Okay. This is driving me crazy! I have been trying to transfer music from my desktop to my iPhone, but it does not work! When I connect to iTunes, it should appear as "Hanna's iPhone" but it only shows apple iPhone and it doesn't even show on iTune. My phone is up to date and I already deleted iTunes and re-downloaded it too. I don't know what to do anymore. Please help!

It's still there somewhere. It is impossible to delete the standard apps which are part of the OS. It's on another screen, or slipped into an apps folder. If you really can't find it, reset the home screen from Settings.

Lyssa - Thank you for your response. I thought that might be the case, but although there is a symbol in the upper right corner that reads "iPhone" the list of music is my entire iTunes list. You will need Mac OS 10.5.8 or later in order to get itunes 10.5 or later, in order to connect your iphone.

Restored Ipod Nano 1st gen. and nike + icons do not appear in itunes 7.0.2

I have a ipod nano 1st gen. I recently purchased the nike+ reciever and shoes and they worked great. I had not problems installing the latest version of ipod software version 1.3.
On my latest run I got soaked and the nike+ receiver stopped working after the rain. Waited a day until it dried out and reconnected it to my ipod and it did not recognized the receiver.
I reset my ipod and it still did not recognized the receiver.
I restored my ipod and it ereased the nike+ icons from my ipod and itunes. I updated my windows software and reinstalled itunes 7.0.2 in my computer and still the nike+ icons do not appear in my itunes and the updates indicate that I have the lastest version of the itunes and ipod software.
What else can I do to reinstall the nike+ software in my ipod and itunes?

my iphone4 device is not appearing in itune. i have uninstall and install twice, using latest version10.4
others thing working for iphone but device is not locating on itune. i have checked going in device manager
where its showing iphone device and working properly. its working with other system but here in my acer vista 32 laptop not working.

Reason I ask if you have pictures in your camera roll is because if you don't then there is nothing to transfer thus no reason for the iPhone to report out to Windows that it is a camera. Thus won't show up under My Computer as a camera/scanner and won't pop up the options of what to do.

When I plug my iphone 5s into my desktop computer, the iphone icon which you click on to to wnable you to synch your device with itunes does not appear. Its like being signed into itunes without a device connected.
If you look in the top left hand corner, this is where the icon should appear apparently, but as you can see, on my account it just isnt appearing! my usb cable is new from an Apple store and isnt faulty. The desktop computer is also new.

What happens if you go to iTunes > File > Devices, do you get the option to Sync iPhone?

IPod icon does not appear in iTunes - pls help!

Hi everyone,
My iPod mini has been working fine lately - as soon as I plug it into my PC, the iPod icon automatically comes up in iTunes and my songs are updated.
However, today, I plugged it my iPod and the icon doesn't come up at all, hence none of my songs are updated. The usual "Do not disconnect" does not appear on the iPod - instead, all it does is start charging. I have done nothing different from other occasions.
Does anyone know what's wrong with it, and how to fix it?
Your help is greatly appreciated, and thank you in advance!

Unistalling and reinstalling your iTunes should not cause you to lose your songs. The songs stored in the iTunes music folder remain unaffected.
However, if it makes you nervous to do this, see this.

I'm trying to get rid of some photo albums on my iPhone5, but they are not even listed in iTunes under sync/selected photos/albums, etc. I also cannot delete the albums from the iPhone directly. Any help?

The only way to get rid of the photos on your iPhone is to sync with an empty folder on your computer via iTunes: Connect your iPhone with your computer via the USB cable > Launch iTunes > click your iPhone > in Photos window, check Sync photos from > select an empty folder and click Apply to do the sync. That's it!

Hi, I have speakers correctly on my wifi network, working properly via Airplay with Ipad and ipod and other PC.
The PC I wish to use is on the same network, getting wifi etc but not showing the icon. It did briefly and then went away.
So, I am ssure the wifi is correctly set up so where's the Airplay?
I've read various postings but most seem to suggest checking the setup, but I can't help feeling this is a laptop issue. i tried disabling firewall also but no better.
I'd be most welcome for some suggestions please.
