IPhone Gmail Issue With Deleting From iPhone

When I delete an email on my iPhone it disappears from my Gmail inbox but is still searchable and not deleted permanently from Gmail. Any ideas on how to permanently delete it from GMail from the iPhone?

Here is what it looks like on my iphone...
After selecting the gmail account I see

   Mail (on off)
   Calendars (on off)
   Notes ( on off)
Archive messages (on off)
Did you set up your account on the phone as a Gmail, or as an imap?

Oracle 10g - issue with "DELETE from TABLE WHERE ID in (1,2,3)" (cfqueryparam used)

Hello, everyone.
I am having issues with running a DELETE statement on an Oracle 10g database.
DELETE
FROM tableA
WHERE ID in (1,2,3)
If there is only one ID for the IN clause, it works. But if more than one ID is supplied, I get an "SQL command not properly ended" error message. Here is the query as CF:
DELETE
FROM TRAINING
WHERE userID = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="CF_SQL_VARCHAR" value="#trim(form.userID)#">
AND TRAINING_ID in <cfqueryparam value="#form.trainingIDs#" cfsqltype="CF_SQL_INTEGER" list="yes">
Anyone work with Oracle that can help me with this? I'm an experienced MS-SQL developer; Oracle is new to me.

Nevermind.. a co-worker just told me that I still have to use parenthesis around the values for the IN clause.

The new "Delete From Hub not Server" works when each item is deleted individually, however when a number of items are selected together the option interface is not presented and all the items are deleted from the server.

If you are having issues deleting a specific message from an iMessage conversation (not seeing the Trash icon), you may want to double-check that you are following the steps outlined in the following article:
How do I delete a message?
To delete a message, tap and hold the message bubble, then tap More.
Tap Delete All to delete all the messages. Or tap to select the messages you want to delete, then tap .
After you delete a message, you can recover it only by restoring from a backup.

Issues with importing from excel

I have been running into a several issues with importing from Excel.
First my configuration
I am running SQL Developer ver 1.5.5 Build MAIN-5969
I am on a Windows XP Professional Version 2002 with Service Pack 3
I am importing into an Oracle 10g database.
1. SQL Developer doesn't work on Excel 2007, I have to save all my files into Excel 97-2003 format before I can use them.
2. If I run into an error loading and stop the process, SQL Developer doesn't release the Excel file and I get a sharing violation if I try to save the spreadsheet without closing SQL Developer.
3. I have found that I have to set print area to the area I want to work with, otherwise the import wizard tries to keep adding rows.
4. When using the Import wizard, it keeps adding commas on fields with numerics unless I specify the column in excel as text. Currently the column is formatted as General in the spreadsheet or I can change the wizard format to say the column is an integer, but it actually is just a code field with numeric characters so it may have leading zeroes that I need to keep.

I have a column in excel defined as text but only contains numerics. It is of length 4, but the wizard sets a precision of 5 with a datatype of VARCHAR2. If I try to change it to 4, I get an error saying the field is not large enough. Yet, when I do a LEN on the column, it only gives me a 4. I have other fields in the same sheet that a 3 position numeric and 2 position numeric and those are fine. I am thinking this is related to the comma being inserted in a numeric field for anything greater than 3 positions.
5. Importing excel dates to oracle dates doesn't work. I have to convert the excel date column to text then import as a VARCHAR, then convert to Date once in the database.
6. The default of nullible is not set on any columns and I have to set them before the import. (I would prefer it set to nullible and I have to uncheck the box to make it not nullible. I would prefer to import all of the data and then deal with the nulls after they have been pulled in)
7. When I select header columns included it uses that as the column names. Is it possible to do the name length check then? It has bit me a few times where I try to import and forget to check the name length and then I get an error when I start running the import.
8. If one of the columns to import has all nulls, then the precision comes out to 0 and if it isn't changed an error occurs on import. Could this situation default to a precision of 1?
9. It would be nice if there was a completion message displayed and a cancel option while running.

On point 3.
I have a column in excel that consists of numbers. 4 digit numeric codes. Ex, 1111, 2345, etc
The column's format is general. It displays as just 4 numbers.
When I start the wizard initially, the column appears with data as 1,111, 2,345, etc, on the Data Preview screen.
It determines the precision to be 5 on the column definition screen.
If I change the precision to 4 then continue, that field will error out when I verify with "not big enough to hold the data in source columns"
If, I change the excel column to a TEXT column.
Excel still displays as 1111, 2345, etc
The wizard then displays the same data 1111, 2345 on the Data Previeiw screen
Yet, when I get to the column definition screen it still sizes it as a 5
If I change it to a 4, I get the same error when verifying.
If I leave them alone as 5, then it processes just fine.

Urgent : Issue with deleting Line Item in ME22N

Hi all,
I have an issue with deleting line item in ME22N for some Purchase Orders.
When I try to delete the line item, a warning message comes up saying that " Quantity invoiced or delivered is less than the quantity ordered". And I am unable to proceed further and save the PO. Could anyone let me know as why this is happening?

there is no need of group key.
if any of these 3 are done, payment will be done in total.
1.In setup all company codes for payment transactions , DESELECT seperate payment per business area check box
2.In setup paying company codes for payment transactions , DESELECT seperate payment for each reference check box.
3.In the Vendor Master got to payment transactions tab and below the payment method , there will be individual payment checkbox. DESELECT that check box.
try again with first two with DESELECT options , i will check out with DME.

Does anyone know is there any SAP standard program to count the total number of record of the table with deletion from Archiving Object and display in repprt?

Not sure of the question. Are you looking to get the sql "select count(*) from table" from using the TopLink expression framework or are you getting that SQL already and want something else?
If you are looking just to get the count from a table/class, you can use a ReportQuery:
ReportQuery rquery = new ReportQuery(ClassToQueryOn.class);
rquery.addCount(); //equivalent to count(*);
session.executeQuery(rquery);
You can use a report query to return data instead of objects, and use selection criteria just like a normal read query.

Most likely you have Office 2004 which are PPC-only applications and will not work in Lion. Upgrade to Office 2011. Other alternatives are:
Apple's iWork suite (Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.)
Open Office (Office 2007-like suite compatible with OS X.)
NeoOffice (similar to Open Office.)
LibreOffice (a new direction for the Open Office suite.)

GMAIL ISSUES - Sheared Contacts from MAPS & Attachments exiled outbox?

Gmail syncs with the iPhone in two ways:
1. iMAP interface (covers Notes, Mail, Calendar limited to birthdays and main)
2. Exchange (contacts, mail, calendar) Please note it's not a true exchange server
I am finding some major issues with the 2 sync approach, which unfortunately holds the data base.
Issue 1.
The Maps app has the cool feature that when you search a new address you can save it to your contact data base. Not so if you are using Google Exchange. I have found that the contact appears to save correctly. You then move to Contacts to see if it is REALLY there and it is. You blink and about 15 seconds later the contact's address and phone number are sheared from the contact (ouch!!!). You go back to Maps and you can see that the original contact name is gone and only the address remains. In other words its as if the contact were sheared in half, with half going to MAPS and half going to Contacts. If you didn't know this was happening you wouldn't realize you are losing all your contacts. You can re-merge the remaining piece, but this is more work and I have at least once crashed the CONTACT app completely doing this. Solution have Apple figure out a work around with Google or have Google fix their interface.
ISSUE 2.
I have found that when you are in any program that generates an attachment that can be sent to email that if you are using the Exchange interface this email will go to the OUTBOX. It's not just going there it will stay there forever unless you actually go and open up the outbox, open up your message and hit send. This does not happen if you use mobile me and does not happen if you use the GMAIL IMAP interface. Solution use the the IMAP interface for Gmail mail. oh and tell Google to fix the exchange format so it actually works.
The problem with contacts is if you switch the default to mobile me then you will have to figure out how to sync mobileme and gmail contacts seamlessly. I don't have a proven solution for this.
Has anyone else documented these issues and does anyone have a better solution?
You would think that this would be important enough for both Google and Apple to figure it out. Afterall there are a lot of google users using iPhones and a lot of iphone users that will be using Google. It is a win win.

Issue with deleting a group using Request APIs in OIM 11g R1

I am facing an issue with Request Based provisioning in OIM 11g R1.
I am currently testing a scenario where i have imported a data set for 'Modify Provisioned Resource' and am able to add a group/entitlement to an already provisioned resource by using the following code :

This works fine for adding a group but if i try to remove a group by changing the action to Delete in the same code, the request fails. The only change made is in the following line:

External Hard Drive Sync Issue with Deletion

So I recently set up my external hard drive to be my main music folder. The external HD runs continuously on my Mac Pro desktop. I've set it up so the external HD is mounted remotely on my laptop, so I can get all my itunes music without having to physically connect to the drive. I've set it up and everything loaded in, works fine. . . .
But then I tried to delete some files using itunes. It deleted them from my itunes library alright. But they did not delete from the external HD. Furthermore, it did not even prompt me to "keep files" or "delete from library".
I then ran an test. Could i change ID3 tags? Maybe I didn't have write permission or something. Nope, I was able to change ID3 tags just fine.
Does anybody know a way to make this work? Why it doesn't prompt me to "delete" my files?

is there perhaps a problem with permissions? does this problem happen whether you're using either computer or only with the laptop? maybe the laptop only has permission to delete songs from its local database and but not to delete the tracks from the shared master music folder.
i use a wireless external drive for my music too. though i've never had your problem, i have experienced something similar. if i delete a track via Finder then open iTunes, it still thinks the track is there. so if i then delete it in iTunes, it doesn't ask me if i want to keep the files or not, it only removes it from the iTunes library. in other words, i don't get prompted to keep or delete tracks if the track is already gone from the hard drive but still in the iTunes database. i haven't tried changing the tags in that scenario however.

I also have a question regarding dimensions. I have a model in PAS which has data from different data sources (BW and excel). In excel I have dimensions which are not loaded from BW (they don't exist there). How to create such dimenison?

The Forum isn't really designed as a training system but rather where people can share questions or get a separate pair of eyes to look afresh at issues that aren't working for some reason. This is particularly the case for something which is as important as creating dimensions.
The idea of the SSM Cube Builder/Model Designer was to enable people to build models with their relevant dimensions and metrics for demos and simple initial systems using manual data entry. If you are getting into building dimensions that will be outside BW then you are moving into the implementation arena rather than demo creation and need to work carefully so that things tie up.
I doubt people would expect to be able to set up/implement BW without training and SSM is the same.
If you would like training or would like to collaborate on a first project to enable skills transfer then my colleague Pedro and I would be happy to discuss this. We have done this with other people and it has worked well.

Quality issues with calls from US to Korea

I've always been a big fan of Skype. I have a premium account and I use "Skype to go" to call from the US to South Korea. Starting about 5 months ago, the quality of these calls has severely degraded. It is almost not worth the call. It is very difficult for me to hear the people I've called and for them to hear me as well. There is no Skype customer support contact phone number listed anywhere on the Skype website that I can find. Otherwise, I'd be addressing this issue with a real person. Is there a reason for this call quality degradation? Is there a fix in work? Is there a customer service number I can call? Is it time for me to leave Skype?

BO XI issues with properties from BPC

I post again my message (it was not in the good forum) and I complete with answers to Andrey.
We created an universe on a BPC cube, after creation, we see all the properties of the dimension, but this is impossible to see the values of the properties, only their names.

What I mean is that if we make a request with WEBI on the universe, then we cannot see the values of the properties, ie I cannot see the value of the property "EVDESCRIPTION" in my request for example.
My colleague is trying to make a request that displays some accounts in line with the description of the account for example, and we can only see the ID of the account, but the EVDESCRIPTION property is empty each time, and this is the same with all properties of all dimensions.
Did someone already encounter this issue ?

Problem during Query development:
1. If we put unverse's dimension (in terms of BO) to Query and then execute query we can see the data from the dimension.
2. BUT
when we add an object "Measure" (for example YTD) to "Dimension" and run query - we have no data returned back. (even just Dimension data).
I found this issue documented in SAP note 1495455
It says:
Symptom
Business Objects Enterprise report has been created using the ODBO provider delivered with BPC 7.5 NW.
Report works well with only dimensions retrieved.
Same report using measures, gives error:
" The 'No data to retrieve. Query 1' "
Environment
BPC 7.5 NW.
Cause
This is because of the default behavior of ODBO provider.
If no restriction on any dimension, the ODBO provider takes the default member of a dimension to build the query.
The default member is the first member along a hierarchy.
The original ODBO comment is:
"We loop through our contexts and for each context, we create a
fully-qualified tuple consisting of the member as specified in the
context followed by the default member(s) of the
hierarchy(s) on the slicer axis as derived above."
Resolution
So the cube does not have transaction data and the WebI reports the no data message.
This is not a bug.
I took this to mean that you need to set a filter on each dimension (class in the Universe). Once I did this, I was able to get data.

Issue with Delete Index in process chain

Hi All,
I have a situation with Delete Index in my process chain.
Delete Index step, before loading data to cube, is taking around 2Hr to complete but some times it completes within 5 mins.
Anyone faces such issue? If yes, how can I fix it?

If Statistics are not maintained for the cube then also it might casue the high run time in index deletion.
if its urgent then, can u try doing it manually form performance tab....
or once process chain step is complete, create statistics for the cube. Next run should take less time
