I'm trying export video so that it will always be full screen, zoomed out or not on the iphone/ipod touch. High quality the video will not be streamed.
I'm using Final Cut Studio 2

If I buy iWork on my iPhone, will I be able to install that same iWork through my apple account onto an iPad and be able to use that full screen? Or do i have to pay for a iPad version of iWork, where the screen settings and other stuff are different?

I'd like to get iWork on both my ipad 2 and iphone 4 mainly for traveling purposes... Right now I lent my iPad to my dad whose in somewhere else now so I don't have access to the iPad. So, I was wondering if right now I buy iWork onto my iPhone, and then when the iPad comes home, can I install that same iWork I bought through my apple acout and not have to pay for another version, and the iPad iWork can go full screen beautifully and not ugly?

iWork is universal, so it will work full-res on the iPad. This is true for any app which has the plus sign symbol (in the App Store in iTunes it will say "This app is designed for iPhone and iPad".

If you add music videos to Up Next playlist, then go to look at the album cover playing screen, then go to add another song from different playlist, you no longer can see Up Next, just go to full screen mode button. Using remote app iPhone 5 to play out of iTunes. It looks like it works fine for regular music, but for music videos you can't see your up next unless you go back on the computer to change once you've left the screen. When using the remote app, you shouldn't need to go to iTunes on the PC to view or edit Up Next already added. See first image, you can hit upper right and get back to Up Next (second image). Third image is music video, where you can't get back to Up Next, just swap between full screen and not. I hoped 3.0.1 would have the answer, no luck!

What in the name of Goodness have you done with the full screen picture of Contacts? How dare you just change it without so much as a bye or leave? This is NOT progress but a throwback to about 1997! I supposedly 'updated' to an iPhone two weeks ago. Should have stayed with Samsung I reckon. I am deeply unimpressed!

My iPhone caller image is still appearing full screen instead of in the right-hand corner,even though I've assigned the images to them on my mac.

I've assigned all new photos to override the old photos through my Address Book on my Mac, but they still continue to be full screen. Can anybody please explain to me what's going on? You did not try what I provided. There is a difference between syncing and replacing.
As with MobileMe, there should be an option with iCloud to replace info on cloud with what is available in the Address Book - all at once. This may not make any difference in this regard.

Plugging in iPhone 'interrupts' full-screen programs

When I plug in my iPhone to charge, if I'm currently in a full-screen program (i.e., playing World of Warcraft), it causes the program to be interrupted and go to a partial minimization. Is there a way I can get this to stop? Thanks.

I just started getting this same problem in IOS 7.1, never had a problem till before IOS7.1 When it gets to step 6 or 7 it will turn to a blue screen and restart with a message on my Mac that says "iphone can not be detected" or something like that.
Anyine got any fixes for it?

I'd love to be able to click a cover in Full Screen Cover Flow to flip it around and select the album track to play. Just like in iPhone! And maybe even give stars there. Please Apple! It would make the FC-option even more useful and browsing my CD's very visual experience.

Disable full screen safari on iPhone

After upgrading to iOS 7, I noticed that the toolbar disappears in safari while browsing. I am a heavy user of the back button and the bookmarks button. Both of them only require a single touch to use in iOS 6. Now that the toolbar disappears, if I want to use the back button, I either have swipe completely left to right or swipe down to get the toolbar back so I can use the back button. For the bookmarks button, I have to swipe down to bring back the toolbar and then I can use it. Alternatively, I can try to chicken peck the bottom of the screen with the hopes that the toolbar will reappear. If I use this alternative approach, sometimes it works, sometimes nothing happens, and sometimes I hit an ad by mistake.
Is there a way to disable full screen mode in safari on iPhone? I will gladly give up the additional real estate to have a persistent toolbar. It works better with the way I browse.

Try this app. I've used it for a year or so and it takes full screen pics. It doesnt offer a ton of advanced functionality but it works. It also allows users to take photos by tapping anywhere on the screen (which was my original reason for downloading). Enjoy

Is there any time frame for when all apps have to be updated to be full screen on the iPhone 5?

A lot of my apps still dont open in full screen, as Im sure most of you have noticed. Is there any word as to when/if developers are forced to make this update to use the full screen? Its pretty lame that some apps are still the same size as they were on my iphone 4. Definitely takes away from one of the biggest new features of the phone.

No one can 'force' the developers to do this. It's their app, they can do as they please. As the customer, you can choose to use it or not.

IPhone Cuts off Full Screen Photos in Contact View

The iPhone can use a full screen photo of a contact (when a call is initiated), if the original is cropped in iPhoto as '2 x 3 (iPhone) / Portrait'. (To set up full screen view on the iPhone, the user must select a contact, tap the 'Edit' button, tap the contact photo, tap 'Edit Photo', tap 'Choose', then tap 'Done'.) However, the same photo is then cropped to a square shape when initially viewed in the Contact screen, often cutting off the person's forehead. A suggestion for improvement would be to have the iPhone use the square cropping settings of the original photo when it was added to Address Book (for initial Contact view), and then use the 2 x 3 settings when the call is initiated to have the photo fill the screen. Anyone have any workarounds?

I have updated my software recently and the full screen default for the web browser is very annoying and causing my phone to slow down badly.
Has anyone been able to turn the Full Screen web mode default off??
Or how do you delete a software update.

How do I stop videos playing full screen on iPhone 5c?

I've recently purchased the iPhone 5C and I'm having trouble working out Safari and playing audios. When I click an audio (ie.. a radio programme on download) it immediately expands to full screen and I cannot find a way of going back to the safari screen. I have to keep the audio playing until the end and then it seems to switch back. I know there's probably something really simple I can do to stop videos and use Safari to browse something else, but for the life of me I can't work out what! help please!

OK - so someone sent me a downloadable audio file on dropbox. I clicked "download" and it immediately opened safari and started playing full screen. I couldn't do anything to stop it playing or open a browser window to search. how do I stop this from happening? I can't use safari until the audio has completed and returned to a safari browser screen.

Why isn't the iPhone camera full screen?

iPhone 6 camera on iOS 8 is amazing but the advantage of bugger iPhone screen isn't taken in the Camera, I think full screen camera for iphone would be better.
