I have lost all my data from my iphone during synchronisation.  Can anyone help me?

You might profit from a visit to a Minneapolis Apple store. With a brand new Mac, I think they will be most helpful - not just with transferring files, but with other advice as well. And I strongly recommend you invest in a back up drive. The Apple folk can help with that as well.

  • Since one week my iphone, after synchronisation, gives me error message 13 objects could not get synchronized, look in itunes for more information. however, I dont find any info there

Launch Disk Utility in /Utilities. Then, click on the volumes under the top-level disk. The one that has this listed on the bottom is the boot volume.

Merci!

You can use an iPhone without an internet connection, but as it is an internet connected device, you would be missing out on alot of the advantages of owning an iPhone.
Why not just get an iPod touch? - they're much cheaper and do most of what an iPhone can, except access the internet over 3G and make calls over the phone network.

    Gruss

  • How can i synchronise my iphone to a new pc without deleting it?

i got a new pc some time ago but when i try to synchronise it to the new pc it says i have to delete everything on my iphone and synchronise with the new itunes library. for some reasons it did add some songs by itself and i cant delte them.

if you're keen on keeping the music on the iPhone and that music wasn't purchased with iTunes, then don't sync.
You can only transfer purchases (apps, music, whatever) from your device to a computer that's been purchased with iTunes. Not other things, like music that was ripped from CD's and whatnot. This has everything to to with legal reasons and music industry rights and stuff.
check out this article for transferring the purchases: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1848
you can authorise 5 different computers for your purchases, check out this: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1420
    Good luck

  • No synchronisation with Iphone 3Gs

    Hello,
I have a computer with Gigabyte GA-P55-UD3 with BIOS F4 (fix iphone) and 7 Enterprise 64 bits final and the las version 64 bits of itune.
I can't synchronise my iphone. For exemple i plug my iphone ... itune and iphone say "synchronise" but after 3 minutes i have error 13014.
I reboot my computer, Reset (and lost all data) my iphone and plug. It ask me "new iphone or restore". I say new iphone ... and itune dosen't respond. I unplug, reboot, plug and itune see an Iphone with 4 Go and ask my to restaure. But in the middle of restaure i have error 13 .... and i can't use my iphone :s
    What can i do ?
    Thanks for help

There is a known issue with that chipset and although the Beta bios update for Gigabyte was released it doesn't fix all occurrences...
    See this link - http://www.appleinsider.com/articles/09/11/09/iphonewindows_7_sync_bug_with_intel_chipset_fixed_forsome.html
a work around if you have installed the bios from gigabyte and it didn't resolve is run the iTunes sync in Vista SP2 compatibility mode

  • Problems synchronising new iPhone 4

bought an iphone 4, synchronisation doesn't work because it cannot make a backupcopy
it starts the synchronisation and starts making the backupcopy, but stucks after 30sec
Cannot stop it, ITunes does not respond anymore

    Hey!
Make sure that iTunes is all up-to-date on your computer and on your phone.  Also disable any Anti-Virus Program you may have on your computer, could be preventing communication with your iPhone
If that does not help, try uninstalling iTunes and all related compontents... Follow the steps in the following articles depending on what operating system your running on your computer.. I'm assuming it's a windows machine.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925 - Windows XP
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923 - Windows Vista, Windows 7
If all else fails, it's possible something on the phone is currupt and is not "backupable"... and thus fails the whole backup process...
    Hope this helps!
    Good Luck!

    Merci
    Mt

    Short answer-no.
It does have the correct amperage to charge the iPad.

  • How to upload new songs while not wanting to synchronise?!?!! help!!!

i have an iPhone 3G and have had it for a little while now. I used to have a pc and uploaded songs from my pc to my iPhone. Now i changed from that PC to a laptop and just downloaded a new iTunes because i want to add some new songs. iTunes asks to synchronise my iPhone, which means (as far as i know) delete all the songs already on the iPhone and put the ones on the iPhone which you have in iTunes. I do want to keep the songs i already have on my iPhone but i also want new songs!! Any ideas of how i can put new songs from my laptop to my iPhone without synchronising????????!!!
help would be appreciated since it's kind of starting to annoy me now..
    thanks already

I have the same problem. I purchased a new computer apple gives u this thing where it can authorize the computer but wont allow you to use the music from your itunes #1 to put on itunes#2. I contacted apple support and was informed that it could be done yet he couldnt tell me b/c it wasnt supported by apple. He said it was via some third party company that it could be done and told me to come to this forum in hopes someone posted it. He also told me to try and google the answer and one final and last resort was to export the music from itunes #1 and place on a disk and upload that music to itune#2. Oh well not gonna work for me for my hard drive to itunes#1 is 300 miles away.
It's kinda strange that there was a situation where we could have put all this music on itunes#1 with the same phone not be able to be loaded onto a nother comupter what a waste!!!

  • How to transfer images and music from PC (Windows 7) to iPhone?

    Hello:
Could someone please inform me how can I transfer images and music from a PC (Windows 7) to my iPhone (3GS)?

    Hi, RichardParker,
I have also meet problems to transfer music from PC to iPhone, and I had solved it now. You can do the following steps,
    1. Copy music to your phone memory
    2. Exported contacts to SD Card (on Android phone) in VCard format
    3. Transfered VCard file from SD Card to PC
    4. Created a Google Account
    5. Opened the Google Account from a browser (on PC), go to Contacts, and then uploaded VCard contacts to the Google account
    6. Configured the iPhone (using a separate Windows user account - so as to allow for importing pictures & videos through iTunes)
    7. Created a "CardDAV" account on the iPhone and synchronised all Contacts
If you have any question ,you can ask me about iPhone Transfer. And I hope the steps above works.

  • IPhone 4 does not save sent mail?

    My 3Gs always did.
Now when I send a message from the iPhone 4, it is not in my "sent mail" folder. 100% of the time, sent mail isn't there.
I use IMAP, and mail sent from my Macbooks does show up in the sent mail folder on the iPhone & all other computers. Same incoming & outgoing servers are specified on the iPhone & Macbooks.
Why does any mail sent from the iPhone not show up in the sent mail folder?

Thanks to Weaverdrew. I could fix the problem with the guidelines provided by Weaversrew.
The iPhone 4 & iPhone 5 users may adopt the following line of action :
It's simple but really confusing, surprising, insensible & ridiculous. This may be the flaw or mistake in iOS 4 & 5.
Go to the advance settings of your email settings & choose the option - "on the server" instead of "on my iPhone" for all your junk, trash & sent folders individually & your iPhone gets synchronised with the server & thereafter your deleted mails get moved to the trash folder of your server & also the mails sent are shown in your sent folder.

  • Lost everything after synchronisation????!!!!!

Hi, can anyone help me out?
I've lost ALL purchased songs and apps on my iPhone after synchronising with iTunes.
    Background:
    - Windows got stuck and was unrecoverable
    - Reinstalled Windows
    - Reintstalled iTunes
    - Synchronised iPhone with iTunes
    - Lost ALL purchased songs and apps that were on the iPhone
How can I recover this? PLEASE HELP!!

If you didn't make a back-up of your purchased songs to restore from (as you are advised to do) then I'm sorry to say that the policy on lost purchases is that you have to pay to download them again:
"Once a Product is purchased and you receive the Product, it is your responsibility not to lose, destroy, or damage the Product, and Apple shall be without liability to you in the event of any loss, destruction, or damage." iTunes Store: Purchased content can be downloaded only once
Purchased applications can be downloaded over again, see this article for details: How to redownload purchased applications from the App Store
You could try contacting iTunes Store Customer Service and you might be able to persuade them to sanction a second free download. There have been occasional reports in the iTunes forum of this happening, however just be aware that they are not under any obligation to do so. If you click on this link you'll be able to email your query: Customer Service - iTunes Store Support
