IPhone Calendar issue, I just do not understand why!!!
I am not sure if anyone from Apple actually read these threads, but I find it quite odd, that with all the advancements the new OS has, that custum coloring a calendar can not be added. I am submitting two screen shots and as you can see multiple calendars representing different items were colored the same. This is not really what I was intending.

Please try and make a custum set of colors available, I am thinking that 6 colors would be ok a good minimum. Does everyone in iPhone land agree or disagree and where can I write to apple for this request?

This is a nice idea, BTW. Those of us lucky enough to be Mac users at least get to set the colour on the desktop - I don't know how to do this in Windows

The photos that I better (improves automatic) are saved on the iphone, but when I transfer them to my PC improvements appear no more, only on iphone. I do not understand why the improvements are just the iphone, and not continue when I transfer the photos to my PC.
Thanks.Chicky, I have searched my computer for "iPod Photo Cache" and 51 folders pop up, plus 3 files (iPodInfo.plist, Photo Database and Image DB Temp.tmp). How do I know which to delete and which to keep? The Apple website page tackling this issue doesn't go into any detail. Thanks yet again.

I bought the iphone 5 has not been one week do not understand why the home key of the time activities at stops working, not crash or fall. hope its help, probably due to software, not hardware failure, what do I do now?
Restore iPhone with current iTunes on computer. See if better. If still problem, make Genius reservation or set up Service and take or send to Apple for resolution. Of if easier for you, take receipt and iPhone, box and everything and return to where you bought it.

I want to use QuickBooks for my very small bussiness, the recommendation from my accountant was QuickBooks (Windows). I just do not understand enough to decide whether to buy QuickBooks for Apple or Windows and use it in the Parallels world?
QuickBooks for Mac has been available again since at least 2004 (Intuit before that had done nothing with it for years). The current version is QB for Mac 2014. It's pretty much the same price no matter where you look.
The Mac version data is not directly compatible with the Windows version. Sending your data out to your business tax accountant and getting it back in is not at all easy. It's such a pain, our accountant comes here to finalize the books at year end.
There is still also a lot of Windows features for QB Pro which have never been added to the Mac version. They're all on the higher end side that larger businesses would need. I've never run into anything with the Mac version I couldn't do.
If your accountant wants ease of data transfer, then you'd be better off purchasing Snow Leopard Server and run that in Parallels. Then run the Windows version of QB in that. -

The iPhone's backup is in a SQLite database format. You can't view your iPhone's calendar data from your iPhone's backup.
Do you have an Apple iCloud account along with syncing your calendar events over the air with the account on your iPhone?
If so, do you have Outlook available on your PC? -
I am not allowed to sign in with my Apple ID on iTunes Connect when I am trying to publish my book in iBooks Author. I do not understand why because I have fulfilled the first steps creating an account and informed my IRS tax number...
The recommendation is always to make another ID for use with a paid books account. And while I can't swear this is at the root of your issue, you should in any case reach out to Apple for assistance on this one, I think.

When i make several enquires on the iPhone 6 purchase and I don’t understand why Apple locked my ichat now ?How can I make unpleased remark as I am an Apple supporter, my family own 2 macbook, 3 iPhone 5S and 2 iPad. I am having to recreate my itunes library and do not understand why prior album artwork appeared in my older library but not the new library? Is there some way to scan itunes for missing album artwork?
do you have a strongly recommended default "managed" library (the iPhoto preference to "copy imported items to the iPhoto library is in its checked state) or a referenced library - you have unchecked that option?
It sounds like you have a referenced library and are now experiancing one of the very siginificant drawbacks of a referenced library and one of the many reasons they are strongly not recommended
Also note that iPhoto '11 may use alises in the originals folder as part of the upgrade
It is important that we understand exactly what you have and what is not sorking - what error messages you are getting
You must NEVER make any changes of any sort to the structure of content of the iPhoto library - there are no user servicable parts in it -- and you can not rebuild yoru librtary - only iPhoto ir iPhoto Library Manager - http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/ - can rebuild a library unless you are a SQL programmer and understand the structure that iPhoto uses

Iphone calendar issues in list view
Hi can anyone help.
I have two iphones both 3G on a 8gb one a 16gb. Both are synced via mobileme to ICAL which contains 4 different calendars.
ONe the 16gb everything works fine. On the 8gb the list view has become corrupted so that it splits events into different days when on same day and also assigns spurious dates e.g. 2031 etc... the view on day or month are correct. I've hard rebooted several times. Deleted calendar from sync and aslo done a system restore from itunes. to no avail.
any ideas?I have the same problem too. Used iPhone for a year just syncing with my Mac via iTunes and no problems but have had some weird issues now I've started using mobile.me - most of which I seem to have gotten through ...except this latest one! Everything is fine in Day & Month views but in List the events straddle the days - i.e. my later ones today appear in tomorrow's list and so on down the line!

Just started using illustrator and do not understand why i cannot fill this trace
alright so i have my image that i have traced, its all chucnked up into groups (hair, eyes, etc...) but if i try to select say the hair and try to fill it, it does it really bad

i do not understand what important piece of information i missed, i thought i could just trace something and fill in the colors, apparently its not that simple.
this programs works in shapes right? i dont get why that even though everything looks closed off, and is connected to my knowledge, i cant get it to fill
(at least correctly)
cuz it feel like could do this in flash in no time, but i'd like to do this kind of work using programs that are specifically designed for it.

The tracing results in separate paths. The straight lines show where the open filled paths start and end.
In the first sample, you may drag with the Direct Selection Tool over the top where the straight lines meet and Ctrl/Cmd+J to join the the paths; you may do the same elsewhere to create continuous/closed paths (hopefully, you will only drag over the two endpoints, otherwise you will have to find and delete superfluous Anchor Points).
This may be better than just cheating with the Live Paint Tool because the artwork becomes more coherent.

I'm having problems with syncing my iphone calendar to my ipad, but not the other way around
My iPhone 5 will not sync with my iPad calendar. If I make any changes or add an appointment on my iPhone it will not sync to either iCloud or my iPad, however if I add or change an appointment on my iPad or iCloud it will update my iPhone calendar. I've read where other's are having the same problems but haven't read anyone's post of where a solution has helped. Anyone??

Are you certain that the computer does not see the iPhone? By default the iTunes Sidebar is off, so maybe turn Sidebar on and see if your iPhone is listed.
Other questions:
What OS was on your old computer and now the new one?
Did you copy over your "iTunes Library.itl" file from the external drive to the new computer? -
My MacBook Pro with Retina display suddenly gave me a message when I boot up ie 'Your startup Disk is full' then after using a few more times, the screen suddenly become frozen white. Upon getting help, I managed to delete some files but when I checked the Storage space, the largest occupied space was orange color, named 'Others' which is more than 100 GB out of the total 120 GB!! I am surprised and do not understand what 'Others' mean. It is definitely not Audio, Video, Pictures, documents etc It is not mail too. If anyone can tell me what 'Others' in storage mean and how to see the contents of 'Others' so that I can delete those irrelevant files. Any advice and guidance is very much appreciated.
