Iphone does not displays home screen

when i turn on my iphone it displays apple logo for few minutes and then shows white flash and again restarts.. this cycle goes on and on.

You likely have orientation lock on. this is covered in the icon explanation section of the manual:

REMOTE app on iPhone does not display Cover Art

I use the Apple REMOTE App on my iPhone to control my iTunes music library on a Mac. The REMOTE App controls the iTunes playback properly. However, the Cover Art for each song does not display on the "song" screen - showing the song currently playing. Across my iPhone screen (where the Cover Art should appear) are the words containing album of the song). The name of the song and album correctly appear at the top of the screen.
What is interesting is that when I hit the back arrow (left side top on song screen), all of the Cover Art appears in small thumbnails. The Cover Art also appears in other displays (for example, the currently-playing Album) using REMOTE on my iPhone. This means that the cover art is being transmitted to my iPhone - HOWEVER IT DOES NOT DISPLAY ON THE SONG SCREEN.
Can anyone kindly help me resolve this - because I would really like the Cover Art to display properly on the song screen. Thank you. Dale

Nezmo, This is really unbelievable. I have suffered from the issue I described for SEVERAL YEARS. Today, for some reason I decided to make this post on the Apple discussion board. And, today the issue was fixed by Apple. I just downloaded the update to the REMOTE app and the cover art now shows beautifully on my iPhone 6 plus. Thanks. Dale

IPhone 3G does not display Starbucks screen in iTunes

Sitting in a few different Starbucks and using iTunes for free to purchase new music I find that my phone is never able to display the "Starbucks" screen (lower left hand side Starbucks Icon). It flashes up very briefly and then disappears again/flashes up again/disappears again like it is in a constant reloading loop. All the other functions/screens in iTunes work just fine and I buy new music with no problems.
Is this a known issue? Is there a listing of known issues anywhere?

WOW. So many of us! And to think that I was worried that I was being stupid for posting this problem. I don't know why though because I look stupid on a regular basis... I'm sure they will get to this problem before long.
I'd bet that the team sits in meetings with huge lists of issues and decides which are the most critical issues that they can address (and resolve), given limited resources, in the time frame that they have been given before the next release. And actually, they are doing very well based on what we got with 2.1.
Seriously folks. Apple has done some amazing work in the past years to which we owe kudos for huge industry altering technology leaps. But instead we stick to the negative and beat down on the team gutsy enough to lead the charge. Have we been spoiled and come to expect too much from the company? Maybe? Are we acting like spoiled children with all our non-constructive ********? Maybe. I'm grateful myself and here is why:
I use my phone for:
tunes in my car
watching movies at night
games when i'm bored
surfing the web to find anything i need
maps with directions to find my way
entertainment for kids with light sabers and animal sounds
remote controls for all kinds of stuff
a phone for work and family
audio books so I don't have to read
so many apps i have 7 home screens
and more good stuff everyday!

My ipod touch shows up in Itunes, but does not display sync screen.

It does not sync or backup. The backup bar gets stuck at about 5%. I have removed and reinstalled iTunes several times and still nothing. I have also restored the ipod and that did nothing as well. Please help

No error messages. I just can't drag anything into my music folder and if I check a playlist, artist, song or anything the "apply" button stays greyed out and I can't sync.

As title. I have mobile data switched on. What else do I have to do?

Firstly try simply turning your iPhone off completely (press and hold the sleep button until you see the 'Slide to Power Off' message) and then turning it on again.
If still nothing, then try a network reset by going to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings follow the prompts and your iPhone will then reboot.
If still nothing you will need to contact EE as data may not have been provisioned properly on your account, which sometimes happens especially on new EE accounts. Is this a new EE plan or have you had it a while?

try doing a reset. hold down the home/power button together until you see the appple logo and then release. wait for the phone to boot back up.

JSplitPane not displaying on screen

Someone please help me. Stuck on this problem for 3 days now but just cannot see the answer. JSplitPane just does not display on screen. When I call it from within the class xer it appears as a little rectangle of about 2mm by 4 mm insize. When I call it from within actionPerformed I just do not see anything at all. I need to call it from actionPerformed as a final solution. Please give the answer based on it being called from actionPerformed. Thanks.

If you didn't back up the phone to iCloud or iTunes (on your computer) BEFORE attempting the update, the data will be lost.

Here are the steps for AirPlay:
Before starting Azul from your (running iOS 5.x/6.x) home screen where have have all your apps we need to turn on mirroring
On your iPhone 4S/5 or iPad 2 or 3, double-click the Home Button to view your recently-used apps.
Swipe all the way to the right to until you see the icon.
Note: If the icon does not appear, go to the "If AirPlay Mirroring is not visible or available on your mobile iOS device" section.
Tap the icon to see the list of available AirPlay devices.
Enable AirPlay Mirroring in this menu by tapping on an available Apple TV, then sliding the Mirroring slider to ON.
Now you should be seeing your iPad/iPhone on your TV.
Start up Azul now and using the settings icon on the top right corner go to the option that say "TV out" ON.
When you do that you will see an Orange screen
Now click "Done" and play the video you want to watch and it will AirPlay

I have an iPhone 5 with iOS 8.2 software.
My iPhone does not automatically switch off the display light when it is locked. Therefore, if I get an e-mail/text message/pop-up from other application, the light just stays on, which obviously drains my battery.
The problem just started yesterday, and it has been a couple of days since I updated the software, so I wouldn't think the software update is the problem.
I have tried restarting the phone (using home and lock button), but that did not work.
Something else that seems weird is that once in a while, a blue beam rolls over the screen from one side to the other. I don't know why it does this, and have no idea whether this is related to the display light issue.
I hope someone is able to help by telling me what to do in order to get my phone to act normal again.

Blackberries were designed at a time when cellular data was very expensive. They don't do nearly as much as an iPhone, in part, to conserve data use. All modern smartphones will use more data than a Blackberry unless you do almost nothing.
You do not need to quite apps. Almost no apps run in the background.
