Iphone can not find time zone automatically (facetime, imessage)
Hi all,
I am using my old iphone 4 like a ipod, only for imessage, music, and facetime...
but after adding other apple ID on it, Imessege and facetime are not working properly. I deleted one of IDs and tried but still not working. After serious research on this kind of issues, I found time zone is not able to set up automatically and I think this is the key factor.
Does anybody know this issue?
Maybe the FT app or s/w part was omitted from the iPhones sold in SaudiArabia when you purchased them.
But,
I have an iPhone5 bought in the US.
Currently I am in Saudi Arabia and I use FaceTime everyday to talk to my girlfriend.
In India I found that FT does not work when on 3G, it works only over WiFi.
But to my delight, in Saudi Arabia FT works on 3G as well.
Then, a month ago, I bought a new iPhone5 for my friend in India.
FT was available on the phone and we used it in India.
As I did not open the box in SaudiArabia, I am not sure if FT on the phone I purchased in Riayadh works in Riyadh.
Iam pretty sure that FT work on phones being sold in Riyadh now-a-days.

I have the same issue. Yesterday I could connect to my wifi just fine, but today I turned on my wifi and the wheel just spins and spins. I restart my phone and I get the "greyed out" wifi switch. So I restart, and I'm back to square one. The wheel just keeps spinning.
I've updated the router firmware, I've power cycled everything multiple times, and still nothing.
Can anyone give a real solution? Or do we just have to suffer until apple update this **** IOS6? -

What am I doing wrong. My Iphone can not find my wireless router and I know, that I write the password correctly, when it's asking for it.
It comes back with the message: Can not establish connection to router.
Please help me.

Mine worked fine and then I begun to notice that the wifi had dropped. I initially could reconnect in wifi settings but now it says 'not connected' and is stuck in a loop of looking for a wifi but not ever finding one.
I have tired rebooting and reset network settings, I even bought a new up to date router. The router powers another iphone in the house asn various outher apple gadgets like ipads so I doubt the router is at fault.
I am begining to suspect a hardware problem, I hope not as it is out of warranty
Any ideas? -
IPhone will not find Time Capsule Wifi network?
recently updated my phone to the latest and greatest, but now it will not find my Time Capsule wifi network... even when standing right next to the capsule itself.
this does not seem to be a problem with an old base station... just the time capsule has disappeared off of the phone's network list. my macbook pro and apple tv continue to function normally... only the phone that is acting up.
anyone have any ideas?No immediate thoughts other than when I synced my iPhone with my Mac, which was set up to connect to the TC, the iPhone seems to be configured with all the right settings as if they had migrated across.
Perhaps try a resync ? -
TS1398 iPad and iPhone can not find AirPrint on my network
Both my iPad and iPhone are connected to my home Air Extreme Network. However, when I try to print something from either of these devices I get an error message telling me it connot find the airprinter??? Any thoughts?
ThanksMy printer is a HP DeskJet 970 Cse. It works great with my iMac and Mac Book Pro on my Air Extreme Network. I must admit I had a time getting it to work. this Apple computer system can be a lot more user friendly if you ask me. All devices are Apples and I have to do a dick dance to get everything to work together!!! That is BS!!
But I don't want to sit here and rant. do you have any idea how to get my iPad and iPhone to print on my system? -

How do you connect iphone4 to hp cm1415fnw color mfp using air print. Printer works via airprint from laptop using windows. iPhone can not find printer..
check if your phone and printer are updated to the latest version.

I can not find Facetime sitting in my Iphone 5c. I tried all the steps mentioned in Apple support but, it's not working.
I was using it ok when I was in Qatar where I bought my iphone but, once I moved to germany I installed new german SIM card and since then I never could find FaceTime again.
is it because I should change my apple store to German store or change my address I dot know.

FaceTime may be unavailable if your device originates from this region and becomes unlocked or is used in another country.
Facetime was disabled because you removed the phone from the country of origin and are now using a foreign SIM. You will not be able to use facetime on that phone at all unless you are in Qatar and using a carrier in Qatar. -
Since updating my iPhone4 the face time app has gone. I can not find it anywhere in my phone, phone settings or in my back up. Any suggestions as to how to get it back?
You access Facetime through the Contacts app - there is no Facetime app on the phone.

Somehow I can not find face time in the I phone 5 and not in the contact alsoWas the iphone purchased in a middle eastern country? Some governments there (e.g. UAE) do not allow facetime on phones sold there.

Every time I connect my iPhone to iTunes on my mac it alwasys says iPhone can not sync because sync session failed to start. What do I do to fix this problem?(It's an iPhone 4s with the latest IOS 7.0.2

I'm not sure that recovery mode works when you have to trust the computer, but did you try it?

If that won't work, perhaps you can use Find my iPhone from a computer in your iCloud.com account to erase the device.

This has nothing to do with the Find my iPhone app being installed on the phone, but you do have to have Find my iPhone activated in the iCloud settings on the phone. -

Me too. I have downloaded it numerous time to my iphone and sync from my mac. It is not on the phone even when selecting the music app and using the more choice. Audio books is not even a choice.

On my HD it does not say ,restore, in yourname -pict. Iphoto lib.,

The Bluetooth low energy protocol is not backward compatible with classic Bluetooth protocol.
My iPhone 4s can not find my sonny in-dash player. However my iPhone 3GS does it. Very disappointed with this.

You are correct, Blue tooth low engergy, BTLE.(only) devices are not backward compatible with Classic bluetooth and cannot connect.
However the Apple 4S and above have Bluetooth 4.0 support.. Hardware wise it has bothClassic Bluetooth, like the 3GS, as well as Bluetooth Low Energy. There is no good reason why your 4s cannot communicate to your Sony in-dash player using the Classic bluetooth that resides in the 4S.
I know that this does not answer the why it does not work, but it should work. Do you have to somehow re-pair the new phone up to the player? Not knowing the model of the Sony it is hard to investigate.
And I hate to ask but are you sure that the Bluetooth radio is on in the phone?
