IPhone freeze at Logo after Reseting.

I decided to reset my iPhone after getting it back from my dad. I reseted all its contents VIA iPhone settings, but after its done reseting, it turns on but stops at the Apple Logo screen. After the first minute it shows the little circle loading icon, but freezes then restart again. How can I fix this?

Me too...How did you get it working?

  • Iphone 3g got stuck in apple logo after resetting

I tried to reset my iphone3g with the option which will delete all the datas and medias from the settings of iphone. It said it would take one hour or so to complete but its more than three hours and my iphone wont start.it gets stucked in the apple logo after restarting and the circle of working appears continuously. What should i do? Any help

See if you can force the phone into recovery mode:
Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, itunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new. In your case, select"new".

  • Flashing Apple Logo after Reset

hi! help!!?!!?!?! i tried the five r's. i swear! after resetting, my apple just flashes the logo on and off. that's it. it doesn't go any farther. i can get it to go to disk mode, but then what would i do from there? i've let it die and recharged a couple of times and that doesn't seem to help either. does anyone have any suggestions?
i have a 1st generation ipod that i got in april. this is the first time i've had a problem that i can't seem to solve by looking at the apple support!
      Windows XP

    Matt,
That is very helpful, except it also seems that I'm having trouble with Itunes reading my IPod. (This is a new problem!) Windows registers it, but not Itunes. Of interest, my roommate's account on XP has her IPOD and she is not having trouble syncing or anything. How is that possible? We're on the same computer!

so please everyone every help is appreciated
    thanks

Thanks, Lex for the reply whether or not you meant it for me. I'd already noticed that article, and the first time I called Apple about the issue the support tech said her preference was to do the updates and restores from inside iTunes. In that article Kelly recommends updating although there's not nearly enough evidence that Apple's first three fully-botched attempts at 8.x have failed miserably for reliability.
That recognized, Apple still hasn't solved the problem. From having run a mixed OS network from soup to nuts, I *know* the cases about this I've seen and read stretching back four calendar years are simply the tip of a larger iceberg. Most people don't have the wherewithal to suffer through a corporation's ham-handed, fat-fingered attempts at a solution and they lose interest in it. Apple literally banks on users' complacency or apathy in their corporate spin.

  • Gen. 2 iPod Touch is stuck on Apple Boot Logo after Resetting Data/Settings

My iPod Touch hadn't been getting recognized by iTunes and my music wouldn't sync onto it so I went into the Settings app and clicked Reset Data & Settings (the 4 hour long reset) and waited while the bar slowly moved until it finally restarted and showed the Apple Boot Logo. I then waited for about 20-30 minutes for my iPod to turn on and it never did, so I reset it by holding the Power+Home button and that didn't do anything as it was still stuck on the Apple Boot Logo. Then I remembered I could have just put my iPod into DFU or Recovery mode to get iTunes to recognize it to reset it, so i tried to put my iPod into both modes and it wouldn't go into them. So I went to bed and just woke up and it's still stuck. I'm afraid I might have bricked my iPod, and I'm out of my warranty I believe. Does anyone know ANYTHING I could try? I don't care about data loss seeing as I already tried resetting the whole thing.

If it is still doing it after a restore, you most likely have a hardware issue.

  • Iphone 4 not responding after reset

i have went and reset my iphone 4 via the settings on the phone.
It closed down and went and reset but has been stuck on the black screen witht the white apple for over 3 hours.
I have tried to connect it via the itunes to see if it would resart but i have had no luck

This also happens when the user is restoring a jailbroken device-the Apple logo appears and nothing else happens.
Try putting your device in DFU (restore) mode by holding the power button and home button until the screen goes dark. Release the power button and continue holding the home button until iTunes detects that your device is in restore mode. After iTunes has detected that your device is in reset mode, click on restore and iTunes will download and install the latest iPhone Software file.
MAKE SURE THAT YOUR DEVICE IS CONNECTED TO iTunes BEFORE DOING THIS!

All of the above was not helpfull. Some times my phone start working slow and sometimes it's normal. Some times it's touch stop responding.
I tried everything by restoring and starting as a new iphone, hard resetting but nothing helps. I'm really sick of all this specially homebutton problem.

  • Ipod stuck on logo after reset

i reset my ipod touch 5G (holding home and power butons) and now it won't come back on. I have been waiting for over 5 minutes and counting please help.

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • How do I restore Find My iPhone (version 3.0) after resetting an iPhone 4 (OS 7.1.2)?

I have an older iPhone 4 which can't be upgraded to the new OS 8, and had to reset it. Everything was restored from back-up except the Find My iPhone app which is now version 4.0 and requires OS 8 or greater. Is there a way to revert the Find My iPhone app to 3.0 - or is there a download site that supports 3.0?

hey danbi, thanks for the reply.  I went to icloud, but there was nothing new there, went through that whole process when I updated to iSO 5.1.  I can't find how to get it started on my PC.  I have no working icon anywhere.  The icon only appears in my apps folder, but doesn't do anything when I click on it except get a blue ring around it.   When I right click, I have the following options, get info; show in windows explorer; and delete. Any other suggestions?

  • IPhone 3GS cannot reboot after reset of data

Hi, I have an iPhone 3GS that is not able to reboot or restart. It just gets stuck in the apple screen forever. I recently tried to reset the data in the phone. This is the result....

Follow the below steps and you are all set no worries:
1- shutdown your iphone with the hard reset "home button and power for 10 second"
2- connect the usb cable to the pc but NOT to the iphone"
    3- open itunes
4- while the iphone is off, press the home button for 5-10 seconds then plus the other end of the white connection cable into the iphone
5- do not remove your finger from the home button
6- itunes will detect it and you can now restore it
I got this info from a good teacher it worked fine for me. Hope it helps you too.
