Iphone got set to zero setting is lost
Hi I accidently set my setting to zero icon and now my setting option is gone on my phone. Anyone out there can help me out or show me how to put the setting option back on there? Much appriciated thanx!

how to recover the data?When setting up the new one, you need to restore it from a backup of the old one.
If you had iOS 5 on your old one:
Your new phone should also have iOS 5, so on the setup screens, wait until you get to the menu that allows you to select "Restore from iCloud Backup."
If you did not have iOS 5 on your old one:
You can plug in the new phone to iTunes, select Restore. Let it do it's thing, and when it's done, select Restore from Backup. -

There is no such thing as a "sub-account." Also, you probably mean iTunes library, when you say "account." Your "account" in iTunes is your Apple ID, which is what you use to sign in to the iTunes Store to make purchases. iPods are associated with an iTunes library, not with an Apple ID (iTunes Store account). You'll need to clarify...
So, this is what I think you are saying. You previously shared an iTunes library on a computer with your friend. Your old iPod was synced to that iTunes library.
You got an iPhone, and at that time, you set up your own iTunes library. Is that on a different computer? How does the iPhone affect your question about the iPod?
You got a new iPod. What is your "old iTunes"? Is that the iTunes library you shared with your friend? -
Somehow, my Referer Header settings got set to 0 (zero). Because of this, I'm getting an error message on certain sites. I found out that I could reset it to 1 (one) or 2 (two) if I browsed to about:config and typed in the new value, but it doesn't seem to be working. I'm not sure how to "save" this setting, and ever time I refresh the about:config page the setting goes back to zero. Plus, I'm still getting the error messages on the sites I was having trouble with.
You need to connect the iPod to your computer with iTunes and then restore the iPod via iTunes on the computer.

Yes, but be sure she is on a separate iCloud account with a separate ID before deleting anything. Be sure there is nothing that you want to keep on your device too. When you delete the data from iCloud it will be deleted from all devices signed into the account. Then you can delete the data from the existing account by doing the following:
To delete the contacts, go to iCloud.com from your computer, log into your iCloud account and open Contacts, click on All Contacts on the left, to the right click on any single contact to select it, click on the Actions (gear shaped) icon at the bottom left and choose Select All, then press the Delete key on your keyboard.
For Calendars, open the calendar on icloud.com, click Edit on the bottom left, then tap the minus sign to the right of each calendar to delete it.
For Notes, open notes on icloud.com, click on each note on the left, then click Delete at the top to delete it.
For Reminders, open reminders on icloud.com, click on each reminder and press your Delete key to delete it.
For Mail, open your mail on icloud.com, click each folder on the left (such as your inbox), click on a single message to the right, press Control-A on your keyboard to select them all, then press your Delete key. Repeat this for each of your mail folders except Trash. When finished, click on the actions (gear-shaped) icon on the bottom left and select Empty Trash.
If you also want to delete your iCloud backups you can go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage on your device, tap the name of your device under Backups, then tap Delete Backup. -

i tried using the setting icon to reset the prints and icon to a bigger size, thereafter the setting icon lost color to gray and stopped responding.? most of the pop up boxes will also not respond why?
Thanks Winston, restarting my router worked for me too. Seems that somehow the DCHP (maybe due to the Mountain Lion upgrade?) had assigned the same IP address to both the AppleTV and my iMac. The AppleTV stopped appearing as an AirPlay device for my iPhone and Mac, but still the AppleTV had Internet access.
Restarting the router reassigned IPs and without fanfare, the AppleTV is now available to AirPlay. -
We have an older IMac (preIcloud) and just purchased a new Macbook Air. Our Iphones are set-up to synch with the IMAC and my calendars on the IMac & the phone look the same. But when I open ICal on the MacBook Air my calendar is missing items? Help.
Are you wanting to import iCal to the MacBook Air. Since iCloud doesn't work with 10.6 OSX you probably don't have any data in iCloud yet?

My wife and I each have an apple computer and an iPhone. Setting them up with the iCloud put us on the same account. I take a lot of photos on job sites and she takes her own photos we have to scan though each others photos to find our own. How do I separate the accounts without one of us losing our own stuff?
Decide which device will be changing accounts. On that device, if you have any photos in photo stream that are not in your camera roll that you want to keep on the device, save them to the camera roll by opening the photo stream album in the thumbnail view, tapping Edit, then tap all the photos you want to save, tap Share and tap Save to Camera Roll.
Once this is done, go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. (This will only delete the account from this phone, not from iCloud. The device(s) that will be keeping the account will not be effected by this.) When prompted about what to do with the iCloud data, be sure to select Keep On My iDevice. Next, set up a new iCloud account using a different Apple ID (if you don't have one, tap Get a Free Apple ID at the bottom). Then turn iCloud data syncing back to On, and when prompted about merging with iCloud, choose Merge. This will upload the data to the new account.
Finally, to delete any data that you don't want in each account (such as deleting your wife's data from your account, and vice versa) you will have to go to icloud.com on your computer and sign into each iCloud account separately and manually delete it. -
I use facetime on my ipad and i now have a new iphone c, when setting up my iphone i set it to the same apple account as the ipad, I now cannot use facetime I have tried to facetime a friend and I have also asked them to facetime me but when they do both iphone and ipad try to connect but both fail. Try going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

My IPhone is set up with an internet downloaded firmware of ios7 because my phone would not restore, the system has failed and I had to do a manual erase fro within the phone. My computer will not accept the phone because they say it's a "Developer?" Help. I cannot not even get passed the activation step on the computer or phone because it will not activate the device.
