Iphone Disconnecting from Wi-Fi with WDS

Hi,
We are having a problem with my home's wifi connection and the both Iphone 5s that we have. We got and Tplink primary router and a secondary one (also Tplink) working in WDS mode, in the same LAN. The problem is that when the secondary router is in range, the phone stays well connected to the wifi. But when the secondary router is far way (or has been turned off) and the primary one is much closer, than the phone is not able to make a connection. It even finds the wifi, but does not connect. Even dont recognize the password.
But, if we turn off the secondary router and reboot the Iphone, after than it is able to connect to the primary router. If we turn on the secondary router, the connection maintain well put. But if we, then, turn off the secondary router, them the Iphones cant connect to the wifi using the first router, even if the phone and the router is side by side.
That problem does not occur with notebooks and other phone that is not Apple.
Help us.

I maybe be stupid but i answer anyway, is your APN settings right? Because in my old phone i had to set those before i could use mobile data.
You can change your APN settings in: Mobile network -> Mobile Data Network -> Then there is it.
Plz anyone smarter do not judge me because me comment.

Not shure if this is the right cathegory to post this question in, but here i go anyways
So, i wanted to create a backup for my iPhone on my Windows 8.1 computer, and i firs had some problems with the "Apple Mobile Device Service", but when i finally fixed that problem, and when i finally where ready to make a backup to my computer, it started, lasted for around 10 secounds, beafore the iPone was disconnected from my computer. I have already tried to use a different usb adapter, but this didn't solve my problem,..
Any ideas where my problem is hiding?

Yes, I did see that information in your initial post. Have you gone through the troubleshooting in the article I provided? There are additional steps aside from trying another USB port and updating iTunes.
Check connections
Try these steps to check the connection between your device or computer. You might need to do only one of these steps to resolve the issue, so test your connection after each step.
See if the cable connection at the device or computer has come loose or unplugged.
Unplug the cable you're using to connect your iOS device from the USB port on your computer, and then reconnect it. Then unplug it from your iOS device, and reconnect it.
Remove any third-party battery packs or cases from the device and ensure that the USB cable is connected directly to the port on the device.
If your Lightning or 30-pin cable is connected to a keyboard, display or USB hub, try plugging it directly into a USB port on the computer instead.
Close any virtualization apps (such as Parallels or VMWare).
These apps might interfere with your computer's ability to communicate over USB if they aren't properly configured, or up to date. If this resolves the issue, contact the developer of the app to see if an update is available.
Restart your computer.
Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
Check for software updates. You can download the latest version of iTunes from Apple. If you're using a Mac, you can check for updates to OS X and other software using the Mac App Store.
If you're using a non-Apple computer, check for firmware updates for your computer or USB card from the manufacturer's website.
If your iOS device displays the Connect to iTunes screen, reset your device and then restore it.
If you're using an accessory or third-party cable to connect your device, try using an Apple cable with the device instead.
Disconnect other USB devices from your computer, except for your keyboard and mouse. Then, reconnect your iOS device. If the issue is resolved, reconnect the other USB devices one at a time. Make sure your iOS device is still recognized by the computer after adding back each device.
If one of these steps resolves the issue, but it comes back later, make sure you haven't changed how the device is connected. For example, check to see if you plugged the device into a specific accessory, or used a specific cable that reintroduced the issue.

Restoring iphone backup from itunes account with multiple phones.

Hi, I wonder if anyone can please help.
Problem as follows:
Backed up/synced both my wifes and my iphone 4 to the same itunes account on Macbook. Wifes phone gets stolen, so get myself new iphone 5 and new Macbook. Managed to set up and get my data onto new phone without any problems, so all sorted.
I now want to pass on my old iphone 4 to my wife, but I cant restore the back up from her stolen phone on the old Macbook as itunes seems to only recognize and associates this phone with its last back up containing my data. Is there anyway that I can restore from the stolen phones backed up data? I have tried restoring the phone to factory settings, but then I still only get the option to restore from that phones original back up.
Would be grateful for any help.

Yes it is possible. Just log in on both phones using the same iTunes account info.
As far as synching goes, iTunes remembers the info you want synch'ed on each phone separately.
If you download an app on one phone and pay for it, it will be free to download on the 2nd phone as long as you use the same iTunes login

Iphone 3GS from PRC (real) with prepaid card in US?

I bought my iPhone 3GS in Beijing a few years ago and am now back in the US. I want to do a prepaid plan like we did in PRC.
How do I do it? I don't see the point in getting a contract with a carrier as the phone is old and I don't want to replace it because it works just fine.
I've read paygo from Target/Best Buy but I'm not so tech savvy so I need some advice.

3GS iPhone purchased in Beijing. Factory unlocked. Brought it to Target and bought the cheapest TMobile phone with a sim card already in it. Also bought a 50USD recharge card as the sim came with only 10 minutes of calling time.
I ended up calling from the house phone to get it activated and was straight forward.
Trick was regular sim card size was only available with a TMobile phone all the rest were micro sim which is fine with a 4 or 4S.
So I just saved myself a huge hassle and I'm thrilled! When it's time for the 3GS to go to the kids I'll be more than happy to buy a new iPhone in PRC. There is no point being locked into a contract IMHO!

As long as you share that AppleID for iCloud, you cannot. You are sharing a a single iCloud account and sync services. The only thing you can do is get a second AppleID and use it with iCloud - you do not have to use that new AppleID for anything but iCloud (ie. you can still share an AppleID for iTunes and App store purchases).
P.S. I am assuming you both want to sync your contacts with iCloud?

AT&T phones are always locked by AT&T, stolen or not. They cannot be legitimately unlocked and can only be used in the US on AT&T's network. And in case you didn't know, you are not talking to anyone from Apple here. We are all just users like you.

Tracking the device would only work if you have the iCloud account and password for using Find My iPhone. There is no way to restrict Facebook, as it is a 3rd party app. Shutting off calls would be something you need to contact your carrier about.

Any way to synch address book to iPhone 3GS from old MacBook with 10.4.11?

Well, your profile info says 10.4.11, and you are posting your question in the iMac (PPC) category. If you are running Snow Leopard, it must be a fairly recent Intel iMac.

If I order iPhone 5s from apple with one number with upgrade can I activate with a different number?

My family account has 3 phones, phone 1 does not have an upgrade available but phone 2 does.
Can I order an iphone 5s from apples website with the number for phone 2 to get the upgrade price and then when I receive the phone activate it with phone 1's number?
I asked a Verizon representative and he says I AM ABLE to do this BUT I have been looking at "activation" videos and none of them shows any area where you enter a number to activate the phone which leads me to believe the number for the phone is predetermined. (I have never owned an iphone).
I would love a definitive answer from someone.

Yes, you can do this. When the phone comes in, you'll need to activate it on line 2 to accept the Terms and Conditions, then you can move the phone to line 1. You then would reactivate the old phone back on line 2. Keep in mind that you may have a day's worth of pro-rated data on line 2 (I'd check via MyVerizon to double-check that the data plan did, indeed, drop off when you reactivated the basic phone). What password? Did you encrypt your backup & now can't remember the encrypted backup passcode? If so, no, you won't be able to use that backup. If on a Mac, & you elected to save the passcode to your Keychain, you can recover it from that. Otherwise, you'll have to delete the backup. The data is unrecoverable.
Or, are you talking about the iPhone passcode?

Unable to Backup iPhone - Disconnection Error

I'm using 2.1 firmware on my iPhone 3G and iTunes 8. I have no problems syncing all my data to and from my iPhone. The only thing is I can't seem to get iTunes to back up my files!! Everytime I try to run a backup, iTunes tells me that my iPhone has been disconnected, although it's still displayed on the devices panel.
Someone please help me with this!

I had this exact same problem. Back up would take a good couple of hours and would usually end with an error message saying that back up could not complete because the iPhone had been disconnected. Not sure when during the process this happened, because I'd often leave it going overnight, only to find the error message in the morning.
Anyay After looking at these discussions and searching the web for similar posts on other forum, I tried the following, which seemed to work.
1. With iPhone disconnected from computer (I have a MacBook) I deleted the previous back up (which was listed under iTunes > Preferences > Devices).
2. Quit iTunes and all other programmes
3. Go to disk utility and repair permissions for disk
4. Restart MacBook
5. Hard reset of iPhone (home and standby button pressed together for approx 10 sec, until screen goes blank - let go as soon as this happens)
6. leave iPhone for about 10 mins
7. Restart iPhone and plug in - iTunes should start and perform a back up immediately before syncing. This took about an hour, but completed OK.
8. Just to make sure the MacBook or iPhone were not 'going to sleep' (which might have caused the disconnect error before??) I routinely moved the mouse on the keyboard and on the iPhone
9. Verified good back up by checking it under iTunes > Preferences > Devices - there should be a back up there in the name of your iPhone and the time you did it.
Hope this works for you guys. Not exactly technical, but I'm not a developer or anything, just a keen user.

Yes, it was Jailbroken.
And I reset (Erase all content and setting) this took about an hour.
but it not restart again, the apple icon kept on screen.
now i just want to restor to original without jailbtake ( I have enough) from jailbrake.
just need to keep the original iOS.
and with itunes the 1015 error each time i tried to restor.

I have restarted the PC, the iphone, changed the lightining cable and nothign resolves it: backup never completes.

Hi, I disabled the antivirus and the firewall. Same result
I even deleted the backup folder inside C:\Users\...\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup to eliminate any corruption in the old backup files.
Nothing changed: Session either times out or i get the same error message: itunes could not back up iphone because iphone disconnected. It always happens during step 3 out of 4 which is "transfering purchased apps from iphone to PC" and comes after step 2 which is backup.
My iphone 5 is not jailbroken, and is a factory unlocked phone.
Any other suggestion?
