IPhone calendar does not sync new events and appointments from Outlook

iTunes 9.2.0.61/iPhone 4.0.1 - does not sync newly added events and appointments! Previously added stuff is all there, new stuff added in Outlook 2007 just doesn't show up. I've gone back to my old Palm T|X which syncs all this stuff with no problem, so it's not an Outlook bug.
It looks like Apple has put a team of junior programmers on the Calendar app - I've seen leap-year bugs (still there), events showing up on the wrong day (still there), and I'm still waiting for the "week at a glance" view. Calendar is SO important for business use that top level "gray beard" engineers need to be on this. (Question for Apple's calendar developers: what's Zeller's Congruence? It they haven't heard of it they have no business doing calendar programming.)

Spontaneously started syncing again - no idea why now, nor why it failed for so long. Related to the alarm bug? Who knows...

When i sync calendars, the info i typed in my iphone calendar does not sync to my computer?  Info from my ical from the computer does sync to my iphone...Am i missing something?

Thanks for the reply but when I do this my default calendar options are 'From My Mac' or 'iCloud'.  If I try to select a calendar I can only select one of them.  So, if I select Calendar I can only get a check mark beside one feature, calendar, home, or work.  I am stumped.  I can add events on the Mac and then will sync to the phone but not the other way.  That sounds like settings to me but I have toggled everything I can think of.

  • Putting info on my iPhone calendar does not sync with my iMac unless I plug it into my iMac

putting info on my iPhone calendar does not sync with my iMac unless I plug it into my iMac.  It did when I first bought iPhone, how can I sync automatically?

Could be a bunch of reasons. Do you have icloud setup on both devices? Can you give us more details of your setup? Make sure you have the calendar set to sync in the icloud system settings. Also make sure you are set to sync said calendar. I was checking my settings and realized that you may or may not be using icloud for calendaring. On your phone in settings/mail, contacts, calendars/ you have the ability to select what and which calendars you want to sync. Make sure it is configured appropriately.

My Iphone 4 Calendar is not syncing with icloud and my PC - help

If calendar events on your iPhone do not appear in your calendar on icloud.com, go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar and make sure you have selected an iCloud calendar as your default, and not something else like On My iPhone, Gmail, Yahoo or and exchange account.

  • Iphone calendar does not sync with OUTLOOK 2013

iphone 4 calendar does not sync with OUTLOOK 2013 calendar. Can anyone help?  Iphone [Apple] will not provide support

Why won't Apple provide support? Do you mean free support if your iPhone is no longer under warranty if the AppleCare extended warranty was purchased for your iPhone, or if the initial 90 days of free telephone support after the purchase date has expired? If you no longer have free telephone support, free support is provided at an Apple Store if there is one nearby.

  • IPhone calendar does not sync to my Mac Pro

Events entered on my iPhone 5 calendar do not sync to  iCal on my Mac Pro.  Events entered on iCal on the desktop are synced properly onto my iPhone.  I have Sync Calendars, All Calendars  checked in the info tab in iTunes.  I have tried restarting, repairing permissions, searching for unseen preferences ... but I can't find anything.
I'm on iOS 7 and Mountain Lion.  This all worked fine last week when I was still running 10.6.8 and iOS

The calendar on my imac does not sync with my iphone

Are you trying to sync via iTunes? If so, note that since the release of Mavericks (OS X 10.9) syncing contacts and calendars to a Mac via iTunes is no longer supported. The currently supported method is via iCloud. http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/

  • 2.1 iPhone Calendar does not sync with iCal

iPhone 3G 2.1, MacbookPro Leopard 10.5.5, iTunes 8.0 all upgraded this week.
Now, entries that I make from the iPhone will not sync to the iCal, however, entries from iCal syncs to the iPhone just fine. I tried restoring to stock Apple's 2.1 ipsw but it fails to restore every time so I'm stuck with the Pwnaged one I made using Apple's stock 2.1 ipsw and Pwnage 2.1.
Anyone experiences this problem with stock 2.1 or Jailbroken 2.1 ?
Or could it be 10.5.5.'s iCal problem ? (the rss symbol next to my first calendar on iCal is substituted with a warning sign
, and if clicked shows this error: Request encountered an unexpected error (domain AYFTPErrorDomain / code 530).)

    Ok,
I figured it out. It is not a bug after all. Somehow I got duplicate calendars in my iCal from multiple backups, so by deleting the duplicates, the original ones appear. So the items been syncing all along, but I just didn't get to see it, since I was looking at the duplicate calendar.

  • Calendar does not sync ALL events

    Using Outlook 2007.
Some events do not sync to the iPhone. I cannot see the difference between those that do sync and those that don't.
Has anyone else seen this? Any fix?

Also, all my Outlook Calendar events, which have sinc'd automatically in the past are now gone and there are no events on my phone calendar whatsoever. I have not changed any settings.

Hi varunj and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums!
From the BlackBerry® PlayBook™ Calendar, swipe down from the top to see the Options bar.  Make sure each of the calendars, displayed in the top left, have a check mark in them.  If a check mark is not showing, the calendar items will be hidden.  Touch the calendar icon to add or remove the check mark.
    Thanks.

    Solutions?

No, I never really found an easy solution.  I believe it is an issue with some corruption in the iTunes database on the specific device.  In my case, both my iPad and iPhone now show duplicate stream songs if viewed through iTunes on my Mac, but they show different songs.  A couple years ago I had a similar issue on my iPhone, and Apple support suggested I back up the phone, completely reset it, and then restore it from the backup.  It did work, so I imagine it would probably work for my current issues with the iPhone and iPad.  But resetting and restoring an iPad or iPhone always makes me a little nervous that something will get lost.  When I did reset/restore the iPhone, I do have to say, the restore process was 100% perfect and I did not lose any data at all even though Apple support said I might.  If you try to go that route, I would suggest backing the device up both to a computer through iTunes, and to the iCloud so that you have a double backup.
None of this really resolves the issue with how the iTunes databases are becoming corrupted on the apple devices though, so it is very likely to happen again until they fix it.  I have been unable to determine if there were any specific actions or conditions which caused the corruption to happen in the first place.
Might be worth another call to Apple support, or dropping in the local Apple store if you have one near by.

Since installing mavericks, my computer calendar does not sync with my iPhone and iPad calendars.  My iPhone and iPad are synced however.  What can I do to make all of my mac devices sync

You don't sync the MM calendar anymore, you subscribe to it in iCal,
    iCal>Preferences>Accounts, enter the details here.
MM should be the default calendar on all clients.
