IPhone delivery on the 23rd?
Juat got an email from Apple saying that my phone will be delivered on the 23 although, and I quote, "Although Apple and FedEx tracking information may currently indicate a later date". I did check the FedEx tracking information and it does say that my phone is in Oakland, CA. I am assuming that a lot of other people got this email as well. My question is, is this just an automated email triggered by a FedEx alert to Apple saying that my shipment can be delivered by the 23rd but doesn't really mean anything since Apple will just tell FedEx to hold until the 24th?
No problem here. I have been testing it like crazy. A little buggy but no major concerns here. It works magic. Am happy. I dont have to get a rip me off iphone 4.
For does of you complaining about instalation time, I didn't not experience this at all. It took aboout a min to download and 5min tops to install and that giving I had to back up my over 20gig ipod library.

The Apple Store TeamI got the e-mail too. My phone is still in transit to Anchorage, AK. I suspect it should get updated any hour now. I guess there were so many iPhones ordered that Apple chose to deliver a day earlier rather than a day later. Kudos to Apple, looks like they are trying to make an effort to be somewhat customer-centric, order snafus aside (and much mojo to those of you whose orders were lost, hope they do right by you!)

If I purchase an iPhone 5 from the apple shop, will t mobile supply a nano sim for my existing contract.
I have an iPhone 5 pre-ordered from the Apple store in the UK. I was in our local T-Mobile store last Friday. They didn't know then quite what was happening about supply of nano sims, etc. The store guy thought I might get charged £10 for a nano sim, but he didn't know for sure. My iPhone 5 is due for delivery this Friday (21st Sep). I shall be back in my local T-Mobile store the same day. Good luck!

you could buy it somewhere in Europe. I know Apple sells them unlocked here in Germany and if I am not mistaken also (among others) in France and Italy.
Yet, as Peter wrote, the warranty can become a problem. Not sure whether a one country only rule goes for the European Community as well though.
As for the price, the 16 GB model costs 679,- € (equals roughly 550 £). Currently there is an average delivery time of 4 to 5 weeks.
LTE connections will not work with Orange or Vodafone. Only EE is about to offer a compatible LTE network. DC-HSPA and regular HSPA+ will work fine.

Can someone please help me with this.I have upgraded to new IPhone 4's.In my music section,I cannot get all of the music that I have bought at ITunes.Some of the songs are on one IPhone but not the other.How do I get the songs on both IPhones?
Were the songs in question downloaded directly on the device or synced from iTunes on the computer?

I purchased songs from iTunes Radio on my iPhone, but now the only place they will show up is in the iTunes Store app on my phone, even after syncing to my computer a million times, the songs do not show up in my library or anywhere else. My phone is not syncing properly, I wanted to add another playlist to it that I created on my Mac. I pluged in my phone and made sure the playlist I wanted to add was checked to be on my phone when I synced.
The playlist I wanted to add was "Country." It is clearly checked. I also wanted to add the "Recently Added" playlist, which I also checked before sycing. Currently, my phone only has the "Purchased" playlist and my "All Songs" playlist on it. When I hit sync, iTunes added another playlist automatically added another playlist to the list above and checked it. It was titled "ALL SONGS 1" and had ten fewer songs in it than the playlist I had created, "ALL SONGS" had. This playlist, however does not show up on my phone after syncing, nor does "Country" or "Recently Added." (Every time I sync, another playlist is created as "ALL SONGS 2, 3, 4, etc.") One of the songs (I have not, yet checked the other songs) that I purchased from within iTunes Radio shows up in the "ALL SONGS 1" on this screen:
But does not show up anywhere else. This playlist does not show up anywhere but the two screens above. The ALL SONGS 1 or 2 playlists do not show up here:
When I search for those song in my library, it shows that I do not have them:
But if I go to the iTunes store, I get the play button and not the price of the song:
This is what things look like from my phone's side of things:
"Summertime Sadness," one of the songs I bought from iTunes Radio, does not show up in the iTunes store under purchased "All" or "Not on This iPhone"
But, it does show up under "Recent Purchases"
Also, this is what playlists are on my phone after syncing a million times:

If I buy a iPhone 5 at the store, will it still be running iOS 6 or 7?
I want to buy the iPhone 5 (not the iPhone 5s or c) because it has iOS 6 on it instead of iOS 7 (which I do not like) and wondering if the people at the store still have the iPhones that run iOS 6 on them. Thanks!
It is unlikely that you will find an iPhone 5 in any store for sale.
The iPhone 5 has not been available for sale since November of 2013 when the 5S and 5C were replaced.
The only way to acquire an iPhone 5 at this point is via the used/refurbished market. Unless you buy a used iPhone that was never upgraded, you will not find one running iOS6. -

You can always pre-order your new iPhone online and then start the mail in rebate by following this link: http://bit.ly/GGnDDC Or you can always go into the store location and do it all in store on the 19th when the phone is launched. my itunes will not open at all. it occasionally will open but when i plug my iphone into it the program freezes and crashes. please help as soon as possible
i think i might have a solution... i have windows vista and after i installed to latest itunes update everytime i tried to open it it would freeze. I tried everything, including uninstalling itunes and all of its components and reinstalled it numerous times. So i went to the itunes folder in my folders, not on itunes, and i deleted my itunes library and playlists. After that it worked just fine, all of my music was deleted but luckily i had my files saved elsewhere.
