Iphone freezes while messaging
earlier today i was texting someone and i exited the sms. as it was exiting someone texted me so i clicked reply right away and what happened after that my phone froze then did a auto restart. has that happen to anyone
You will find that now and then just about any application will crash on you. Remember, it is a computer and a first generation OS. Think of it like Win95.

What worked for me was to force restart the iPhone (while disconnected from docking station) SEVERAL times. After 1 force restart I would connect to the Mac and it would have an error.
I took someone's advice and restarted the iPhone 3 times, then the Mac... made sure I had latest iTunes software, and restored the iPhone to full capacity.

My iphone 6 plus freezes while typing. doesn't matter if I'm typing a text message or a URL the problem is everywhere. My collegue at my work has the same problem. I can still continue to type when it freezes, and when it unfreeze the letters are filled in like there's no tomorrow. It all started with iOS 8
It doesn't matter if it is Swedish layout or English layout on the keyboard.

To get in the horizontal and enlarged keyboard of the iPhone, simply hold the iPhone or iDevice in a horizontal manner. The gyroscope in the device will automatically sense this and will make the keyboard horizontal.
P.S You could tell us the app you are using unless you are using the the default SMS/ Mail app, because some apps do not support the horizontal keyboard.

IPhone freezing while running. Help??
Hi, my iPhone 4 keeps freezing when I use it while running. It only happens during/after running, and the music will still play but the touch does not work. I've been restarting it each time, but sometimes I have to restart it a couple times for it to work. How can I fix this?

2 iPhones freeze while upgrading to iOS v7.1.2.
Two iPhones keep hanging on upgrade to iOS v7.1.2. They both seem to freeze on same phase of upgrade procedure. Does anybody have a solution?

My wife and I both have iphone 4, While messaging, the message is posted on both phones, when only 1 was chosen. Today I received a message from a buddy and my wife also received the message. Any thoughts. I have reset my settings.
On your wifes phone go to settings - message - send&receive - remove or uncheck the apple id.

Iphone5 screen freezes while checking messages
I have a problem with my iphone 5; it's quite common that the screen freezes while i'm checking my text messages... It doesn't stay that way very long, just a couple of seconds (like 10 sec maybe)... And then it goes back to normal...
It perfectly works with other apps though... Has anyone had that problem before? Do you know what should be done? Should i take my phone to the Apple store?

I tried to update the software of my iphone 3gs while charging with my Macbook Pro. While the phone was restarting after installation, in the setting up my phone menu, it stops midway with a message in itunes on the laptop that there is no simcard.
Then put a SIM in. You cannot activate an iPhone without a compatible Sim.

Problems with iPhone freezing when trying to answer while on another call?
I am wondering if others are having the problem with your iPhone freezing when you are on a call and another calls comes in. I have had this problem repeatedly. If I try to answer a call while on another call, the other caller can not hear me. when I try and hang up the call...iPhone freezes and disconnects ALL calls.
I do not have a problem if I initiate BOTH calls for a conference call. I am hoping that Apple is aware of this issue and are working on a fix in the next update. Whenever that will be???
Oh well, if you are having this problem and know how to fix it...please let me know. ThanksI have noticed that during or at the end of a conference call when one party hangs up all parties have always been disconnected. I can tell you that if this is the way it works normally, this is not the way is should work. This is a pain in the butt when it is necessary to call one of the parties back since that party is also trying to call you back. You both get a busy signal.
I do not have a problem answering a second call during a time when I am on a first call. It will place the first call on hold and I will only be talking to the second party. It should work that way. My iPhone works that way.
It should also allow you to add the second call to the first call through the 'merge' feature so that both the first and second calls can be joined together. My iPhone works that way.
My previous Treo worked great on these situations but I do have burps with the iPhone.
I think that the problem is with the iPhone and AT&T interface in these conditions.

Iphone 5c freezes while texting
My iphone keeps freezing while texting for about 15-20 seconds. Especially if I go back to correct a text and move the cursor. I've tried resetting all settings and problem is still persisting.
Did you try restarting your phone? Do you have space left on your phone or is it close to the limit? (this tends to make phones slower). Is it happening only when you text or also when you search something on Safari or send a tweet or anything?

My iPad Air always freezes during FaceTime calls using wifi. I switch to my iPhone 5c on the same wifi, and it never freezes while I'm sitting in the same location. Is there maybe a setting I have that is causes this? I am up to date on the OS 7.1.1. Video and audio is froze on my end, only video freezes on the other end. It doesn't make a difference who makes the call either.
No, there isn't any setting that you are missing. Have you tried force closing FaceTime, and resetting your iPad?
In order to close FaceTime, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that does not make a difference, you could try resetting all settings, if you reset all settings you will have to enter all of the device preferences again in the settings app. That takes some time to accomplish, but you will not lose my data, media, apps or anything like that. Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings.
If that doesn't help, the next step would be to restore the iOS software. Backup your iPad first, restore the iOS, then restore the backup.

you can then see the two seperate entries.
icloud storage is for backup of settings and such, device storage is for apps, music, books and such.
you cannot load more onto the device if it is out of space.
