after restore from backup, iphone is not getting start, only apple logo is there on screen
Hi there.
Try some basic trouble shooting steps first, before looking into some advanced issues that might be causing this. The first thing I would try, is holding down the power button and home button at the same time until the screen turns off on you. See what steps you can take from there, if any.
Kind Regards.

Connected ipad to pc, only apple logo appears, will not even go on or off
connected ipad to pc, only apple logo appears, now it won't even turn on or off
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I am trying to figure out why I cannot restore my Ipod touch 64, when I get through the whole restore it states "error code 1602". I have used the original cable that came with the Ipod and have tried it on two different computers. When I turn it on only the apple logo appears and nothing else happens. Please help
Error 2000-2009 (2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2009, and so on)
If you experience this issue on a Mac, disconnect third-party devices, hubs, spare cables, displays, reset the SMC, and then try to restore. If you are using a Windows computer, remove all USB devices and spare cables other than your keyboard, mouse, and the device, restart the computer, and try to restore. If that does not resolve the issue, try the USB issue-resolution steps and articles listed for Error 1604 above. If the issue persists, it may be related to conflicting security software.
If the phone is stuck on the Apple logo, you can try a hard reset (deletes no info). Press and hold the power button and Home button until the phone turns off. Then try to power it up again.
Simply restarting your computer will not cause your iPhone to stop working unless there is a major issue with software conflicts on your computer... i.e.... corrupt iTunes installation.
Try disabling any security software you might have and avoid using and USB hubs or extenders etc.
If the hard reset doesn't work in getting your phone to boot up, then you'll have to do a restore of the device. -
I updated my ios and now only apple logo appears nothing else works
Recently I got a notification about software update and i used itunes to update my ios 5.0.1 to ios 6 but now only apple logo appaers and nothing else works please help!!!!
Try resetting first.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, try restoring your iPhone to factory settings > http://www.everythingicafe.com/how-to-restore-iphone-to-factory-settings-without -itunes/2011/12/13/
Be aware, resetting to factory settings deletes all user data.
Then try updating to iOS 6 again. -

iPhone 4 screen remains blank and only the apple logo appears on and off when connected to mains or PC. Only on mains occasionaly proceeds to display IOS 6 logo and a slide sign to start recovery which proceeds to an instruction to connect to iTunes. Hwever, as soon as disconnected from mains (in order to connect to the PC) screen goes totally blank again. On connecting to PC the Apple LOGO starts appearing intermittently but does not proceed to display IOS 6 LOGO. I have recharged overnight and followed resetting instructions as per the iPhone support page. Any suggestions (short of taking it to a service centre) ?did you get any help regarding the problem?? because even i have the same problem!!! guess it all started after updating to iOs 6

i have erased my all phone contact list and then the message comes that it will be deleted with in an hour. but now my phone is not starting and only the apple logo appears on the screen. what should i do now..!
That number is for an apple server in the UK that is used for iMessage activation. A hidden SMS is snet to that number when you turn iMessage on and is used to verify your phone number. I suggest you turn iMessage off. In settings/phone turn on dial assist. Check with your carrier to see if you can send an international SMS as you end that possibility to activate iMessage. Rest your phone (Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for device to restart (no data will be lost).) then turn iMessage back on.

My macbook pro won't start up. Instead of the apple logo appearing in the start up only a grey folder with a ? At the center appears
Boubert,
the question mark in the folder typically represents the inability to recognize a valid filesystem on the volume being booted from. You can try this, although it might not make a difference: boot your MacBook Pro into Recovery mode by holding down a Command key and the R key as it starts up. Once the OS X Utilities menu appears, select Disk Utility. On the left-hand side of the Disk Utility window, select your internal disk’s boot partition (typically called “Macintosh HD”). On the right-hand side, select the First Aid tab if it’s not already selected, then press the Verify Disk button if it’s not greyed out; if it is greyed out, or if it reports that errors were found, press the Repair Disk button. Once the verification/repair is completed, exit Disk Utility and select Restart from the Apple menu to restart in normal mode. Is it able to boot normally now? -

I resets my iphone without disabling touch ID lock, it restarts, apple logo appears, and it stays like that, it never starts till now, just the apple logo and stays that way, please give a solution???
Hi ahmedsgh,
I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with your iPhone. If it isn't responding or starting up past the Apple logo screen, you may find the troubleshooting steps outlined in the following article helpful, in particular this portion:
If your device gets stuck during startup
When starting up, you might see the Apple logo or a red or blue screen for a long time, or your device might restart again. Try these steps:
Make sure that you have iTunes 12 or later on your computer.
Put your device in recovery mode.
When you get the option to restore or update, select Update. This will reinstall iOS without erasing your data.
