Iphone device is not appearing in iTune

hi,
my iphone4 device is not appearing in itune. i have uninstall and install twice, using latest version10.4
others thing working for iphone but device is not locating on itune. i have checked going in device manager
where its showing iphone device and working properly. its working with other system but here in my acer vista 32 laptop not working.
can anyone help me out to get rid of it. i have tried all possible way and the troubleshoot guide still unable to overcome on it.

From the box the iphone came in:

You will need Mac OS 10.5.8 or later in order to get itunes 10.5 or later, in order to connect your iphone.

On 3 different PC and 3 different iPad 2 when I installed iTunes 11.1 Windows Autoplay recognise the iPad but iTunes do not.
The device does not appear in iTunes and thus neither synchronisation nor backup are possible.
Reverting to the previous version of iTunes solved the issue.
However with IOS 7 iTunes 11.1 is required and I am back with the same issue. Could you please help?

If you try syncing with iTunes again, perhaps the phantom album will be erased since it does not exist on the computer.
Have you tried restarting or maybe resetting the iPad to see if the album will disappear?
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Backup device file not appearing in iTunes Device Preferences

While performing 1st time backup for my iPad to iTunes MacBook, the process was interrupted halfway through. As such, I deleted the registered backup file from iTunes Devices Preferences/device/device backup and attempted to reinitiate the backup process. I have to restart MacBook because the iTunes File/Devices turns grey and I am not able to click on it. Restarting gets me to inititiate the back up and transfer purchase. The problem now the device name is not appearing at iTunes Devices Preferences/device/device backup. I am not sure if the backup is successful/complete and if so where is the files? How do I make the file appear so I can transfer the data / apps to my new ipad air via iTunes. Pls help...

After setting up iTunes 11, my devices are not showing up on the program.

I solved this by restarting my computer.

I've plugged in my Ipod shuffle and the device does not appear in Itunes. How can I see or update the music on it?

I've plugged my Shuffle into my MacBook Pro and Itunes did not pop up. I opened Itunesmyself, yet the device was not showing and I had no 'device' tab in the top right corner next to 'Itunes store' tab. Therefore how can I update the musci on this shuffle or see what the problem is? Thanks

I have connected multiple devies to my computer and none of them show up in iTunes.
I updated iTunes the other day and I am now unable to back up any devices.
