IPhone cellular network issues after iOS 7.0.6 update

iPhone 5s recently updated to 7.0.6 having cellular network issues. Works on LTE, dead while on 3G. Wifi works. Anyone know why?

Indeed, but if you are in a weak coverage area or even somewhere like a basement, LTE occasionally cuts out leaving you with a 3G connection, which the device will display accordingly. During the times when my device is on 3G I do not receive voicemail, iMessages, or any network connection and get a message telling me my device is "not connected to the internet" even though the 3G indicator is present. Once LTE kicks back in or I find a wifi connection this is no longer a problem, but the phone automatically toggles back and fourth between LTE and 3G more often than desirable which became noticeable when stuff stopped working during the 3G periods.

I recommend these steps if your iPhone is shutting down or restarting unexpectedly:

Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIs and corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.
Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.

Iphone 5s touchscreen issue after IOS 8.0.2

Hi All,
I've been having an iPhone 5s for a year and ever since i've updated to IOS 8.0.2. My iPhone touch screen has became unresponsive. It happens after i unlock my phone and it just gets unresponsive. It could happen after a few seconds of usage of any app or just messaging. It has become really frustrating. The only way I could get it back on working was to lock and unlock my phone.
I've tried restarting my iPhone, and ask restoring my phone with a new Set up. But the same issue arises.
The only thing i have not tried was to check if there was some connectivity issue inside the phone. My warranty was over end of september and I do not wish to pay for a replacement fee as It be a better option to get a new one.
My phone specs:
Iphone 5s 64GB Silver.
IOS 8.0.2
Memory Used35.3 GB

I Hope there's an fix for this. And hopefully it's the software problems.

copy and pasting is difficult or impossible. Hyperlinks take 2-3 clicks to load. Tabs refresh too often to make working in tabs reasonably useful at all. Typing has lag between what i type and appearing on the screen.

To troubleshoot this issue where you are unable to load pages, and seem to not have a connection over the cellular network, please follow the steps below.
Follow these steps for help with cellular data issues on your iPhone. After performing each step, test to see if your iPhone still has the issue.
Toggle airplane mode: Tap Settings, turn airplane mode on, wait three seconds, and then turn off again.
Restart your iPhone.
Make sure that your software is up to date:
Check for a Carrier Settings Update: Tap Settings > General > About.
Check for an iOS Software Update: Tap Settings > General > Software Update.
Some updates may require a Wi-Fi connection.
Remove the SIM Card and reinsert it. Allow the iPhone to acquire the network again.
If your SIM card has SIM PIN enabled, try turning it off: Tap Settings > Phone > SIM PIN.
Try another location. If a different location works, but the original location still doesn't, contact your carrier to report the issue.
Reset network settings: Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Resetting network settings on your device will erase all current saved settings, including Wi-Fi passwords, preferred networks, and VPN settings.
Restore the iPhone as new.
Contact your carrier to:
Verify that the iPhone is properly set up on the account with the appropriate, current data plan.
Verify that there are no account-related blocks.
Find out if there are specific error messages in the carrier logs that could help determine why the issue is occurring.

IPhone no longer works after iOS 5.0.1 update

My iPhone 4 no longer recognizes its SIM card after updating from iOS 5.0 to 5.0.1.
I followed the instructions in the article on the official Apple support site. Removing and reinserting the SIM card did not help, so I used iTunes to reset the iPhone.
The result is that after switching on, the iPhone tells me that there is no SIM card in the slot (even if there there is) and that I should insert a SIM card with no PIN lock into the slot.
I do not have a SIM card with no PIN lock.
My phone company only distributes SIM cards with a PIN lock.
What can I do now?

I had this issue too. I did an OTA update.
I tried turning off my iPhone, removed and reinserted my SIM and turning it on again a few times without success. I also inserted my wife's SIM, it was OK. When I tried with mine again, it was not. I also tried going in and out of Airplane Mode too without success.
Afte a bit of trial and error, I finally got it to work.
What I did was:
1. Turn off WIFI.
2. Turn off my iPhone.
3. Removed and reinserted my SIM.
4. Turned on my iPhone. Almost immediately I saw the "3G" indicator and after a couple of seconds, my SIM worked!
5. Turned WIFI back on.
From my issue, it seems the iOS 5.0.1 update got "confused" with the network setup.

My iPhone no longer syncs after iOS 5.0.1 update.

I have an iPhone 3GS (16GB), and ever since I updated to iOS 5.0.1 it has been refusing to sync via USB and WIFI. Apparently it needs an additional 8.32GB of space, despite the fact that nothing's changed with regards to the content being synced. I've attached a screenshot for reference.

Bluetooth car kit connectivity issue after IOS 8.1.2 update

After the IOS 8.1.2 update I cannot connect my IPhone with the Bluetooth car kit (hands free) system of my car.
Before the update connectivity was perfect, after the IOS 8.1.2 update the car kit does not find the IPhone any longer.
To solve this issue I deleted both the car kit and the IPhone from the paired devices list of both (my car and the Iphone) and tried to pair them again - no success. The car kit just does not finds the Iphone any longer.
Please, help!!!

Just to share the way I finally solved the problem - might be helpful to somebody else.
I didn't noticed before that the IOS 8.1.2 update changed automatically the name of my Iphone from the one I've given to it before to just "Phone".
I re-named the Iphone (just gave a new name to it by going to Settings -> General -> About -> Name) and then the car kit managed to find the phone very quickly via Bluetooth.

Volume issues after ios 5.0.1 update

i recently updated from ios 5.0.1 to 5.1 and today i observed that the volume went low while listening to songs and i did a hard reset and now things have started to work fine.but what is the permanent solution for this?any one who is facing this issue?

While wifi connection is never good on ipad according to my experiecne, the situation is worsend after ios 5.0.1. It takes approximatley 2 to 3 minutes for me to connect to the home router, (it took 30 secs at most in the past). When I go out for outdoor wifi, the hotspots of some internet service providers can never be connected, the refreshing circles keeping spinning for 3 to 5 minutes and nothing happen.
The bottom line is, battery life seems to run longer than before, but I don't think it is an acceptable trade-off.

iPhone is getting disconnected with my wifi where as my other devices are not . Even when the wifi signal is full with nice internet speed im experiencing very slow wifi connection. As my iphone 5s is new i would like to know is that my iPhones fault or iOS fault !! please help me out!

Gaming issues after iOS 7.0.6 update on iPhone 4S

Recently I updated my iPhone 4S to ios7.0.6 from ios5 and there are few very annoying problems.
Firstly the games that ran smooth on ios5 are lagging in gameplay. Also the games crash and close does very frequently.
For eg I play dead trigger 2 and it crashes very frequently in my phone.
And one more thing that I don't understand is that sound while playing games goes mute and back to full randomly. Some times while playing it goes totally mute sometimes it slows down and after a minute or so back to normal.
This is very irritating please help.
I have even tried turning off the parallax effect, background app refresh so as to reduce on the processing power but It didn't helped a bit.

The game worked fine for a day or so But now again I'm experiencing same problem....and the problem with gAme music remains the same.....I guess there's something to do with ram or cache resetting! Regretting ios7 update...
I used to play deer hunter 2 on ios5 and it couldn't have worked any better and now on ios7 it lags and game musics it ******* goes off...or volume level decreases without any reason... It's ******* frustrating.

HT4623 iPhone 4 not working after iOS 6.0.1 update

I have just updated my phone to iOS 6.0.1, however after the phone updated, it no longer switches on and I just have a grey screen. When I try and plug the phone into iTunes, it does not recognise anything. Is this likely to be a problem due to the updating iOS6.0.1 or has something else liekly to have broken on the phone and it's just pure coincidence that it happened when I did the update?

I would try a restore in itunes then set up as new iphone (dont use restore from back up) pain I know but it can do the trick.
Still no luck Apple Store get them to sort it or New Phone Please!

IPhone 5 battery draining after iOS 6.0.2 update even on standby mode without wifi/ 3G at all.

My newly bought iPhone 5 was on iOS 6.0.1
everything worked fine and i had no wifi nor battery issues at all until I upgraded it to iOS 6.0.
i noticed some battery drainage even when i'm not using my phone at all it still drains 1-2% on standby mode with no wifi nor 3G at all in an hour,
If i use wifi it'll drain 4-5% in a few minutes time, more serious case when i use 3G, it's literally draining in EVERY SINGLE MINUTE.

No it's not "per design". It's not supposed to disconnect when locked/in sleep mode. The whole concept of having live notifications to work when your phone is locked is the standard for smartphones. IPhone 4 total malfunction after iOS 5.1.1 update

I updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.1.1 on Friday, it worked normally for about 24 hours, and now all of a sudden it is completely unusable. If I press the home button absolutely nothing happens. But if I plug it into the charger and then press the home button, the white apple appears, and it boots to the grey screen that you get with a brand new phone. When I then swipe the slider I am asked for a passcode, so I enter the one I used when the phone was working normally. I then get the screen that says to connect to iTunes. Problem is that I'm traveling and so for the moment cannot connect to my iMac at home. (I have a PowerPC G4 laptop with me that can't go beyond OS 10.4 and iTunes 9.1.1.) Can anyone shed any light on this? Is there anything I can do now or do I have to wait until I return home? Or is the phone totally toast or what? I've read some stuff about SIM cards being corrupted with this update. Would a new one restore the whole phone?

Exact same thing happened to my Iphone 4 on August 4th (366th day of 1 Year Warranty). When connecting to ITunes, Restore fails and a message pops up in Itunes stating that "There is a problem with your IPhone" and directs you to Customer Support. I took the phone to Apple Store, the Geeks there experienced the same problem and were unable to resolve. They suggested that the phone needed to be replaced at cost of $159.99 eventhough it started to malfunction 1 day after warranty expired. Endless amount of pleading/arguing failed to sway them into giving me a free replacement. Phne still not working. Would changing the SIM help?

Iphone 3GS keeps restarting after ios 4.3.2 update! Help please.`

So I recently updated my uncles iPhone 3GS from a very old version 3 something to the latest. It randomly restarts within about 5 minutes of using the phone. You could be in a call and it would just shut down. Any help on resolving this issue please?

Sorry unit was upgraded to iOS 4.3.3. Unit is now out of warranty by 23 days. I would like to think out of courtesy that Apple would replace my iPhone for the inconvenience caused by the upgrade as the phone was working perfect prior to the upgrade.
