Iphone could not synced because the session failed to start
My iphone when i conect it to itunes it says could not synced because the session failed to start what can i do ?
Make sure you don't have Restrictions enabled under Settings/General. If it's enabled, you might need to restart your phone afterwards.

IPhone could not sync because the iPhone is disconnected
I have downloaded iTunes 8, but when syncing my phone and trying to download the newest iPhone software (2.1), I keeep getting an error message that reads as follows:
"iTunes could not sync ^0 to the iPhone "xxxx's iPhone" because the iPhone is disconnected".....when it is indeed NOT disconnected. Any ideas or fixes? The new iPhone software has been downloaded on iTunes, but not yet downloaded to my phone due to the aforementioned error message.I am having a similar problem since going to iPhone 2.1 and iTunes 8.0. My iPhone sees my computer, and my computer sees it, but iTunes does not launch or see my iPhone, so I can no longer sync (running Vista, btw). Would be grateful for suggestions.

If you have a Windows machine, press the ALT key to bring up file, edit, view, etc. Click edit and go to preferences. Click the tab titled "devices" and then at the bottom it will say "reset sync history."
If you have a Mac it's a bit more complicated. You can find the instructions here:

If this is your first time syncing then try a different USB port.
Make sure there are no third party software conflicting your connection. (Anti-virus software, etc)
Make sure your lightning USB cable is in working condition.
Restart your computer. -

Your antivirus or firewall may be blocking access to Apple's activation server at gs.apple.com.
If you have ever used your computer to hack or jailbreak any iOS device at any time in the past your network database on your computer is corrupted. Open the hosts file and delete any lines that contain gs.apple.com.
Mac: /etc/hosts
Windows: c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
It is a hidden file, so you will have to set your file explorer to show hidden files. -
