Iphone hangs when incoming call

each time my phone has an incoming call, the phone hangs. I cannot slide to answer the phone. What happens?

Hello Recently, I started experiencing problems with my iPhone 4. Sometimes, but more and more often, I can not move the slide to pick up the phone. and this is not a problem the screen, as in any other application, the screen is perfectly responsive to clicks.
and it became yet worse now - slide is moved but raising of tube does not take place. such problem I sometimes notice for the users of not dear android telephones, but I did not buy a telephone after 600$ in order that to test the same problems. when this situation happens - I look as a blockhead nervously trying to heave up a tube. more frequent than all it does not turn out and I have to ring up a subscriber.

My "hang up"button is right there at the bottom. When you scroll down are you putting your finger right on the bar? And... are you sill on 10.0 OS? It's a little pokey.

Each device needs a separate address. Use an email address (gmail.com) on the iPad.

Have you contacted your service provider to find out if there is a service interuption in your area or geographical region?

Have you checked your sound prefs after you updated the OS? It's possible they got changed during the update.

2 iPhones with separate numbers ring when incoming call

My wife and I have separate iPhones (5 and 5S) running iOS 8.2. An incoming call rings on both phones. Did not happen before I downloaded 8.2.

IPhone malfunctioning while incoming calls

Hi Everyone,
Recently whenever I get incoming call suddenly music player turns ON.
Also sometime when I'm listening to music, song shuffle itself.
It's really bad experience with apple.
Voice control turned off.
Songs shuffle turned off.
Please let me know is there any malfunctioning in my iPhone or is there any settings need to be changed (recently I havn't changed anything)

Did you already try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Appel logo comes back again? You will not lose data by resetting.

IPhone 2.0 incoming calls

Since I have updated my iPhone to the 2.0 software incoming calls have been not ringing and or causing my phone to freeze. I was wondering if anyone else was having the same problems. Also SMS text and calendar and notes all have been opening very slowly. I have restored my phone and this does not seem to help. I was wondering if it is my phone or if more people are having these problems. Yes kind of but I have the original iPhone so it has nothing to do with 3G it will just randomly not receive a call, or freeze when it does causing it to vibrate out of control.

My iPhone is also not ringing most of the time. I have noticed that the ringer volume is often turned off in spite of the fact I keep tuning it up. This happens even if the phone is locked.

N8 Display turns totally black when incoming call ...

My N8's display always turns totally black when there is an incoming call, or even when the
alarm rings. Before can see the caller's name and answer the call, I have to disable the screen's "keylock".
I tried to find a point in the phone settings wher I can avoid this, but didn't find any. Is anybody out there to give me a hint ?

When I am inside, the screen acts normally: it goes black when held close to face. It returns to normal as soon as taken from my face. However, the screen also goes black if I am outside in daytime when I have an incoming call, and when I make calls also, as soon as I press the green call button. It "thinks" it is near my face. If I slide the button on the right side of the phone down twice, the screen lights back up normally but the touch screen will not function. At that point I cannot answer the phone, or if I'm already making a call I cannot hang up nor press the speaker phone button.
There is nothing over the face of the phone. I removed the protective plastic cover but that did not help.
This seems to occur only when I am outside in the sunlight, so it has something to do with a sensor, either light or heat.
I am aware that this problem has occurred on other N8s. I have not found any solutions for it. Perhaps it is not a problem on every N8. I updated the software last week to 111.040.1511 Symbian Belle. That software date is from 2012-07-28.

IPhone 4S all incoming calls drop

I have an iPhone 4S 32GB (White)
It was working perfectly up until the 5.0.1 update. Now INBOUND calls drop as soon as I answer them, I barely have a chance to say 'Hello' and I get a beep and the call failed message on-screen.
After hours of restoring/resetting/swapping SIM's etc I have discovered that I can replicate this fault 100% of the time by having Wi-Fi and Cellular data active at the same time. If I leave these both on I CANNOT receive incomming calls as they always fail.
If I turn off Wi-Fi I CAN receive calls.
If I turn off Cellular Data, again, I CAN receive calls.
Leave both on and Im stuffed.
Apple are sending out a box to return it to them so hopefully its just a duff handset and not something that is widespread like a bad chip or firmware as this is a major pain.

same problem , apple store gave me a new phone , set up everything , and didn't help , on both 5.0 and 5.0.1 softwares.. will go to see them tomorow again , expecting product for £500 work properly . 16gb 4s white.

Iphone doesnt receive incoming calls

Hi, for about 2 weeks i cannot receive incoming phone calls any more. Earlier it worked without problems. Now even in the phone log, no incoming calls are registered. I can make phone calls by myself, i can receive incoming calls by facetime, but no phone calls or sms. The phone is not muted (i tried the button already) . A complete reset of the phone did not change anything. Has anybody an idea what i can do?

My carrier did not know a solution, but proposed to send the iphone back to apple.
I removed all photos and videos. Just before i wanted to send it back, it suddenly worked again.
Now i wonder how long it will work. After all it seems like a software problem to me.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
