IPhone got damp and no longer charges, HELP?!
Last night, I accidentally dropped my iPhone 4 in the toilet. It's in a Griffin Survivor Case so I was relieved to find that it still functioned perfectly and that on removing the case was barely damp at all. I then continued to use it until it fuilly ran out of battery, then put it on to charge. All was going perfectly, charging normally, until it got to 18% when an error message popped up on my screen.. Unfortunately I accidentally closed the message before I got a chance to look at it so I have no idea what it said. However, after the message appeared the phone stopped charging and had the "fully charged" little logo thing in the battery on the top right of the screen. I didn't think much of this and just left it overnight, hoping it would start charging again. In the morning, I used up the remaining 18%, but now when I try to charge it nothing happens whatsoever. The "conect to charger" logo still appears on the screen when I try to turn it on but nothing happens when I connect it to a charger. Any idea how, or if, I could fix this

Make an appointment at the genius bar of your local Apple Store. A replacement will cost you $149.

Restore the phone from backup. If this does not work, restore the Phone as a new device not using backup at all.

So recently, my iPhone got stolen, and the theif wiped all the data and information and put his icloud information (io7) on it, the police found the phone and handed it over but then his information is on the phone and i can't get past activation, so my question is, how do I get past it?
Do I ask the police for a report and go to Apple? Because I heard apple dosen't do it?
Or can I use some software to do it?

This is a security feature that prevents thieves from setting up and using a stolen or lost iPad or iPhone. Unfortunately this has sort of worked in reverse for you. You have no alternative. No must get the Apple ID and password the thief used in order to use the device. If the thief will not provide this info you will never be able to activate the device and no one can help you do it.

Yes it does, although I wa a minute faster than you. To see if someone is parroting you, or that they just posted at the same time, look at the head of the post and it will show you the data and time of the post and who they were responding to. Looking at that first saves some misinformation in future posting.
You'll see some posts where there will be 5 posts all in the same minute sometimes. Answer posts late at night and you won't see as many.

You can't access your iCloud backup from your PC. You'll have to export your contacts from icloud as a vCard, as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH3606, which can be imported to Google then exported as a CSV file that can be imported to your PC.

You can try and put it in a bag of uncooked rice for 5 days or so, but don't get your hopes up. If that doesn't work, you get an out of warranty replacement or buy a new phone.

My iPhone 3GS got stolen this week and I had "FindmyiPhone" (iOS 5.0.1) configured, but when I try to locate my iPhone it will show up as "offline".
I've once heared you can trace your iPhone by an EMEI or UPC number or something like that.
Do you guys know more about that so I can trace down my iPhone and can show it the police?

RenzeauI just got my macbook pro stolen last night. the theive opened it and I got the email from findmyiphone. I can see which house it is at, but the thing is cops can't help. Im still watching it on my iphone waiting for them to ope it again so I can see its location. But Im already ****** as $%#% because 911 told me that they cant keep following a missing laptop.
so that was my story, right now my macbook is showing as red also. But keep watching it because they have to turn it on eventually and as long as you check email me when found on icloud.com then you will get an email. Or you can also keep watching on your computer.
So again go on icloud.com and sign in with the itunes account/email that you use on your iphone, you'll see the find my iPhone option there! -

So, as i said, my iphone got stolen like a month ago, and i purchased a new one.
I downloaded other apps in this new iphone and i think i did an error by syncing it with itunes as it seems that it doesn't have all the other apps i downloaded on the other iphone.
So I would like to know how to get back all my apps ?

Why do I get Error 33487 when measuring TC signals with FieldPoint
I am measuring temperature with a cFP-2000 and cFP-TC-120 using K-type thermocouples. I am intermittantly getting Error 33487 (Signal out of measurement range) from FP Read.vi the first time the unit tries to take a data sample after startup (it auto
