Iphone failing to restore

Hi,
I have just updated to IOs 7 , prior to doing this i created a back up, and this back up shows up on i tunes. During the update to IOS7 my phone went onto recovery mode and is now at factory settings with none of my info or photos on its IOS7.
I have tried to restore through itunes, but its says "Itunes could not restore the iphone, because the back up could not be saved on this computer"
Im not trying to save, im trying to restore from a successful restore point??

Thanks for your answer.
I tried turning off my Airport Extreme router for about five minutes earlier today. No luck: restore from iCloud failed after an hour and a half with the message that the iPhone was not connected to the internet. I also tried to connect the ADSL modem directly to my MacBook Air, sharing its internet connection over wifi my my iPhone 4S with the exact same result.

My iPhone 4 fails to restore. Using iTunes, at step 3 of 4, displays "Restarting Sync" and goes to step 1 of 4, and then forever.

It all started with a blank screen on a frozen iPhone. Doing the sleep and home button reset seemd to solve the problem, but then the apple logo started to show in the middle of calls, and finally, mail, camera, facebook and pulse apps failed to start, returning to the home screen after a few seconds. So it looked like a restore with ITunes was the solution. I was able to back up the iPhone. The restore process sems to start fine, but the process cycles forever, at step 3 of 4, display "Restarting Sync" and goes again. It seems it can´t pass from step 3.
I have tried doing the restore from recovery mode with the same result. IOS is 6 and ITunes is 10.7.
An interesting thing, is that as I kiled the restore process and disconnected the iPhone from the USB cable connected at the Mac Book and then used the phone as "Normal" it seemed that all the data and settings where restored, but not the apps; camera and mail keep failing to start, but the interesting thing is that the battery drains very quickly, in a matter of 4 hours.
Any suggestions or ideas will be very welcomed.

Try Recovery Mode:
1. Start iTunes.
2. Plug phone into a USB port on the computer, not an external hub or keyboard port.
3. Press both home and sleep/wake buttons until the Apple logo reappears, then continue pressing the home button alone until iTunes detects the phone in Recovery Mode.
4. Follow the prompts to restore.
If recovery mode doesn't work, you likely have a hardware problem that needs service/replacement

Try these steps to resolve the issue:
Install the latest version of iTunes.
Restart your computer.
Make sure your computer is up to date. If an update requires a restart, check for updates again after you restart.
Learn more about updating OS X.
Learn more about updating Windows.
Restore using another USB cable.
Restore your device on another computer.
If you continue to see error 4005, 4013, or 4014 when you restore your device, contact Apple for support.

The phone was jailbroken. That's what that error indicates. You can't get help here. You can't get help from Apple.
Try Google.

Iphone 4 fails to restore error (-1), any solutions? Apple has none...

My five month old iPhone 4 is failing to restore and shows an error number of (-1). As seems to be standard of low customer service with Apple it is not listed in their troubleshooting guide online. Is there any way to fix this without sending Apple another few hundred dollars to fix it?

If you have tried multiple computers and were unable to get that to work, with a phone that is 5 months old, like I said earlier, it is under warranty. The only way to get past the cost of Apple phone support, which is only free for 90 days unless you purchase Apple Care, is to make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the closest Apple store and take the phone in. That is free support and they should be able to diagnose the problem. I'm not sure what you are referring to as a common iOS5 software problem, because if it was so common, there would be other posts here referring to it. Try the Genius Bar, they are the next step in troubleshooting.

Just tried to update iPhone 4S to 6.1 and it first of all failed to back up then it failed to update so i had to put it in recovery mode and restore it then it failed to restore starting to think its an itunes issue does anyone have any advice?

if your computer is not recognizing it, try using a different USB port or different usb cable. if that doesnt work you will need to uninstall and reinstall itunes.

Ignore: To repair an iPod disk—Restore the iPod or iPod shuffle using the latest version of iTunes.

Image Processor.jsx bug (CS3, 10.0.1): fail to restore history item sometimes

I have very limited history depth (5 items) to conserve my RAM.
When I run "Image Processor" script, which calls some complex Action, "Image Processor" fails to restore history item (because it was dropped already) in this lines (tere is same line for every save file type):
app.activeDocument.activeHistoryState = historyState;
This line(s) throw exception (file was saved, really!), and file remains open and after processing 10-15 files computer starts to thrash.
I've surrounded all these lines with try { ... } catch(e) {} and it works for me.
IMHO, it here are two bad ideas in this script:
(1) Consider every and any exception as error. In this case, history is not a thing I care about
(2) Don't close files in case of error. It can fill up RAM & scratch disk very quickly.

Update Server
Try:
- Powering off and then back on your router.
- iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers
Public DNS — Google Developers
OpenDNS IP Addresses
- For one user uninstalling/reinstalling iTunes resolved the problem
- Try on another computer/network
- Wait if it is an Apple problem

I can't turn on my Ipad after it failed to restore.

Yesterday I tried to update firmware on my Ipad from 4.3.5 to 5.1.1. After the download process was done itunes tried to syns with my Ipad, after a while it showed the message as it failed to restore my Ipad and my device list disappear from itunes. My Ipad screen appears as the black screen with an itunes icon and usb. Then I tried to plug it in on my PC but it doesn't show device list. So I turn off and turn my Ipad back on but it still show that black screen with an itunes icon and usb still. Anyone know how to fix this problem?

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect to your computer & click on the "Update your device using iTunes".
Tip - Disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. After you update to iOS 5.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

Will I lose everything on my iphone if I restore it. photos, contacts, music

It will erase everything.
If you have been using the iphone as designed, tehn everything will be on your computer, and you can sync it back.
You should be importing all pics taken with the iphone to your comptuer regularly as you would with any digital camera.
You should have been syncing your iphone contacts with your computer from day one.
All music should be on your computer in itunes.
Have you failed to do these things?

Hi,
I was updating the itune and meanwhile my iphone 4S cable disconnected and it failed to restore. Afterward, phone shows itune logo on screen with plugin cable sign. When i connect to the pc(latest version window 8) itune shows "the itune has detected iphone in recovery mode. you must restore this iphone before it can be used with itune".
When i follow further instruction i got above problem again and again.
I did follwoing things -
1. restart PC
2. restart iphone
3. uninstalled itune and downloaded new itune with latest version
4. I removed all the apple aplication from pc than downleaded itune
5. removed all usb cable
6. Restart pc seveal time
Still i am facing same problem
