IPhone charging problem please help
ok me and my fiance switched to at&t 3 days ago, we have a total of 4 lines on the account, 3 iphone 3g and just a cheap other phone. The iPhones went to myself, my fiance, and my mother. As soon as i got home i obviously started exploring my new phone, about 4 hours later i decided to charge my phone, i plugged the adapter into the wall socket hooked up the usb cord to that and then to my phone and nothing, i tried 6 different wall outlets and none of them worked. if i plug the usb into my computer my phone will charge just fine however. so my fiance decided to try and use her charger and it worked perfectly. yesterday moring my mother called me and said her phone was not charging, she was at work so i took her my car charger that way she could at least charge her phone so i brought her charger home and same thing adapter doesnt work but the usb hooked into the computer works just fine. since my mother doesnt have a computer i decided to give her the working charger that way she can at least charge her phone. later that evening my fiance picked up one of the "broken" chargers and tried to use it and it magically started working again and about 20 minutes later it stopped working again and has not worked since. i tried taking them in to at&t since it has only been 3 days since we bought them and they told me there was nothing can do for me. i am getting very frustrated. does anyone else have the same problem or have any tips on how to get these adapters to work.
Don't bother with AT&T. Bring them to the Apple store and they will replace them.

Sounds like your phone was locked and perhaps had it jailbroken or unlocked and now your device is not working. Is this correct? -

I been trying different thing and I finally found a solution to fix this PROBLEM GO into finder, GO on the Straus bar select GO to folder, then type /ect/ then select the file hosts and right click open with text edit and delete 74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com and save and save to the desktop than drag it back it in to hosts file and replace it then restart your comp. then download iTunes again hope this help U out cause it work 4 ME

Iphone 4 Problem: Please Help!
After updating to IOS 7, my Iphone 4 will not access the internet (in Safari, Tweetbot, Google Maps, etc.), despite being connected to home wifi. I have tried:
forgetting the network and re-joining
renewing the lease
resetting the network settings (Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings)
restoring the phone to original settings
None of those solutions have worked. I don't think this is a problem with the ISP (Xfinity), seeing as I have no trouble accessing internet on the wifi via laptop, ipad, video game console, or even an Iphone 4S (which I tried today). I have looked through the forums, but can't find any solid help. I contacted Apple Customer Service, but they told me it would cost $150 to replace the phone (after trying to charge me a $20 service fee) as I am no longer under warranty. Any helpful suggestions you can give me would be greatly appreciated!!!hold home/power button for 20-30seconds until apple logo shows.. might not work first time try to do it 2nd time for sure it will turn on again .. make sure you hold home and power at same time for 20-30seconds

My iPhone 3GS battery kind of started to grow big and it bended my circuit board on the phone
when i tryied to turn it on after an year, it would go to the apple logo and restart. i tryed to restore it via itunes and i got error 2001 and, now my iphone turns on with a white screen.
1) is it possible to UNbend my circuit board?
2) is my iphone ever going to work again?
is it possible that if i get a new battery, it will let me connect it to itunes and make it work?
also, even if i connect it to the wall with or without the battery, my screen goes white. is my screen broken suddenly or is it because the famouse white screen of death?

New iPhone 3G Problem, Please Help!
I just got my iPhone 3G two days ago. It is running strangely. There is often a delay between the pressing of something (application, name to call, etc.) and the activation of the intended action. There are also other glitches that occur. It just runs very "choppy"... if that makes sense. It basically doesn't run smoothly as one would expect from a 3 day old iPhone. Has this happened to anybody else? Is there a way to fix it?

- Bentry do a hard reset, hold the home button and the standby button till you see the apple logo then let go the 2 buttons. if no joy try a restore. if still the same return.

Having a Serious Iphone 5 problem please help
Ok, so over the weekend I went to a cabin in michigan for a camping trip. I left my Iphone 5 in the cabin all weekend. 2 days into the trip i tried checking my phone. First thing I noticed is that it was dead. So I plugged it into the charger and nothing happened. A friend told me to reboot and it did come back. However the screen was laced with white lines. I plugged into the charger and immediately things began to fade. so i left in a safe area to charge. When I next looked at it a day later (yesterday) nothing would function complete black screen nothing lighting up. So i stuck it in rice for a night, not sure if it got wet or anything, but this morning i plugged it back into the charger and the battery charging icon lit up like it was charging, however it has been slowly fading. What can i do to get things going again and what may be going on with the phone
Make an appointment at the genius bar of your local Apple Store. That sounds like a hardware failure. Hard to say if it got wet or not, but there's definitely something wrong.

Iphone 3g problem - please help
My iPhone 3g was fine until this morning, when it stopped working. The sleep/wake button doesn't do anything, and when not connected to a power source the apple logo continually flashes on and off - on for about 4 secs, off for about 8 secs. Works when connected to power (but sleep/wake button still not working). I have reloaded the OS, but made no difference. Ideas?

Hi, i had the same problem. Try to find the file "apple" or "itunes" don't know it anymore exactly. Ahm well you need to delet any information or just plug in your iphone into an other computer. important is that your iphone never has been pluged in this computer before. This was what i did, and it worked!

Verify that the outlet being used is working.
Try another USB power adapter if available.
If no other USB power adapter is available, try connecting to a high-power USB 2.0 port (not a keyboard). The computer must be turned on and not in sleep or standby mode.
Try another USB cable if available.
iPhone or iPod touch displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive
If you see the image below, charge the iPhone or iPod touch with USB power adapter for at least 15 minutes.
You should see this image when iPhone or iPod touch begins to charge:
If the screen still displays the low-battery icon, try turning the iPhone or iPod touch off and then on again.
If the issue persists, follow these troubleshooting steps.

If you are the original owner of the phone and know the Apple ID and password that were used to activate it originally, and if you have an existing backup to restore from, you can force it into recovery mode (which will completely erase it) and restore it as explained here: If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. When you do you will encounter activation lock, and will have to provide the ID and password used to activate it originally in order to activate it again. If you can't, you won't be able to activate and use it.

Don't worry, just follow these steps to fix iPhone stuck on Apple logo
=> First of all Start your Computer and then connect with Internet connection, now Download the latest version of the iTunes application
=> Now install the iTunes application in your System and connect your Device with computer via Data cable
=> Now connect your Device with iTunes application and then Tab on summary option, see in the left side bar of iTunes
=> Now Select restore option from iTunes and then confirm the Restore Message for better results. After this unplug your Device and Restart it

To make sure that this is not software related, set it back to factory settings, without using any backup data afterwards. Set up the rest of the personal settings manually and test the phone. If it still does not work, this is a hardware issue and the phone has to be serviced by Apple or an Authorized Apple Service Provider:

If you've noticed unexpected behavior with your iPhone camera, start with these steps to isolate or resolve the issue:
Camera isn't functioning or has undesired image quality
If the screen shows a closed lens or black image, force quit the Camera app.
If you do not see the Camera app on the Home screen, try searching for it in Spotlight. If the camera does not show up in the search, check to make sure that Restrictions are not turned on by tappingSettings > General > Restrictions.
Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from any obstructions. Use a microfiber polishing cloth to clean the lens.
Cases can interfere with the camera and the flash. Try gently cleaning the lens with a clean dry cloth or removing the case if you see image or color-quality issues with photos.
Try turning iPhone off and then back on.
Tap to focus the camera on the subject. The image may pulse or briefly go in and out of focus as it adjusts.
Try to remain steady while focusing:
Still images: Remain steady while taking the picture. If you move too far in any direction, the camera automatically refocuses to the center.
Note: If you take a picture with iPhone turned sideways, it is automatically saved in landscape orientation.
Video: Adjust focus before you begin recording. You can also tap to readjust focus while recording. Exiting the Camera application while recording will stop recording and will save the video to the Camera Roll.
Note: Video-recording features are not available on original iPhone or iPhone 3G.
If your iPhone has a front and rear camera, try switching between them to verify if the issue persists on both.
