IPhone cannot text one specific number - help appreciated?

Hi everyone,
So the problem is that I cannot text one specific number (that I text on a daily basis); or rather the text is not getting through to that number... We can call each other and they can text me; but whenever I text them the SMS seems to go through fine on my phone but they never receive it. Texts to other numbers seem to be getting through fine and it happened pretty suddenly.
Any suggestions? I have already performed a Network Reset in the iPhone settings. Could this just be an issue with T-mobile? If so who should I contact about it to alert them - their 'customer care' team?

My info:
Phone - iPhone 3G with the latest software update that is commercially available through iTunes (I think that this is OS 3.1.3)
Network - O2
Location - Manchester, UK
Their info:
Phone - Nokia 2330
Network - T-mobile
Location - Manchester, UK

I can send the text, whether in reply or as a normal message; and it appears to go through. No problems or issues seem to exist according to my phone. Because of this I am very much in agreement with you on your point that it is likely to be their phone/network...
Not too sure about other T-mobile users as I'm not certain which of my contacts are with T-mobile (most people seem to use O2, Orange or Vodafone!)
I have reset my phone and this made no difference to my SMS attempts
I thought it might be a number block too, but phone calls get through fine and surely that would be prevented if my number was accidentally blocked?

Try a reset: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go.

Are you seeing this problem when sending a SMS, MMS or iMessage? Does it go away if you disable MMS or iMessage in Settings > Messages?
Make sure the phone number that you aren't able to send texts to has an area code.

Phone won't let me send texts to one specific number.

I recently discovered a problem with my Motorola Droid Mini phone, where it will not let me send texts to one specific number, but it will let me send texts to other numbers. I have tried rebooting my phone, deleting the number from my contacts and entering it manually, and have tried re-entering it into my contacts. None of this has worked so far, so any other suggestions would be very helpful.

Nevermind! I found out I can get a docking station that you can hook up from there to charge it! YEAH!

I am not able to text one specific person on my iphone 4. They an sporadically send but she is not recieving my message. I have read several forums and tried several things.. resetting etc... to no avail.. someone mentioned this may be the network. can anyone help? the phone also say it is ready to install update to ios 7.0.6 which provides a fix for ssl connection verification. then it indicates cannot be installd bcause it requires at least 3.7 GB of storage. So i have deleted some things and pretty sure I have enough GB but still reading the same message. OMGosh .. so frustrated.. especially wtih the texting.

Can the person Message you? If yes can you reply?
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

- Reset all settings

Cannot text one contact

I cannot text one contact, my father, who is on the same account as me. I have Moto X, contact has iPhone 5. Have deleted contact and turned off/on phone. Texts from either end do not go through.

Does your father receive texts from other people? Could he possibly have you blocked (inadvertently or otherwise?). Call Verizon customer service and have them check the provisioning on his line to ensure texting is fully enabled.
Is he trying to send you an iMessage text? Have him turn off iMessages and send a regular text.

Contact your carrier... and have her contact hers. Assuming they are SMS/MMS messages, that is. SMS and MMS are carrier features. Note that MMS messaging requires a cellular data connection.

TS2755 iMessage crashing when texting only ONE specific number?!

OMG!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For some reason my iPhone 5S messages is crashing when i try to text only ONE phone number!!!!!!!!! Then i even tried erasing his number, starting over, deleting any sign of the phone number in the phone book or recents...creating new contact, messaging without a name, etc!!!!!! and when I go to send the message or even tap on the name/number, it crashes and force closes Messages!!!!!!!! ***???????? Anybody!?

Quit the Messages application by double clicking the Home button and swiping up on the Messages thumbnail.
Reset your device (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Silver Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the Home screen redisplays, see if the issue is resolved.

Cannot text one number

I can not text one number and it is driving me crazy!! I recieved a message that says "you can only send messages to fixed dialing numbers". I do not know what that means. I can send texts to Verizon, and T-Mobile phones. I can send and recieve calls from the number but I can not text.
This is recent that this has happened. I was able to send and recieve texts from this one numbers, but it seems as of OCtober, I can not.
Is anyone else having this issue?? It is truely driving me crazy!!

Try checking Menu / Settings / Call Settings / FDN and make sure fix dialing option isnt enabled, if this is on this can restrict in and out going items..
Another thing to check with Verizon and make sure no restrictions is setup on your accounts or you can check and make sure you havent added that number to the block list on the MyVerizon area of your account.

Can't text a specific number

I have an unlocked iPone. Have not had a single problem with it, albiet this one.
For some reason I can't text a specific international cell - Amy.
I purchased this handset in the US and text Amy with no problem.
Since returning to NZ I have not be able to text her.
Today, I swapped sim cards with my flatmates iPhone. With my SIM in my flatmates iPhone I was success in texting Amy. With his SIM in my iPhone I couldn't text her.

Are you trying to send via iMessage or via traditional SMS?
How does the number looks when you trying from your phone? Do you have the countryprefix before the number?
Exempel, here in Sweden our country prefix for telephonenumber is +46. So if I am outside the country, say Germany, then I need to but the +46 before the number if I will contant someone with a swedish SIM.

Cannot access one specific server

I'm using an eMac G4 to manage my website, very simple (Wordpress + images). I had no problems until last week, when my hosting company turned out some FTPs to prevent massive usage of other users. I tried to upload some files to my FTP and tried to send some emails with an associated account to that site but I couldn't. When my hosting company solved the problem I could access the FTP and download my email, but I could not upload anything nor send emails with attachments.
I thought it was my Internet connection, but it wasn't as I could upload files with a PC connected to the same DSL. I can use it with no problems with any other computer but my eMac. Besides, it's the only FTP I'm having trouble too.
I flushed my DNS and no changes. I introduced manually my DNS and no changes. I renewed my IP as I have dynamic IP and no changes. I checked if I got a firewall and no firewall. My hosting company doesn't know what to tell me and I don't know what to do.
Any clue on what might be happening?

The problem remains. I upgraded to Tiger and I cannot upload files to ONLY ONE specific server. As the hosting company told me my IP address is not blocked from the server (and I have dynamic IP, so it doesn't matter), I pressume it is some kind of problem of my Network configuration. However, I don't know what to do.
Could it be my OSX be blocking uploading information to one specific server? Is there any "black list" or something at any plist?
It's really, really frustrating. Any ideas?
