IPhone Feedback Link?

I was reading through the iPhone>Phone forum and I noticed a couple of posts requesting if anyone knew where to leave feedback for Apple in regards to the iPhone and when I went to check on the http://www.apple.com/feedback/ page for a link to post for them I was surprised to find it still is not there.
Is this something that normally takes awhile after the release of a product to have a feedback link posted there?
It didn't make sense to me that it wasn't there with such a huge product release as this. I assume one could post feedback for the iPhone to the iPod feedback link but that seemed rather confusing and not really appropriate for the seperate product of the iPhone.
Anyone know what's up with that?
regards,

Good call, littleshoulders. I've been hoping that one would show up soon, too ...
If I recall correctly, it took a wee while before the Apple TV feedback form showed up (after the Apple TV went on sale). Fingers crossed, It'll just be a short delay with an iPhone feedback form.
It maaaaaay also be of some help if we submit a feedback request for a product feedback form. Thinking that the Apple.com feedback form might be the best one for that:

  • IPhone Feedback

So, I have a question for everyone. I have been to the iPhone feedback link MANY times to give Apple some ideas, make requests and suggestions and I was wondering, do you think that anyone actually gives a hoot at Apple about what the consumers really want to see in future updates to the iPhone? It just seems odd that no matter what forum or chat room you look in, there are lots of requests and hopes that will be included in future updates and none of these are even included in the updates. What gives??

Unfortunately, I don't think that MMS should be in a priority category since the iPhone should have been able to do this function as it is. I mean, the free phones that you can get from ANY cell provider can do MMS so why can't a very expensive fancy phone? I understand that you can just "email" the photos, but that raises another issue. Why can't you add attachments to an email rather than having to send 30 emails for 30 separate pictures instead of 1 email with 30 pictures. AND not all regular cell phones have the capability of accessing an email account so even if we as iPhone owners/users can just email photos to someone else's phone, they may not be able to receive them either. What ever happened to iPhone users getting an SMS notification that we have been sent a multimedia message and to please visit this one website so that we can view the picture? Well, it would be nice to at least get that back, but then it ***** again because you have to REMEMBER the user name and password when you get to the viewmymessages.com website because the iPhone doesn't have a copy, cut or paste option either. I know, I know, just buck up and deal with it and I can, however these shouldn't be things that we should even have to talk about, they should already be a function on the phone. Well, regardless, I still love my iPhone, just wish that I could one up those BB users.

  • IPhone Suggestion Link?

Does anyone know of a link to Apple for iPhone suggestions? If not, then I will explain my issue in hopes that an Apple minion will pass it along. (Unless I'm just totally missing something here.)
My issue is with the new iOS 4's Multitasking interface. It assumes that EVERY app I open needs to remain open until I close it. That's just not Apple-like to me. Just look at this. Starting with zero apps running, open the Calculator. Now D-click the Home button. As you can see the calc app is not in the MT Dock.
If you want the calc to close you must click the Home button once. This sends the calc app to the MT Dock and returns to the Home Screen. D-click the Home button to see the MT Dock and there is the calc app. Touch it and hold till it wiggles. Press the minus to close it.
Let's see, that's one click, one D-click, one touch and hold, and one touch, and then you need to either press the Home button once or touch the screen to return to the Home Screen. 5 steps to close an app. Maybe its just me but that is an awful lot of interfacing just to close an app.
Here's the way it should work: *Almost exactly the same way it used to.* Open any app, click the Home Button once to close and save it. That's it! Now, if you WANT an app to remain open in the background, D-Click the Home Button to send it to the MT Dock. When you do this, there should be a nice animation that shows the app going to the MT Dock, and shows the MT Dock at this time. From there you can launch another Docked app or return to the Home Screen to open another. So simple. A single click will close and save. A D-click will leave the app 'open' and place it in the MT Dock. Apple, you added the MT Dock and capabilities, so just add a D-Click to control it and leave the rest as it was…Please. I may be wrong but I think this will change. I hope so. I very rarely need Multitasking, but lately I seem to be closing an awful lot of apps that are in my MT Dock.
    Later....

Here is the feedback link: http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html
However, you don't really understand the purpose of the recent apps bar. It's just a list of recently used apps, not running apps. Unless you intentionally leave something running, a music app like the iPod app or Pandora or a navigation app like TomTom or Navigon, you can ignore the apps in the recent apps bar. When you click the home button from apps like the Calculator, it is suspended. It is not doing anything. You do not need to close it.If you are playing a game optimized for OS 4 and you get a phone call, you can answer the call and then return to the game just as you left it.
If you are playing music using Pandora and you click the home button, it will continue to play. If you pause the music and then click the home button, Pandora is suspended. You don't need to close it. If you left Pandora playing and later want to stop the music, you can access Pandora (or whatever) from either the recent apps bar or from the home screen.
Read this excellent article: http://whenwillapple.com/blog/2010/04/19/iphone-os-4-multitasking-explained-agai n/ and stop worrying about what's happening in the "multitasking" bar.

  • Is there a feedback link?

Is there a feedback link for the AirPort Express like there is for an iPhone? I'd like to send some feedback about the need for them to update the Express to 'n' so that it can work with the Extreme set on 'n.' I want the Express, I just don't want to run in b/g compatible mode.

It doesn't look like it. But there is one for the AirPort Extreme at www.apple.com/feedback/airportextreme.html

  • How do I change the itunes account my iphone is linked to?

My wife and I both have Itunes accounts but somehow my iphone is linked to her account. I simply want to link my iphone to my account and can't discover how to do this. Should be very simple I guess but if i try and edit her ID on Itunes by putting mine in, it says that I can't as my ID is already in use!! Aagh!

My recommendation would be to set this up as a brand new iPhone, just as if it came out of the box.
Do that in Settings > General > Reset > Erase all content and settings
You will then be directed to the welcome to iPhone screen, just as you would with a brand new device.

You are absolutely WRONG. Apple bears no responsibility in this at all. YOU purchased a STOLEN phone. You are guilty of receiving stolen property at best. Take it back to wherever you bought it and demand a refund. Failing that, turn it over to the police. You got ripped off. I'm sorry you wasted your money, but there is NOTHING Apple or anyone else can do for you. Only the rightful owner of the phone can unlock it.

  • HT204053 My Iphone is linked to my wifes Iphone. Want to seperate and establish my own Icloud acct. How can I do that ?

My Iphone is linked to my wife's Iphone. Want to seperate and establish my own Icloud account. How can this be done.

First go to Settings>iCloud and turn all data that is syncing with iCloud (contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off.  When prompted choose to keep the data on the iPhone.  After everything is turned off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.  (This will only delete the account from this phone, not from iCloud.  The other phone will not be effected by this.)  Next, set up a new iCloud account on this phone using a different Apple ID and turn iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. back to On.  When prompted, choose Merge.  This will upload the data to this new account.  At this point you will have two different iCloud accounts, one for each phone, with identical data on them.
You will then have to go to icloud.com on your computer and sign into each iCloud account separately and manually delete the other person's data from your account.  These changes will be reflected on each phone;  when you're finished you will have individual iCloud accounts with just your own data in them.

  • My iphone is linked with my ex girlfriends and she gets every contact i add, we even use to be able each others messages when we were apart

i iphone is linked with my ex's every contact i add, she gets, it use to be so bad that, whenever i texted another person, she would get the messages that i sent, they would appear on her phone

To stop getting each other's text messages one of you needs to go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the Apple ID, sign out, then sign back in with a different ID.
To stop getting each other's iCloud data, one of you needs to change iCloud accounts.  To do this, save any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll, then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted, then sign back in with a different ID to create your new account and choose Merge to upload your data.

  • IPods and my iPhone have linked text messages. I want this stopped

My granddaughters iPods and my iPhone have linked text messages.  How do I stop this?

If they have the same Apple ID, that is why it is happening. If the phone is using the phone number, remove the Apple ID from the Send & Receive section on the phone. That way it is only using the phone number. Then check the iPod and you can remove the phone number from that list of Send & Receive as well, so it is only using the Apple ID.
