Iphone charger doesnt work - iOs 5.01 issue?

After upgrading my iphone 4s to 5.0.1 the charger doesnt work. I charged the phone several times before upgrading. Is this just an coincidence or are others experincing the same problem?

I was correct it was a User error. I was fooling around with my phone settings this morning and noticed that my Settings/General/Accessibility/Physical & Motor/Incoming calls setting was set to default. I figured this meant it would go to an active bluetooth device if it found one since the choices were Default, Headset, and Speaker. Apparently this assumption is incorrect. When I changed the setting from Default to Bluetooth it resovled my problem. Incoming calls now connect to the headset if it is active and the phone when it's not.

Right so, my iPhone charger only works on occasions and I'm not sure what is happening

I have an iPhone 4S and sometimes my charger messes up a little, I realise it is in low battery and then go to charge but for some reason it just doesn't.
I have tried so much to keep my charger in good shape like taking it out of the plug while not in use and taking the USB out the actual charger when I'm not using it. So do I have to buy a new charger or is it my phone?

Not all of your information is correct Libby. First off yes, you should try another charger to rule out the issue of it being the charger or the phone, if the phone still doesnt charge well with a know good charger then it is a hardware issue with the phone. However as far as your phone being replaced for free, there are some stipulations, obviously it has to be under warranty, secondly it can not have been in contact with liquid, and the issue must not have been caused by accidental damage. I would suggest taking it into an Apple store if you have one located near you, if not i would contact Apple Support at 1-800-MY-APPLE, through which u can have send your phone in for repair either by taking it to a The UPS store, or Apple will send you a Box and a shipping label and you can send it out yourself. The last option that Libby referred to is an "express replacement" of sorts, Apple will send you a phone that will arrive in 1-4 business days, from the day Apple sends out that phone you will 1:Have a hold put on your credit card for the full value of the new device, 2: be charged $29 for the express replacement, 3: Have 10 Business days to return the broken device, or the charge will not be lifted from your credit card.

Thanking you so much to be interested about my answer but what I figured out is as long as you bought your iPhone from gulf or Arabian area it will not has face time application cause I think apple has made special software for Arabian areana to privent facetime according to special request by phone cells companies and one of my friends has told me if you want to make sure that your iPhone not for Arabian areana you should check the model number on your iPhone backside if it ends with 29 it means it's for Arabian countries if other numbers it's gonna be for US. Or Hongkong so it's ok

I want to hear from anyone who is experiencing such problems not anyone else that wants to put there two cents in. I really don't need anymore hate or negativity. Yes, I have had some unfortunate bad luck to have so many problems at the same time, but some of them are just things you cannot do on the new OS.

Iphone 3g doesnt work after ios5 upgrade

i upgraded my iphone 4 but now i can't use facebook, get my emails...anything that uses the internet isn't working anymore!! it says 'could not activate cellular data network...'etc...please help!!
i can only use it for texts, phone calls and camera at the moment which is not why i chose iphone!

Settings/General/Reset Reset Network Settings, then reboot (hold HOME and SLEEP until an Apple logo appears)
If you have an Exchange email account and still have the problem do the following:
Settings/Mail,Contacts,Calendar, tap on the Exchange account and delete it. Reboot. Go back to Settings and add it back.
There are other possibilities, including misbehaving applications, but this is a common problem with Exchange.

Hi......Got your message....So I am not the only one that has this problem....It's funny sometimes it works and then is doesn't.......I called Support immediately....we reset the network settings....didn't work....He said we would walk me through reinstalling ios5.....Really didn't want to deal with that at that time and don't know if I want to do that....so that's where I am at this point....Thanks for responding.....

After playing with it a bit more and holding down my home button I got the phone to restore. But now, it won't power back on unless plugged into the charger. Well the problem is suppoused to be the screen, because my macbook recognize the divice and its conected to the itunes, bue the screen is all in blue and withe.

Apple doesn't fix phones, they replace them. Out of warranty replacement for the iPhone 4S is $199. When you get to the US, you can request this replacement.
