IPhone Calendar Snooze App

Does anyone know of an app where I can snooze the calendar alarm that pops up on my iPhone instead of openning the calendar event and changing the alarm time? It really surprises me that this is not built in. TIA

As this forum is for users just like you and Apple does not read, please post to the feedback link previously provided. Posting here will not get any word to Apple.
Very good idea for the calendar app. It would be nice.

I have additional premium calendars that I've purchased on my iPhone and show on iPhone calendar that do not show on my iPad calendar.  I've restored purchases, rebooted, etc., but still do not see events on my iPad.
Any thoughts on how to get the events on my phone to sync to my iPad?

AFAIK...  In-App purchases require a Credit Card associated to your account.

  • ICal on Mac Pro will not sync to iPhone calendar

iCal-to-iPhone calendar sync seems to be busted. If I create an event on iCal on my Mac Pro (running OS X, 10.7.5), the Calendar app on my iPhone 4s (Model A 1387, running iOS 7.0.4) will not show it.
It used to sync fine, using either WiFi or plug-in. Now? Nada. Not Wi-Fi. Not via direct plug-in. The phone calendar remains undisturbed by any of my attempts to keep up-- which pretty much defeats much of its purpose. I've seen many posts on this subject, but I have not noticed my particular issue: that an iPhone that used to sync flawlessly now won't sync at all. The only variables are version upgrades in OS X and iOS. Any ideas?

    Hey McDougal,
Were you syncing direct with iTunes or going via iCloud?
Changes in iOS 7 means that there is no longer an 'info' tab in iTunes to sync your calendar there so you have to use iCloud.

  • Issue with iPhone Calendar sync

My office uses MS Exchange account (Outlook) for emails & calendar. I use Google Calendar Sync app to sync my outlook calendar events to my personal gmail calendar (1-way sync: Outlook to Google). Everything was fine until I bought the iPhone 4S. Apparently, when I open any event on the iPhone Calendar app, it automatically Accepts the invitation and sends a Accept notification to the meeting organizer & my personal gmail address is being added into the Attendees list of the organizer. So when I open any appointment on my iPhone to even read it, it sends a notification from my personal account to an office colleague or worse, to a business customer. Is there a way for iPhone to stop accepting or declining meetings & simply show my calendar items whatever status they are in. As I sync regularly, I want my iPhone calendar to display the exact information which is in my Outlook calendar and do nothing else.

This sounds just like the problem I am having since downloading the latest version of i-Tunes. Initially i-tunes wasn't recognised so after reinstalling i-Tunes and it's 5 other associated programmes I found that there was a cmpatability isuue (Right click i-tunes icon and go to compatability tag) Once this was sorted my Outlook calendar would not sync with my i-phone. 2 weeks later I am told it is because I have Outlook 2002 and need to upgrade. Frustrating as it worked ok before the latest upgrade.

  • I am trying to sync my iphone 4. Get error :"itunes cannot sync apps to the iphone because the apps installed on the iphone cannot be determined"

I wanted to sync my iphone 4 (cdma).  I have synced it before successfully.  I am getting an error "itunes cannot sync apps to the iphone because the apps installed on the iphone cannot be determined" and the apps and items follwoing apps in syncing (photos for example) will not sync. Items prior to apps synced (calendar/contacts).  I restarted both my iphone (currently on ios 4.2.8) and my computer, itunes was on 10.6.1, same problem.  I installed itunes 10.6.3, same problem.  I had been waiting to update ios to 5.1.1 and would like to do that now, but wanted to sync first.  Anyone have any ideas?  I am stumped!  Thank you.

  • Syncing iphone calendar with yahoo mail

    Hi,
I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to sync my iphone calendar with my yahoo calendar. I use att yahoo for my email and prefer to continue doing so. I have an old version of Outlook with no calendar. Short of buying a new version of Outlook for my computer, is there any solutions? I don't understand why this shouldn't be possible since I can get Yahoo mail on my iphone. Would Mobile Me do that?

Sjazbec, I have to disagree based on experience. Since activatingiCloud on my iPhone 4 (updated to IOS 5) and the mail app on my newiMac (running LION) last Tuesday, NONE of my email shows up in theyahoo inbox via the mail app on my iphone. ALL of my email is visiblefrom the yahoo website page through Safari. NONE of the mail sent frommy iPhone appears in the Sent folder on Yahoo.
Until last Tuesday, none of this happened with my iPhone 4.
Onmy iPhone, I went to Settings->iCloud and deleted my iCloud account(option available if you scroll all the way down) completely, andvoila, lo and behold, instantly, all my email since Tuesday magicallyappears in my inbox.
I admit it's likely I have noconcept as to how iCloud is supposed to work. Of course, I bought bothLion and IOS5 and neither came with any explanation.

  • Why doesn't my iPhone calendar sync with my Mac-neither ICloud or USB connections work.

My iPhone calendar will not sync with my MacPro either by iCloud or USB connection.

Let's compare the settings on the Mac, I'm also using iCal on my MacBook Pro OSX10.9.5.
iCal/Settings/Accounts -> iCloud CalDAV selected and activated, set to "push"
    On the phone:
Settings/Mail, contacts, calendars: Syncing all events in calendar.
And in calendar app "iCloud"->"All calendars" selected.
I have no calendars selected in "On my iPhone"
Are you also syncing contacts via iCloud? If yes, does it work between the Mac and iPhone?

  • ICal To-Do's and the iPhone Calendar

Why is it that at this stage of development, Apple has yet to offer a solution to manage and sync iCal to-do's with the iPhone Calendar? Am I missing something? It seems obvious that Apple is giving third party developers the opportunity to write the many wonderful To-Do apps out there, and there are many. The problem is, this doesn't fix the problem of sync-ability. I know that there are ways to sync between these third party apps and things such as their own desktop software (Things), which will then sync to to iCal. There are others that will sync to Google Calendar and/or Google Docs, but this is hardly a simple solution. There are always complications when you start syncing too many things to too many places, as the software doesn't always line up pretty.
I'm basically just looking for a simple solution to use iCal, my iPhone Calendar and a To-Do function that will sync seamlessly with both. The most natural thing would be for Apple to include To-Do creation in the iPhone Calendar app with full sync capability with iCal. I find it shocking that Apple hasn't written for this.
There are nice applications out there such as Pocket Informant that integrates a beautiful (and much more powerful calendaring function) with a To-Do function within the same application, but they have no ability to sync with iCal, nor do they have a desktop version of their software.
If anyone has any ideas on this, or advice on the best way to integrate iCal, To-Do's and the iPhone Calendar, please let me know. In the meantime, I will post feedback to the Apple developers with a seemingly obvious enhancement request.

With all due respect, I completely disagree with you. Integrating To-Do's and calendar events is a very natural way of organizing things. There is an app called Pocket Informant which does a very nice job in integrating the two. Even Apple thinks they are (and could be related), or else why even include to-do's in iCal to begin with? You see, it is as if they went half way in their effort. They provide something because they think it could be a good idea, but then they put no time or effort into actually making it useful for the end user. The fact that to-do's and notes show up in mail is also pointless. Why do I need mail to see my to-do's on my computer when I could just look in iCal, which is where they were created in the first place.
Omni focus is a very powerful app. I just think that it is way overkill. What good is an app that helps you get things done, when using it actually impedes getting those things done? It literally takes so much time and effort to work with Omni (if you really want to use it correctly), that you don't have any time left over for the things you need to get done.
And by the way, don't talk about hourly rates when you use words like "Gentlements", "prolly" (for, I am assuming probably", "proccess" (there is one c) "offence" (it is offense, unless you are from the UK, which I am assuming you are not), to name a few. Anyway, spelling aside, you shouldn't really be judging what people make based on whether someone thinks an app is expensive. The fact is, Omni focus happens to be very expensive. I am not saying that it is not worth it. In fact, I really don't know. I know that it is powerful, but for someone looking for a simple way to manage the important tasks in life, Omni is not for everyone, especially when you are spending upwards of $80 when something like Put Things Off (which I like a lot better) costs around $3.

  • Syncing iphone calendar with windows calendar

I am trying to sync my iphone calendar with my windows calendar, but in itunes under info and "sync calendars with", it only gives me the option to sync with outlook. Any help would be appreciated.

    Allan Sampson wrote:
Microsoft copied Google and now supports accessing a Hotmail or Windows Live Mail account as an Exchange account with the iPhone's Mail app. This provides Push access for received messages and for syncing contacts and calendar events over the air with the account on your iPhone.
For syncing calendar events direct with an application on your computer via the iTunes sync process, you need Outlook 2003, 2007, or 2010.
I understand your second statement about the needing Outlook - but I'm trying to reconcile it with your first paragraph - there is support for calendar events over the air between Windows Live and iPhone? So it can be done, just not physically through syncing via iTunes?

  • IPhone calendar sync w Windows 8 Outlook 2013

I am using the Outlook 2013 calendar.  I want my iPhone to sync up with this Outlook 2013 client-(not cloud) based calendar, but during an iTunes sync, it seems to pick up the Win8 Calendar app instead.
Any advice?  I'm at my wit's end.
    Thanks
(and yes, I shoulda bought a Mac...)

OK, my wonderful husband figured this out.   He tapped the iPhone calendar app, then the button called "calendars" in the upper lefthand corner, and got a screen that lists the calendars that should show. He clicked only on the "From My PC" calendar, and left the others unclicked.
The root of my problem, IMHO, is that MS Win8 has a horrible calendar app that won't even sync with the MS Outlook Client calendar.  The Win8 cloud-based calendar app does a really sloppy job on timezones -  an event doesn't even have a visible "timezone" designation.  That's why I couldn't use it.
On the other hand, what did expect buying Win8?

  • Odd iPhone Calendar Behavior With CSV Calendar Dates After 3.1

In April I downloaded the Chicago Cubs schedule as a CSV file and imported it into Outlook. The dates synced to my (and my wife's) 3G phones via MobileMe and we were good to go. Yesterday I did the same with the Chicago Bears schedule, and just noticed that BOTH the Bears games AND the Cubs games are showing five hour late on our iPhone calendars (i.e., today's 3:15 CDT Bears game shows an 8:15 p.m. CDT start time on our phones). This appears to have happened after upgrading to 3.1. The times are correct in Outlook, and they are also correct on the calendar at mobileme.com.
FWIW, I factory reset my phone this week and started over (did not restore the backup) in a failed attempt to correct the numerous 3.1 issues. I also verified that both phones have the correct timezone settings in BOTH locations in settings, and also confirmed the time zone settings in my PC and at mobileme.com. I also tried setting a normal (not imported from a CSV file) appointment in Outlook to test this problem, and both phones report the correct start time.

I'm seeing the same instability with the calendar app. I first noticed all my mobile me calendars were gone so I backed up my iCal on my desktop and then synced the desktop with mobile me which took a few tries. This restored my iPhone calendar but it's been buggy ever since. I'm going to try a restore and if that doesn't help I'll go back to syncing through iTunes. I've also noticed some lag and crashes with other apps (apple & third party) since the 3.1 upgrade.

  • Time Zones not correctly converted in iPhone Calendar

Problem with recurring meetings that were scheduled by a meeting organizer in a different time zone than my "home" time zone (as configured on the iPhone time zone support).
I am unable to sync or connect directly to my corporate Exchange Calendar due to strict corporate security settings. However, I am able to publish my calendar from Outlook 2007 to the internet. I am publishing my calendar to Office Live. I can then subscribe to my Office Live calendar from the iPhone (3Gs iPhone OS 3.1). Single occurrence meetings seems to translate time zone information fine. In all cases (single or recurring from any time zone) show up fine when I view them via Office Live and/or Outlook 2007.
The problem is the recurring meetings that were originally scheduled in a different (than my "home" time zone that I have configured on my iPhone Calendar time zone support settings) are showing up in the iPhone Calendar incorrectly. A meeting scheduled for 10:00 AM CST is showing up in my iPhone at 10:00 AM PST instead of 08:00 AM PST. I tried turning off time zone support on the iPhone but it didn't make any difference. I believe that setting is really only for meetings scheduled from the iPhone. The setup I described above is a read-only setup from an iPhone perspective.
Interesting that single occurrence meetings work fine... Is this just a bug in the iPhone Calendar app or issue with the way Microsoft represents time zones in recurring meetings?
I should also note that the iPhone Calendar also appears to have problems when a single occurrence of a recurring meeting is changed as well.

How about putting together the information about this nasty bug at a single place in this forum?
