IPhone Indbox and .Mac not in Sync
Just did some house keeping on my iPhone inbox (moved messages and deleted some). When I logged onto my .Mac account through a browser, the mail I moved into folders has been moved, but they are still in my inbox as well. Why doesnt my inbox in .mac through a browser not reflect whats on the iphone inbox, I thought they were supposed to be in sync?
They are, you can check this when launching Mail.app on your desktop Mac. It's just a display issue on the webmail client.
Delete or move any message in or out of your inbox on the webclient, and the view will be correct.

Why are my ITunes playlists on my iPhone, iPad and Mac not the same?
I don't understand the ITunes. I have an Iphone, Ipad and new Mac Probook with Retina Display. When I add songs to ITunes my playlists do not synchronize. I have to manually delete the playlist on my Mac, create new ones, then synch with USB to each device. Isn't there an easier way to manage the playlists?
You can't drag and drop content onto smart playlists, only regular ones.

Music in iPhone 4 and iTunes not in sync. Have 2000 songs on iPhone that iTunes does not know about.
I have an iPhone 4. I recently moved to a new laptop. I have about 2000 songs stuck on my iPhone that iTunes does NOT recognize. I've tried several things. I've went back and forth between "manually manage music and videos." I've checked/unchecked Sync Music. I've checked/unchecked playlists, artists, etc. At this point, iTunes doesn't think I have any music on my iPhone EXCEPT for the Capacity. The Capacity seems to be right. At this point, without deleting every artist individually and manually, I'd like to delete the 2000 songs and start over. Any tips?
Updating is not suppose to wipe any media or apps.
It may happen because sometimes things just go wrong.

hi, l authorized my computer using iTunes and it said successful, but when l start syncing my applications l get this error: "The iPhone "My name" could not be synced because this computer is no longer authorized for purchased items that are on this phone".

My iPod touch has 2 Notes account: 'Gmail' and 'From my Mac'.
Now I know where my 'Gmail' notes are synced on my mac but I've no idea where my 'From My Mac' notes are synced on my mac.
Mine is a Mac Book Air using Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5.
Any ideas?Go step by step and check.

Select Macintosh HD and click “Sweep Selected Drive” at the bottom.
Be careful. Delete only the files that can be safely deleted. If you are not sure about any file, don’t touch it. -

In iphoto go to preferences > general and al the bottom will be a drop down menu that will say connecting camera opens: just change this from iphoto to no application

The Mac Pro - the desktop computer - does not support Airdrop, if that's what you mean.

Where are the notes from my iphone backup and how can I sync them with my new macbook and ipad. And my galaxy 3g if someone is feeling especially generous with their time and attention. Many thanks.
- The iTunes backup that iTunes makes included photos in the camera roll. If yo go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices what is the date of the backup? Is it when the photos were on the iPod? You have to restore from that backup.
- What may have happened is that you backup the iPod after you restored the iPod but before restoring from backup. iTunes only keeps one backup and overwrites the previous backup with the changes. -
Please help! I just sync my notes to icloud of my ipad mini but after that all notes has been covered by iphone's and all notes are missing from iPad,how could i restore it?
It's very possible that you did just as you suspect. One of the later Note file over wrote the one stored on your iPad when you synced.
When one does a sync of their iPad a backup of the iPad is created first. If that backup was still available you might be able to find the Note file there. But more than likely, if you are letting the iPad and iPhones sync on their own over Wi-Fi you have over written that back up as well. -

Try using icloud and that should solve your problem

Iphone songs and playlists not syncing to itunes library
I have bought songs on on my iphone. However, when I sync the phone to my computer, these songs are not transferred to my itunes library. I have worked out that I can right click to force it to transfer purchases. Is there some setting I can change to ensure that it does this automatically?
My playlists are also not syncing (even though the boxes are checked). I have altered them on my iphone but all of these changes are lost as soon as I sync it to the computer. How do I stop this?I thought I was doing something wrong as syncing iTunes with an iPhone was never a problem. However after upgrading to iTunes 11.0 on one of 5 Apple computers, we now are experincing the same problems as reported above. Playlists in iTunes 11.0 on an Apple iMac running OS 10.7.5 are not syncing over to an iPhone 4 running iOS 6.0.1.Even though specific playlist that have been checked to be transferred, they are not migrating over to the iPhone. We have not tried syncing to any of the iPods yet but I think the same issue may occur.
As to the work-around described above to create playlists on the iPhone, it is a viable option. But if you do this I would make sure to deselect music syncing because you may wipe your playlist on the phone until a patch is created to fix this issue as well as other reported bugs. (iTunes 11.0.1) -

I have just bought an iPhone 5 and it won't sync to iTunes. It says it needs iTunes 10.7, which I have downloaded and installed. I still get the error message and looking at "about iTunes" it says 10.6.3. What do I do??

i have itunee 11 and iphone 4 and i can't sync my apps to the iphone. it just stops on "determining apps to sync".please help
it is an itouch, i buy apps from the app store, they are purchased, they show up in my app section but when i try to sync them to my itouch they do not show up in on the itouch. i have tried to atuthorize and deauthorize the computer also few times, rebooted computer and still nothing. when i restore the firmware and have everything reinstall all over again the apps music and such, all show up. however if i buy a new app and try to sync it with the itouch it does not show up despite the fact that the computer states 'installing "......" whatever app. it happens with numerous apps, there is no rhyme and reason to why certain apps just do not show up on the itouch. the authorize/deauthorize deal does nothing to rectify the situtaion. any other ideas ?
