IPhone Google Calendar stopped saving an entry after 4.3.3 installed?

Calendar function is ok on my Win 7 PC. Anyone struck no saving (even using the mobile Google calendar) after they updated their 3GS iPhone to OS 4.3.3?

Google calendar stopped syncing with iphone

We sync the iphone 4s with google calendar and yesterday the sync just stopped. It still works fine with another iphone 4s, but this one just stopped syncing. Any ideas from anyone out there? Has anyone else experienced this problem?

After searching all day I found this in another response to setup your account you must create a new account as an Microsoft Exchange account.
Follow the instructions provided by Google to set up your gmail account as an Exchange account on the iPhone. You can then sync calendars and contacts as well as receive push e-mail.

It took a minute or two to synch and appears to be working now!!

Iphone/google calendar and ical - not able to select the calendar

Ok, I can get my google calendar to sync with ical (using caldav or whatever and not some subcription method) as well as sync to my iphone.
My problem is entering a calendar event on my iphone. It always ends up in some other calendar. I can never change it. What am I doing wrong?

BEWARE of the "replacement" - when they say they will replace it, they often mean with a refurbished device, they will not replace it with a new device.
Because I bought my 4s from a different retailer, even though it is an Apple device that failed less than 24 hours out of the box, Apple will not give me a new phone - they acknowledged that it is a manufacturing defect, and couldn't understand why I was not satisfied with receiving a refurbished device. This seems ridiculous to me - I'm a long-time, repeat customer - but that doesn't appear to matter.
I've heard great things about Apple customer service, now that I've needed it, I've found it isn't so great after all.

Can't update Calendar Event Title or Location on IOS 7 iPhone (Google Calendar account))

I am using IOS 7 Calendar App on an iPhone 5 linked to a Google Calendar account. I can create a new event on the iPhone and I can update the event time, the event and updated time will sync to google and other linked devices as expected. However, if I update the event title and/or location, those changes appear to save, but then, after a few seconds, the event spontaniously reverts to the pre-update values. The updated title/location never appear in Google or on my other linked devices.
Does anybody else have this problem or know of a solution?

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after the iPad shuts down, then press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds). Ignore the "Slide to power off"

Jabber 9.2 on Windows 8 - Google Calendar integration asking for login after every restart

I am currently testing Jabber 9.2.0, build 496 on Windows 8. Google Calendar integration works, but the user is prompted to re-authenticate after exiting and restarting Jabber.
I have tried running the client in compatibility mode (Windows 7), but no luck.
Any ideas?

Google Calendar stopped syncing

Up until recently my Google Calendar was synced with my BlackBerry calendar... But it's just stopped!
However, all calendars are still selected and I can see no reason why.
Help?

Are you syncing via the Google Sync app? If so, open it - there should be a warning message explaining the problem.

Google calendar stopped loading on ipad

For six months my google calendar has appeared on my ipad calendar (and also my laptop). So convenient. I changed my google password, and although the ipad prompted me for a new password, the calendar has stopped updating (in either direction). I can sych the ipad with my laptop (which still gets the calendar) but that's a poor substitute compared to updating automatically.
Any suggestions?

My new iPhone 6 was syncing with the calendar on my MacBook Pro but just stopped. iCloud is enabled on both devices.

It just started working again. Not sure what changed.

IPhone 4 calendar stops at 2012

If I try to select a date in contacts for a birthday etc I can only choose a year up to 2012. I have no option to select or enter any year beyond 2012.
I have a blue dash line and thats it.
So how do I enter a date for birthday or events etc in 2013 onwards?

I see. I synched with my MS Outlook on my PC. The holiday dates are correct in that calendar; also, all my other calendar dates (appointments, etc.) are on the correct days. Should I try turning off the holidays on my Outlook calendar and re-synching?

Webcam stopped working on network after quicktime streaming server install.

Hi,
The webcam of my 20" intel mac duo stopped working after I installed quicktime streaming server.
I've tried with amsn, skype and ichat and none of them shows anything, although the light is green.
I don't need the streaming server but can't find how to uninstall it.
I can use the cam in photobooth without any problems so it seems to be a network problem, which I think was caused by qss because I installed that recently.
I really hope someone can give me some troubleshooting directions for this cause I need the cam for meetings with clients (I have a small design company in the uk, but most of my clients are from holland).
If anyone can at least just show me some tips I'd be very very happy! =)

Google Calendars not syncing to iPhone 6

As of about 3 days ago my google calendars stopped syncing to my iPhone 6 using iOS 8.1.1. I noticed some events were not syncing, going both directions. I removed Calendar Sync from my google gmail account, which deleted all of my google calendars for that account. Then I added calendar sync again. When I did that the calendars do not appear in my iOS calendars app. I've tried to refresh, i've deleted and added several times, but no calendars. I've even posted on the Google support page (https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!category-topic/calendar/ios/jmqloVY4LmQ). I can't find anything to say why I'm having this issue or how to correct it. I've added it using all of the recommendations from Google, using a google account, and I've selected my calendars to sync. But It's not even showing my primary calendar now. Please help!

I had the same problem, but read this after the downgrade opportunity expired. After almost 2 months I figured it out. I set up the Gmail/Google Calendar/Google Contacts on my iPhone as an Exchange Account many years ago. Google discontinued this in 2013 for all new users, though it still worked for me (until Nov 17th). Google now uses CardDAV for Contacts and CaIDAV for Calendar (since 2013). I did this yesterday and now everything works. I was surprised that there weren't more complaints about the issue (I thought there must be hundreds of thousands of people affected) but most people probably have it set up using the newer method, which obviously wasn't affected by iOS 8.1.1

Unable to uncheck a calendar in the iPhone google calendar sync menu. Keep receiving notifications linked to this calendar even though I have disabled notifications.

Outlook is definately a problem. Ive been at it for a couple of days going through this thread and others. Still not syncing.
What Apple has to realize is that windows people have different microsoft offices, i use 2000 because the schedule is shared between everyone, this is an addon in newer copys of office.
When i make a call or recieve a call i would like to see an option to add the caller to the schedule .. When your on the phone with the caller you can just hit a button and it brings you right to the calendar and enters the caller in the schedule where ever you place them.
Anyway i will keep at the sync thing for a while and see what happens. Nothing so far. l8r

Google calendar entry disappear suddenly in calendar app

I bought my q5 on 2 jan. So far I hv tried a few times that google calendar entries suddenly disappear in my blackberry phone while the online google calendar still hv those entries. Seems the entries suddenly hidden in the phone. Because I can search those entries. And I make sure I click the google calendar in the settings/manage. May you help me with that? It is annoying

yes it is annoying and I know a few that moved to outlook.com and use Exchange Active Sync so you dont have to deal with cardDav, CalDav IMAP and SMTP server isssues. You can also get an outlook plugin and sync with outlook program on a PC

My iphone 4s was stopped working after upgrading to IOS6.

My iphone 4s was stopped working 2 days after upgrading to IOS6. Apple replaced it however same issue after upgrade. The new phone keeps reseting it self and turns it self off. Sometimes can not turn it on for hours, drains the battery really really quick. Anybody with same issues?

It is probably still worth while taking it to an Apple store for a possible OOW replacement and let them make the decision, as it was broken before the OP took the back off.
