Iphone freeze after update 1.1.1
i have been using my iphone for 4 days and it had been working fine till itunes updated 1.1.1 on it and ever since, its been showin sim locked. is there and way i can undo the update as when iphones connected to itunes my phone doesnt show any more. pls help!!!
Maybe you have a defective SIM card. Take it to AT&T and have them give you a new one. Then sync again.

I have some troubles with my Iphone 4. Factory Unlocked. I just updated my phone to 5.1.1 and it started to freez. I can`t use it. Because when i press home it just freeze and i have to restart it by Home+Power. But it doesn`t help because after restart it freezing again. I tried to restore-no result. All this problem started after updating.. Please help me.. Because now i can`t it turn on.. After last freezing it turned off by itself. Any idea? I don`t want to belive that my phone "dead"
I want to make some remarks:
Decided to make dumping of cellular data of a network. phone restarted and that`s all... Light-emitting diode illumination at the screen burns, but the screen is black. Home+Power doesn't help, held and 15 seconds and 2 and 5 minutes. I tried to connect to a computer by USB and result -Connected Device it is not identified. And of course itunes doesn`t find it...

Not a good sign. Try forcing the phone into recovery mode & restoring it. If this fails, make an appointment at an Apple store:
Turn your phone off. Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. I'm using Iphone 5 .After updating it with the latest software i.e iOS 7.0.6 I'm not able to see the wats app and imsg on my notification center when my phone is locked until and unless i activate the "Show on Lock Screen" under each application. which was not same as in the earlier software version.I dnt want my messages or watsapp msges to be displayed on home screen when locked but should be displayed on the notification center on lock condition.
Please suggest a solution or @Apple please get a software release which can remove this bug .We aren't Apple, just users like you. Have you tried a reset? Hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)

We've an article that provides the following troubleshooting steps that may help stabilize your iPhone.
If the device is unresponsive or if certain controls aren't working as expected, restart your device.
If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), reset your device.
If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:
If you are using an iPad, ensure that it's connected to the USB Power Adapter supplied with the device.
Let it charge for at least twenty minutes, then see if it starts normally.
If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.
If the screen displays a red battery icon, continue charging the device until the battery is fully charged. Learn more about charging iPhone and iPod touch, or iPad.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, or the if the screen remains black or shows a persistent Apple logo, try restoring with iTunes:
Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane. Learn more aboutrestoring iOS software.
If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try to force the device into recovery mode, and then restore it.

make sure the outgoing (smtp server) has the updated password also. settings>mail,contact,calendars>then at account>it will say outgoing, smtp or advanced. after clicking on the smtp it will have an option to change that password, delete it and add ur new one

iPhone 4 after updating to iOS 5.0.1 I can no longer send emails. I get a message saying the recipients "email address" was rejected by the server. Incoming still works fine.
SMS is a carrier feature, what did your phone carrier say when you contacted them about your issue?
Double check you have MMS turn on in message settings. -

There is no way to go back. You can try reseating your nanoSIM or replacing it. Or call your cell provider and have them check the provisioning on your phone.
Or Restore your iPhone from your backup in iTunes. -
