IPhone iMovie trailer shared to iTunes can't find in iTunes on my Mac

Basically, the subject line says it all. I created a trailer on my iPhone in the iOS iMovie app. I selected share to iTunes. I can't find the trailer in my mac's iTunes. Trying it again has gotten me the message 'already shared to iTunes.'

I don't find a 'Video' section in the iTunes iOS app. Only 'Music, Movies, TV Shows, Audiobooks, Tones, Genius, Purchased, and Downloads'. My iPhone trailer I created does not seem to be in the 'Movies' section (those look like movies available to rent).
On the iMac, I have successfully shared 2 iMovies (from the full iMovie app on the iMac) into iTunes and those show up.
I just can't find where, if anywhere, my iPhone's iMovie app would be sending those movies or trailers that I've created and that the iOS app says have already been sent to iTunes.

What you want to do is hold down Shift as you double click on iTunes. It will then tell you that it needs your iTunes library file in order to continue. Browse to it and select it. Your music should all be there.

the My Music folder has special registry permissions, so the message you're getting is typically caused by the registry "losing track" of where the My Music folder is being housed.
since you've got it out on an external HD, it's plausible that that might have been caused by a drive letter shift on the PC. has the drive letter of the external changed since you moved the My Music folder out there?

I found the answer to my question.
When you attach a device (iPhone, iPad) to your Mac, in iTunes 12 in appears as a tiny icon in the second "row" of the iTunes display. Click the icon and the familiar iTunes display for the device appears. From there, on the Summary screen, you can see the dates of the backups of the device (iCloud and backup to the computer). You can also use the button to backup to the computer.

i just bought a new Iphone 5s, and decided to download Itunes and sync my Iphone with my laptop. Everyting went well until i decided to try out some things and i imported pictures via Itunes from laptop to Iphone. this is how i did it: Itunes - iphone - pictures - pictures synchronized from 'option choose map' - I chose another map - after, i 'ticked' box 'all maps'. Then i hit the button 'synchronize'. I forgot to look how the orignal map was called and this was the one Itunes syncronised autmatically with, that one also contaned all the original pictures on my Iphone. So, after putting some new photo's on my Iphone, i wanted to change the settings back to normal so my Itunes and Iphone could sync iphone pictures again. But I can't find the old map back or Itunes doesn't recognize the map. I already tried to use the map 'Ipod Photo Cache' but it shows only empty folders. I also tried computer - iphone - Internal storage or DCIM or 860OKMZO; No idea what that means but i thought that the last two folders can contain pictures. However, i get an error if select these ones a map in Itunes. How do I get back to the old settings again?

When i connected the iphone to my laptop, i found the location of the pictures on the iphone; the a map called '860OKMZO' (i've mentioned this map earlier, this folder is located inside the folder DCIM). But if i try to open it with Itunes, this error comes up: 'foldername is invalid'. Is your "home computer" the same as your laptop or are these two different machines?

iTunes 10.7 does indeed work on OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion. Do you mean you have Mac OS X 10.5.8 Leopard? If so, and you updated your iPhone 4S to iOS 6 on some other computer, then you may be out of luck synching to your 10.5.8 system, but you can get and try 10.6.3 here:

After 11.1.4, iTunes can't find my iPhone

I seem to have sorted it. Looks like it's to do with the updater, not iTunes itself. Uninstall iTunes and everything Apple related (Apple Mobile Device Support, Bonjour, etc). Reboot your machine!.. Go and get a new iTunes package http://apple.com/itunes and install it fresh.

If you are using a mac, you use iphoto.
If you are on windows, you use whatever camera software windows uses.
Itunes does not import photos.

Have you disabled it under restrictions?
