IPhone freezes - when on a call, I can't get to main menu.
When I receive a call and answer it, after the screen goes black(still on the call).. I cannot access the main menu when I hit the home button. So if another call comes in, I can't see it on the phone. Has anyone had a similar problem, and if so how did you fix it?
This has been happening since day 1, I have tried resetting the settings, the only thing I have not done is do a complete restore. I had this issue before the 3.0 upgrade ad after.

I am wondering if others are having the problem with your iPhone freezing when you are on a call and another calls comes in. I have had this problem repeatedly. If I try to answer a call while on another call, the other caller can not hear me. when I try and hang up the call...iPhone freezes and disconnects ALL calls.
I do not have a problem if I initiate BOTH calls for a conference call. I am hoping that Apple is aware of this issue and are working on a fix in the next update. Whenever that will be???
Oh well, if you are having this problem and know how to fix it...please let me know. ThanksI have noticed that during or at the end of a conference call when one party hangs up all parties have always been disconnected. I can tell you that if this is the way it works normally, this is not the way is should work. This is a pain in the butt when it is necessary to call one of the parties back since that party is also trying to call you back. You both get a busy signal.
I do not have a problem answering a second call during a time when I am on a first call. It will place the first call on hold and I will only be talking to the second party. It should work that way. My iPhone works that way.
It should also allow you to add the second call to the first call through the 'merge' feature so that both the first and second calls can be joined together. My iPhone works that way.
My previous Treo worked great on these situations but I do have burps with the iPhone.
I think that the problem is with the iPhone and AT&T interface in these conditions.

Is there a case on the iphone?
If so, then remove it and see if that solves it.

When receiving an call waiting can't push the hold and answer button.Because: it will put on hold the first caller, answer to the second, but you can't hear the second until you end the first call !!! Anyone has the same problem ? Did anyone know why ?

Check your email account. see if they are their, You can then import them on your DAV card, The best thing to is add them to icoud then they will be safe.

I have a problem when I receive calls I can not hear well or when it cuts, like when I pass calls. I have to put the earphone. someone has the same problem?
I solved it myself, after the "note" which came back from FF/Mozilla just as I finished my message, commenting on what it was that my system had , I wnnt back to check my plug-ins etc. I downloaded the latest Java, BOTH 32bit AND 64 bit versions and latest Firefox.
Now all is working.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

That's weird that these iphones are restored/activated through iTunes. I have a Apple so I have iTunes, yay!! I am guessing that the link that you gave me will tell how to put this iphone into Recovery mode? Now, this old iphone would of been activated on his laptop, which is with him and he is out of state. I have a new Apple, his new iphone would of been activated on our new Apple computer because he was here for Christmas and he didn't bring his laptop with him, or did he bring it with him, I don't remember now.... Now the question is, will I be able to restore his old iphone on my new computer seeing it would of activated on his laptop which is with him out of state.
