Iphone completely freezes sometimes... HELP
This iPhone (3g) is a pain. The thing freezes and locks up when I hang up the phone. When I do so, the phone will freeze and practically shut down. The screen will be black and I can't turn it on or off, nor can I soft restore. Has anybody had this issue, and if so, does restore from backup work for you?
I have not had this issue.
What is a soft restore?
Do you mean there is no change after doing a reset, which is neither hard nor soft?
If a reset does not help, your next step is a restore with iTunes. If a restore from your iPhone's backup does not help, the next step is a restore as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup.
No change after that, give AppleCare a call at (800) 694-7466, or make an appointment at an Apple Store if there is one nearby.

Antivirus has a tendency to freeze iTunes sync Operation with iPod Classic, causing a timeout, which corrupt your iPod filesystem, so when iTunes can't read the iPod, it is pointing to this problem. Other causes is when your iPod hardisk is dying, or your battery is dying causing hardisk crashes.
My suggestion.
Connect your iPod to the PC and run chkdsk, to fix any iPod diskerror, then disconnect it, after chkdsk complete.
Disconnect your PC from Internet. (just to make sure no nasties creep into your system while you syncing.
Stop the Antivirus program
Connect your Ipod to the PC
When iTunes Open up, Restore your iPod please, this is for iTunes to map correctly, to fix the corrupted filesystem.
When Restore complete, eject the iPod and reconnect again.
Sync your ipod, preferably manually Manage in small batches and disconnect after every batch, to check that all is well, since you got such a huge library.
When all sync is complete, and iPod disconnected, start back your Antivirus and connect back the Internet.
If this doesn't resolve your problem, then let me know.

MSI GTX 670 completely freezes please help
Hi. I posted my problem on the nvidia forums and they suggested I RMA my graphics card and get it replaced... I thought I would post it here to see if anyone could help me...
This issue has started about a few days ago and it has been bugging me because I can't play any pc games for longer than about a minute. Anyway, so the problem is, after about 10 seconds of playing any pc game(I'm using the game minecraft as an example) my computer COMPLETELY freezes and blue squares appear. There is nothing I can do other than switch off the power. Even my mouse pointer freezes. I don't think it's an 'overheating' problem because I let it cool down for 24 hours and the problem persists.

As you can see, the blue squares appear and EVERYTHING is frozen... Even if i'm not playing a game, sometimes on occasions my screen goes black and comes back and says "display driver has stopped responding and has successfully recovered". But the main issue is that I can't play games or even watch youtube videos for longer than 10 seconds...
I have a MSI GTX 670 and I have the 306.97 driver.
I have tried countless 'fixes' (for example, setting power management to prefer maximum performance in nvidia control panel) and others too..
Any replies will be GREATLY appreciated, thankyoubrand, model PSU?

Check for hardware issues
Related errors: 1, 3, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 20, 21, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 34, 35, 36, 37, 40, 1000, 1002, 1004, 1011, 1012, 1014, 1667, or 1669.
These errors mean that your device or computer may have a hardware issue that's preventing the update or restore from completing.
Check that your security software and settings aren't preventing your device from communicating with the Apple update server.
Then try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good.
Confirm that your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers.
If you still see the error message when you update or restore, contact Apple support. -
Upload multiple files to iphone via wifi - completely freeze
Hi,
I upload files to iphone via wifi and air sharing app a lot. Just connect with finder and drag&drop files one at a time and everything is fine, but when you select more files and try to copy them to iphone together Leopard completely freeze. Totally. You cannot force quit finder, cannot run activity monitor, cannot kill finder in terminal or even restart the computer. Just shut down with holding the power button...

b) open BPC excel -> etools-> Save Dynamic templates -> reports
c) Select Local folder select all the files you want to copy ,and right click copy
d) Select Company folder paste files -

Have you tried to reset it? Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds and see if you can get it to reboot.

Try force iPad into Recovery Mode. Follow step 1 to 6 very closely.

When I watch YouTube videos on my iPhone 5 it sometimes suddenly drops in quality so much the whole video goes blurry and it's almost impossible to watch anything?? Sometimes my iPhone 5 freezes. I can't use the icons.re-booting fixes it. What can be the issue?
Did you try resetting it to factory settings? If not, try that and then set up as a new phone and not from backup. That's what Apple support had me do. Unfortunately that did not work for me. I ended up having to get a replacement. It should be here tomorrow.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

I also had this problem. Go to settings> itunes & app store, tap on your apple ID and sign out. Then open itunes store. It should now open.

iMessages are backed up in the normal backup of your phone so it will be restored when you restore the backup.
