Iphone frozen during restore, itunes doesnt recognize anymore, sleep button on the fritz !!!
After trying to restore my iphone it has frozen on the apple screen with the loading bar. Itunes no longer reads the phone so I am unable to restart a restore. My sleep button is also not working and therefore I am unable to go into DFU mode. Any help would be greatly appreciated...running out of ideas.

Have you solved this problem? I downloaded the new version of itunes with a view to download the new update for the iphone 4 and now it does not pick up my phone. My PC does not even see it. I attached an ipod and it came up in the list on itunes straight away, so using the same usb lead and port I then attached my i4 and nothing, it doesn't even charge. I have re-installed itunes 9 but still no joy. Any ideas would be helpful

Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, itunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new.

When did you upgrade to 4.1? 4.1 is no longer signed by Apple. It's no longer possible to (legitimately) install 4.1.

Trying to activate a second iphone and itunes doesnt recognize
I am trying to activate a second iphone, and itunes doesnt recognize that it is plugged in. This is also the case with my other iphone and my itouch. Tried restarting everything and also tried uninstalling itunes and reinstalling it, nothing has worked. Is there a way to fix this or another way to activate the phone?
Try activating it on a different computer, and using a different dock connector to USB cable if possible.
If that doesn't work, it may be a hardware problem. Take it to your Apple Store for testing. -

Iphone Frozen during OS 5 update.
I tried updating my Iphone 4 to OS 5 in Itunes 10.5. About 35 minutes into the install Itunes said it was restoring my Iphone. I then got an error that said an error occurred during restore. Now my phone is locked up with the Itunes logo and USB cable on the screen. Itunes does not see my phone now and I have tried holding down the home button and the wake/sleep button at the same time to reset. This doesn't work and all I get is the same screen. Any ideas?
I've got the same problem as described above...have searched for on-line help but nothing available. Phone is bascially useless...anyone out there got any ideas to help us?

I just got an iphone 6. Not all of my music was on itunes, so I logged in and instead of clicking set up as new iphone I hit restore from backup, thinking it only pertained to the music in itunes. It says in the new features page that it has support for code hinting for libraries such as jQuery. Well how come it doesn't come up automatically when you type? I have code hints enabled! I have to press Ctr+Spacebar for them to come up! Thanks.
