Iphone facebook chat heads isnt working only on my facebook account
The new faebook update has involved new chat, that is called ChatHeads. I cant use it only with my personal Facebook account, but with other fb accounts yes. Please if you know the solution help me.

Can I use Google Sync to transfer only my contacts from my IPhone 4 to my gmail account? I do not want to sync info from Gmail to the IPhone. Can the sync work only one-way? You do realize that the SIM only contains account information for your wireless account.
Moving the SIM from phone to phone does not cause any of your iTunes content, contacts, email, etc to magically appear on the device. -

You could try syncing the contacts with yahoo or google contacts, then sync them to the iPhone. Or, export the contacts and then import them into one of the aforementioned servicse, or iCloud, then sync to the phone.

I have loaded Lion on my MacBook and the new trackpad functions work only on one ordinary account or user and not on the admin account. The trackpad preferences are well set. What can I do?
iCloud should still help you reduce some hard drive space. Just select "optimize" in the icloud tab in Mac Photo App preferences.
Granted, not the same as completely offloading your library to a back-up drive at your location.

Facebook 6.0.2 version chat heads not working

I am using iPhone 4s with ios 6.1.3, I have downloaded the new version of facebook 6.0.2 version but i am not able to access the chat heads which is a new feature I checked with my friend its working fine for all, I reinstalled the software still its not working. Can any one help me how to make it workI tried to find an actual tech support number or any kind of email address NO LUCK.. Help Center is the only thing that I was being directed to from google and stuff.. And that doesn't do much at all.. I have don "Report A Bug" and writing a review on the app but I don't think my problem is being handled at all.. Im kind of just waiting/hoping to see if they roll out chat heads that don't crash or fail in an update or just a patch to fix what's wrong right now.

I updated the facebook app today and the chat heads are not working and also whenever the app crashes or I log out the layout completely changes and a bar appears at the bottom of the screen instead of the sidebar. This is really annoying.

Hello. I sent my WRT1900AC V1 to Linksys four days ago (Monday) via UPS with a RMA. Linksys paid the shipping and everything. The router is still in route, and it should arrive to their offices tomorrow. Once they receive the WRT1900 AC V1, they are going to send me an EA8500 as a replacement. But I have been reading the comments about the EA8500 here in the forum and it seems to have the same problems. I guess the firmware is extremely flawed in both routers (maybe it is almost the same code?). Anyway, I will try the EA8500 and I hope it works. I bought a temporary router from Walmart and I paid $35 for it. It is a Belink N600 DB. I can't believe that a $35 router is working a lot, lot, lot better than my previous $250 WRT1900AC router. Unbelievable. If the EA8500 doesn't work, I'm going to try and get my money back from Linksys, or contact The Consumerist or someone to get my money back and get a Nighthawk instead.

After being connected to a charging source overnight try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

i had a problem with my new iphone i bought recently. first of all i want to mention that i am an android user, and this is my first iphone. i am also using a xperia ion alond with my iphone. so basically the problem is i have installed the atest facebook messenger in both my cellphones i was quite engoying the net chat head/bubble option of the new fb messenger. but today all of a sudden the chat heads stopped comming in by iphone (but its ok with my xperia). i get my facebook messeges in my iphone like normal notifications but the chat heads are not comming and i am really tired checking each and evry setting to fix this up.....
and again, i have never seen an iphone freezing, (till now i had a belief that iphone never freezes) but my new iphone freezes every time i open the game batman arkham city lockdown(the game is Bought from the appstore), the iphone is putting down my expectations. anyway, can any one please tell me the solutions of these problems, or atleast help me with the facebook messenger.

I had the same problem as well for nearly 3 months.
I had tried bring the Iphone into my phone carrier and they sent me to the AppleStore. When I brought it to them they hooked it up to the diagnostic machine and they told me just to restart the Iphone from the factory settings.
This didn't work either. To complicate things more, other "solutions" seem to only yield temporary success. These temporary solutions included: blowing compressed air into every port, various restart combinations, various factory restore methods.
I had nearly given up until I stumbled upon a support post on Apple's website that finally yielded success.

The solution for me is listed as line 7, which reads:
"Check the receiver mesh (which is on the top front of the device, above the display). If it appears blocked, use a clean, small, dry, soft-bristled brush to carefully and gently brush away any debris."
Apparently, this cylinder shaped, mesh area is in some way tied to what triggers the headphones/speaker selection. I am not sure how, but I can say that after gently brushing it out my sounds are working again; specifically my music is now able to play directly off the speakers and my Iphone apps all play their sounds agian.

Using iPhone 5 and was able to send and receive texts and calls up top about ten days ago. Nothing else has changed as far as I know.

iphone 4: Home Button Not Working. The home button only works when it is connected to iTunes, once i disconnet it does not work, i have tried a restore to factory settings but it still is not working. Any suggestions?
Apple, as I said, does not repair your iPhone. All hardware service issues are handled by replacing the unit. So they can't handle the home-button issue without also addressing the issue of the cracked screen, for which they'll almost certainly charge you. But you can make an appointment at an Apple Store or call Apple tech support and plead your case.

I have 2 iphones, 1 personal and 1 business. I thought I was supposed to have 2 separate itunes accounts. I now have a work ipad and want to only have 1 itunes account that I can use for all 3 devices. How do I cancel 1 account or just combine the 2?
I want to be able to transfer my apps from my original itunes account that I have on my personal iphone 3 and work ipad 3 to my work iphone 4S ,as well as purchase more more apps for the work iphone with the original itunes account. Plus I need to sync all 3 of them with my work tower computer. I really appreciate you're trying to help me out.

Mail password doesn't work only with my Airport unit with MacBook, iPhone, iPad
Starting a couple of weeks ago, and every week for a few hours, my mail password will be rejected on my MacBook, iPad and iPhone when connected through my Airport Extreme. I'm not sure whether this is related to the firmware upgrade I did two weeks ago. It had never happened before.
The password is correct. When I connect from any of these devices through another network, it works fine. The problem only occurs with Mail, and only through my particular Airport Extreme (4th generation N) unit.
All other Internet access through this unit works fine.
The mail account is an IMAP account through Intermedia. An Exchange account with Intermedia (a separate mailbox) works fine on both my computer using Microsoft Outlook and iPhone Mail.
The last time this happened, the problem randomly fixed itself within a few hours. Now it's happening again.
Any ideas or suggestions?Fixed itself again two hours later. Intermedia is not reporting any problems and since the other mail account (on the same server) works fine, I don't think it relates to them.
