My iphone display is stuck with the itunes icon and picture of usb drive. I've tried resetting the phone but it comes back each time. When connected to PC nothing happens. When I open itunes the phone is not recognized.

Correct. it does not magially appear in other places. It will only be where you put it.

Correct as well. Iphone will sync with one computer at a time. Syncing to another will erase the current content.
You need to copy everything ( itunes library/contacts/pics/calendars/files/docs) from the old computer, or your backup copy of the old one, to the new one. -
hey my iphone was working perfectly and then i sent it to check up and it came back with the itunes icon and data cable on it. so i tried plugging it in the computer and a message on itunes came up saying theres a problem with your phone and it may be damaged and cannot be activated. HELP PLEASE!!

tried updating my sons ipone w IOS 6.1.2 and phone froze with the itune icon and a pic of a usb cable, what can I do
what it mean to tell you is to connect the ios device to a computer running itunes
using an usb cable to restore the software so it will work once more -

My iPad will not charge and every time I charge it. It comes up with the iTunes icon and I will not charge, it is not a new I pad and the same charger I use for the I pad I use for my I phone and it will charge. What is wrong?
What exactlyare you seeing on the iPad's screen ? If it's the iTunes icon and a cable then that means that it's gone into recovery mode - you will need to connect it to your computer's iTunes and you should be able to use that to reset it back to factory defaults and you can then restore/resync your content to it.

Last night i was downloading the new update for the Iphone4 on my laptop through Itunes. After the download was done, it was starting to install, and then an error came up and didnt get a chance to check it. Now my Iphone is stuck on the screen with the USB pointing to the Itunes Icon and wont do anything else. Any advice on how to get this fixed, or do i need to go to the Apple store and have them look at it.

How do I fix my apple TV? Since I did the latest update, it has been frozen on a screen which shows the itunes icon and an apple TV with a cord going from one to the other. I have tried unplugging it and plugging back in. I have also tried plugging it into my computer and updating it through itunes and nothing has worked.
It is in recovery mode, it must be connected to a computer and restored via iTunes.

Well I just looked over at the screen, and everything is now fine. No flickering, no logo... the screen looks normal.

i have an apple ipod touch #2 and i bought it used and couldnt download any thing without there password so i reset every thing and trying to start new. its on and showing me the itunes icon and a usb cord, so i pluged it up to my desktop and downloaded it to the computer and created my apple id, and it is still showing the icon and usb cord. i dont know what to do.
You need to connect the iPod to your computer and restore via iTunes. See:

i just wanted to restore from 6.1 to 6.1.1 on my iphone 4s and itunes gave me an error -1 and know it doesnt work i dont know if the warranty from 1 year of apple can fix it or what i can do to solve the problem... as i said i just wanted to update and know im stuck with the restore logo ( the itunes logo and the cable) need some help please!!!!

During the ios 7.0.4 update, my IPad 2 froze. The picture on the screen is an iTunes icon, and arrow inder that and a picture of the apple usb cord. It will not go away. I have tried hard and soft turn offs. Please help!

When there is an iOS update available, iTunes asks if you want to install it. I chose to only download the iOS 7.0.6 update, but not to install it until I had done a backup of everything on my iPad. When that iOS 7.0.6 update failed, I had NO iOS at all, just a bricked iPad.
When my son did a "clean restore" that was the same thing you'd do to wipe an iPad - just install iOS 7.0.6 and install basic iPad apps. When you turn the iPad on after that, it indicates it wants to be connected to iTunes. At that point, my son yanked the cord so nothing else was installed. Then, with iOS 7.0.6 already installed, iTunes on my PC didn't say it wanted to update iOS, and allowed me to choose my previous backup to be restored. All was straightforward after that.
Again, there are places on he web where you can download various versions of iOS, along with a PC utility that will do the iOS update. I think these utilities are for when you want to hack your device, so I'm not crazy about this approach. -

That is telling you that you need to connect it to iTunes. (iTunes will probably tell you that it needs to be restored when you do.)

So I downloaded itunes set up which took an hour or so.
Now what do I do?Please check 2 things in your computer.
1. Right click 'My Computer' => Manage => Services & Applications => Services. Look for Apple Mobile Service at the top. Status must be STARTED. If stop, please start it.
2. Open iTunes in computer. For Windows 7, go to iTunes Store => Authorise this Computer => key-in your Apple ID and password when prompted. For Windows 8, press ALT and S together. A pop-up window would show information of authorising computer. Click Authorise this Computer => key-in your Apple ID and password when prompted.

I know that if you insert a picture into dreamweaver you can make it into a link, but, I'd like to have it do some CSS for the hover property. Usually I would do something like changing the <a> tag to do it but, maybe I want images to do something di
