IPhone goes bizerk and randomly opens applications, Voice command ect.

My IPhone seems to be having a software glitch, opening applications, voice command, ITunes, all without me touching the phone. It really is almost like it is posessed and all I can do it turn off the phone using the reset(home and top button). If I try to turn it off the normal way it just takes pictures of the screen. Anyone else experienced this, have solutions? Thanks.

Take the device out of the case that is putting pressing on the power button.
If it's not in a case, basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these steps in order until the issue is resolved.

Iphone 3G freezing and randomly opening apps...HELP

Ok, So my Iphone originally began freezing while using apps, phone, etc. The Apple store told me to do a hard restore and delete my old back-up files, set up as a new phone, etc. and it would fix the problem. They said it seemed like a broken or damaged software update problem. I have done that 3 times and its still not working right.
If I don't lock my phone and I leave it open, it will randomly open my Contacts and start clicking on contacts and it will end up calling someone. It also happens while Im on my Facebook app. If I am just looking at a friends page or something its like it clicks through and sends me to random places on Facebook. It does this on top of freezing while in the middle of writing a text message or performing any other task on my phone. To fix the freeze I have to exit out of the app and make my phone "sleep" and when I go back in, it will work. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this irritating problem??

If you close all the windows and quit word, next time you restart, DO NOT check "Reopen windows on login".
Also, check your login items for your user account.

NO it won't work in India because all the iPhones for sale in the USA are carrier locked to networks, so no they won't work outside the USA.
There will be no unocked iPhones for sale in the US at the moment which is what you need, and anyway, if you purchased one in the US, there is no international warranty so there is nothing you can do.
You will have to wait because it won't work in India.

IPhone going black and won't respond

I posted about this earlier but it is happening again! My iPhone 3G (two weeks old, well two week activated at least, not sure the build week) will go black and not respond until plugged in to charge and then it is fine.
When taken off the charger or unplugged from the usb port it will be fine until it locks. After wards the screen will remain black and the iPhone 3G will not respond.
Any ideas? Anyone heard of this?
P.S. when it does respond when plugged back in, it will take a picture of the current screen and then when unplugged it will take a picture of the current screen and the iPod application will pop up before it goes blank again.
Edit: Now it won't respond while plugged in.

Thank you for your timely response. To answer your questions I will list answers in the order that your questions were asked to me:
1. I am unable to reset the iPhone. With a blank (blackened) screen, when I take the proper steps to reset the iPhone, it is unresponsive.
2. When initially plugged in (since it eventually goes blank) the iPhone battery icon indicates a full charge.
3. I do infact use a case. I am using the iSkin Revo2. I would hate to give up the protection, but alas I can try it.
The interesting thing however is that whilst the iPhone screen is blank (blackened) while plugged into my MacBook, the iPhone pane shows up in iTunes and indicates that the iPhone is ready to be synced or restored. This is boggling since the iPhone itself appears to be unresponsive in a manner as if it is permanently turned off.

Are there any apps available to do the following on the E7-00 with Anna;
Show the symbols at the top of the screen, wifi,3g,alarm, etc in a larger font. I have a 4 inch screen and symbols that are soooo tiny.
Show open applications on the home screen, similar to how you see the Wi-Fi Wizard. It is too easy on this phone to have multiple apps open without even knowing it.

The double clicking of the Home button and multitasking is only 3G and later iPods.
For slow/crashing apps:
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

So, you're not talking about trying to turn on the iphone using your passcode, but are talking about the phone being disabled from having used Find My iPhone to put it in lost mode - right?

Bought my 1st iPhone today (4S) Just started using for less than 5 minutes and it has a voice command that talks on Everything and the pages wont scroll up and down and cant change screens from the page it boots on. Wrong apps open when I open an app...

So I bought my wife our 1st iPhone 4S today w/ Verizon. I booted it up and it started having a voice repeat every command, and function (no, its not Siri).
BTW... Siri doesn't work, I can't scroll in the settings, when I open an app it actually opens the wrong app, and I can't find a way do fix any of it. I tried a hard boot by holding down the power button and the button on the lower midddle of the phone. When it rebooted, it got worse. Now what?
Not too excited about switching phones if this has already begun... Any advice would be appreciated.

Screen goes blue and quits all applications

It doesn't seem to be specific to what I'm doing or running. But all of a sudden the screen goes blue for a second, like its going to sleep after a second it goes back to my desktop, but all applications are closed there is no error message. It has happened while typing an email in mail. Selecting a song in itunes. Scrolling down a web-page. Dragging a file into the timeline if FCP. Its happened with just one application opened and with several opened.

Have you done the usual maintenance jb?
Try using Disk Utility to do a Disk Repair, as shown in this link, while booted up on your install disk.
You could have some directory corruption. Let us know what errors Disk Utility reports and if DU was able to repair them.
Then Repair Permissions.
Then run your Apple Hardware Test to see if it flags something.
