to all months , when I look back at Feb it's is only showing all month as January , can any one help or know the answer to this it's only happened this last week I am away in USA and updated about a week ago.

That is still showing April until the 19th passes and then it is May.
Select a date in that week (the 20-26) hold finger to add new appt, Notice the day that appears.
It changes because now may is past the center area.

  • Icloud calendar not on correct day when in Week or Month view

Hi icloud calendar highlights a day behind, I almost forgot to pay a bill due as calendar was showing yesterdays date highlighted when viewed in Week or Month view! and assumed the bill was due tomorrow but of course it's due today!
It's correct when it displays the DAY, but not week or month. (In week or month view ithighlights the Tuesday) How can I get ical to show the correct date and highlight this?
For the record I assume its becasue I live in NZ and are ahead of the US. Since all my computers and phones etc automatically change and display ot the date correctly, how come this calendar in icloud doesn't?
I'm logging on through a mac at work which has todays (Wednesday 11th April) set fine, but when I view the ical in it's month or week view, it highlights today as being Tuesday! Is this a bug or is there a fix?
    cheers

I fixed the issue myself, by editing my name on the icloud initial page. Changed the time setting from Pacific to New Zealand. This appears to have solved the issue for me. Who new it was in there?

  • Calendar in mobile browser not showing month view

I have a Calendar. I looked under Modify This View, and got the web address for this mobile view. When I bring up this url in a browser on an ipad/iphone, the calendar doesn't display in Month view. It only shows one day. very strange view. and only gives
me the option to go to the previous day or the next day.   I tried Safari browser and Chrome browser.  same issue.
How can I customize my calendar in sharepoint so that it will show the same month view on a mobile browser as the same month view that I see on SharePoint on computer?
    Please help!
    Thanks!

    Hi Iorrdellatorre,
Open your site in the iphone->at the bottom of the iphone, click ellipsis->then you can choose switch to pc view.
Now you can navigate to the calendar list, and you can see the month view.
Or in the web.config (located at C:\inetpub\wwwroot\wss\VirtualDirectories\80) under system.web, add this:
    <browserCaps>
    <result type="System.Web.Mobile.MobileCapabilities, System.Web.Mobile, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a"/>
    <filter>isMobileDevice=false</filter>
    </browserCaps>
Besides, here is a blog about three options to disable the SharePoint 2010 mobile redirect, you can take a look at:

    Hi,
OMG! How bizzarre, another quirk of the "Region Fortmats" setting.
*Settings > General > International > Region Format*
If I set mine to U.K. (where I happen to live), Monday is apparently the first day of the week on the calendar and I have no 12/24 hour clock option.
If set to U.S., Sunday is the first day and the 12/24 hour clock option is available.
I guess changing the Region is your answer.
How odd! Not to say irritating.

  • Calendar - March 2013 not viewable in monthly view

Calendar crashes if I attempt to view March 2013 when in month view. Can see individual weeks but this is very inconvenient,
Other iPad users confirm same for them.
    Any help

Try removing any all-day events from the calendar for the 1st April 2013 e.g. if you are syncing the calendar from somewhere else (e.g. Outlook on a PC or iCal/Calendar on a Mac) then change it to a timed event instead of all-day - it seems that there is a problem with all day events on that date which is when the clocks change due to daylight saving.

  • All day event not appearing in month view

If I know there is an all day event on a day and I click into it from month view it is there. But for some reason I cannot see any of them from moth view. There is no colored or gray bar indicating an event.
There is one in week view. And if there is a timed event it appears in month view.
In a separate, and puzzling, event I lost all my events. Putting them back in, but not sure if this happened with 1.4 or new Facebook update.

There is an old thread on this issue. Its by design that all day events do not show up in month view and not a bug. Many users (myself included) would like this to change. I suggest using the feedback and feature request page to let them know.

  • Outlook 2010 Calendar - Number of weeks displayed in Month view

Is there any way to change the default number of weeks (6) that are displayed in the Month view?  On wide screens it leaves very few lines able to be viewed per day.  I know I can change the number temporarily by highlighting the number
of weeks I want in the smaller month view in the To-Do Bar, but that view doesn't persist.  I also know that I can minimize the ribbon.
I my old Outlook 2003 the default was 5 weeks which was at least a bit better.

The real answer is given: No, this is not configurable as it depends on how many weeks a month spans; rarely this is 4 weeks, most often this is 5 weeks, sometimes this is 6 weeks. It is called the "'Month" view, not the "4-weeks view" or anything like
    that.
Your feature request is of course valid and to submit it as such, it is best to contact Microsoft Support by phone. You may need to provide credit card information to open a case but it of course won't be charged for a feature request. You'll get a reference
ID so you can track the status of your request.
You may want to refine your request with a business case as well and give a clear example of what you want it to look like and what exactly should be configurable.
For instance, the default Multi-Week View should show; last week, this week and the next 2 weeks.

  • One File Out of Order in List View

Okay, this is driving me insane - it's probably something simple that I'm overlooking, but I just can't figure it out. I imported a 17 disc audio book to put on my mother's iPod for her, and for some reason one of the book's subfolders w/i the iTunes music folder is out of order when sorted by file name in list view in the Finder, as can be seen here:
    http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2002-9/54100/FileListPic.jpg
When first imported, the default names of all the files began with "Don_T", except the problem one (Disc 14), which formatted itself more correctly as "Don't". Thinking that this might be causing the "disorder", I changed all the rest to "Don't" as well, but no dice - Disc 14 refused to move from b/w Discs 6 and 7. I couldn't see any extraneous spaces or strange characters, but to make sure I copied all but the number from the file name of another disc in the set and pasted it into 14's name, but still no change. I even tried fixing my permissions and restarting, just in case, but that didn't help either.
I'm sure this weirdness won't make a difference when loading the audio book onto the iPod, but it's making me nuts that I can't figure out how to get the stupid thing to move!
Any help to prevent my imminent cranial explosion would be much appreciated!
(Possibly) Relevant Info: G4 iMac running 10.3.9, iTunes library lives on an external FW drive, all discs imported w/ iTunes 6.0.2 as 128kbps MP3s
    G4 iMac   Mac OS X (10.3.9)
    G4 iMac   Mac OS X (10.3.9)

Rename the file without using copy/paste.....using the keyboard only.

  • TS1702 iPad calendar won't show March in month view.

I'm flicking through the months on my calendar app and when I get to March 2013 the app closes, doesn't matter if I'm going from Feb forward or April back. Day or week view works ok.  I have an iPad 2 wi-fi only running iOS 6.1, it,s all up to date. I've tried a friend's iPad 2 with wi-fi and 3G and that has the same problem.
Has anybody else come across this? Is there a simple solution or do we need Apple to come up with an update?

I'm replying to my own question! Found the answer in "similar questions". It's down to having all day events on April 1st which in some parts of the world is the beginning of daylight saving time. I made the Easter Monday start at 01:00 and finish at 23:55. Did the trick!
Apparently the system can't handle the fact that April 1st is only 23 hours in some places! Needs sorting really.
