Iphone, Ipad, Apple TV Video in FCP 6 using Streamclip? SETTINGS?

I've seen a million posts on this but none of them are complete with the answer.
I have a screen recording that I made on my MAC saved as IPHONE, IPAD, APPLE TV setting. Maybe that was a mistake but there's no going back.
(I'm assuming that the proces is the same for iphone video too)
WHAT SETTINGS DO I USE IN MPEGSTREAMCLIP TO GET THIS INTO FCP 6?
WHAT SETTINGS TO I MATCH THE SEQUENCE WITH IN FCP?
I'VE INCLUDED THE PRO RES OPTIONS. BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT I'VE BEEN TRYING.

Your screen recording uses the H.264 codec. It doesn't work well at all in FCP.
Run it through MPEG Streamclip again and export to QuickTime using the ProRes LT codec.

Ingesting iPhone 4 720p HD video into FCP 7

Has anyone been able to successfully ingest any 720p HD video from an iPhone 4 into Final Cut Pro? If so, please describe the process you followed.

The movie is recorded in the iPhone with the H.264 codec which is a problem to edit with, so you must convert the file to an edit friendly format:
Connect iPhone 4 to computer.
Transfer movies to computer via iPhoto.
Once in iPhoto, select a movie and go to the menu File > Export. Choose Kind: Original and export to the desktop.
Open MPEG Streamclip (free conversion software from http://www.squared5.com/svideo/mpeg-streamclip-mac.html ).
Drag the movie into the MPEG Streamclip window.
In MPEG Streamclip, go to the menu File > Export to Quicktime -
Choose Apple ProRes 422 (LT) as the compression -
Quality 100% -
1280 x720 -
Deinterlace Video.
Then click Make Movie
Give the movie a new name and convert it.
Open FCP.
Import the converted movie.
Hope this helps.

IPhone iPad Apple ID

I have an iPhone and I just bought an iPad.
My iPad wants me to enter my Apple ID. If I do that, I will not be able to use Facetime on the two devices independently (I think). When I get a Facetime call, both devices will ring. But, I think if I get a second Apple ID, I may not be able to synchronize the devices and share the purchased apps.
How do I deal with this?

That's the entire point of the update. To prevent unauthorized activation of an iPhone. To discourage Theft.
If there was a way around it, it would defeat its purpose.
The only way to get past that is to contact the original owner and ask that they remove the lock with their Apple ID.

I cant seem to find a straight answer anywhere, some say this others that. I have 2 iphones 1 pad 1 apple tv 1imac all under 1 account. would like to get a second imac and want to know if I can keep everything under the same account. Do the phones pads and pods count towards your 5 count?

Iphone, ipad, apple tv not showing up in iTunes

I have 4 devices, iphone 4s, iphone 4, ipad2, and apple tv 1st gen. all were showing under devices in itunes. now none are. I remember a messege came up the last time they did show in itunes, that said, "could not sync device, unable to fine file". now no devices in itunes. what do I need to do?

I went ahead and tried reinstalling iTunes, but it did not help. I then tried resetting the AppleTV to factory settings. It has shown up in the Devices list again, but it immediately started "syncing" or so it said, but I'm not sure how thats possible since all of my data is stored in an external drive which was disconnected at the time because i had my laptop with my in front of the TV trying to get this all working. I must say, I'm not too impressed with the Apple TV so far. It does not yet seem to have the polish of most Apple products. Hopefully the new firmware will resolve a lot of these issues. I think I may have jumped the gun in canceling my cable service.

Converting HDV video to Quicktime using expert settings?

I use Imovie HD and have a Sony HDR HC1. I like to make short vid about 3-5mins long and post them on Youtube. As you know 100m is the max. I have tried to post over that, and it won't go.
Now when I share, I select CD-rom quality which make the movie about 30mb or so.
Question: Using the expert settings, how to I get the file to wind up at about 90-100mb for max Youtube rez??
My last attempt was using Mpeg4, (1920xsomething-widescreen) with the qualitiy setting at Least. Still came out at 175mb. Close, but I need to ne below a 100mb.
Any tips is greatly appreciated.

you should avoid both...
"my" settings are the final settings of youtube (aside the codec, which is a special kind of flv..)
so, you should add letterboxes to to your widescreens (afaik, youtube doesn't offer widescreen res)
and youtube delivers in 30/15fps.. .24 is .. an "uneven" factor ....

Play 24bit ALAC audio on iPhone / iPad

I have a lot of hi-res (24bit) ALAC audio files in my iTunes library. iTunes refuses to sync those with my iPhone / iPad. Is there anyway of using another program together with another app to sync and play those audio files on my iPhone ?

One additional question: I have one "master" library with my full music collection on it, and I use iTunes Match to keep this library updated will all purchases/additions from other devices. This library "sits" on an Mac Mini, and is connected via optical out to one high-end system, and I have another high-end system in another part of the house connected via optical to an AirPort Express.
Question 1: if I download FLAC files, convert to Apple Lossless and import to the iTunes library on my MacMini, I assume that this is what I will hear on the system connected directly to the MacMini. What about when I stream the same Apple Lossless file to my other system via AirPlay? Will it still work?
Question 2: How does iTunes Match deal with Apple Lossless files when I sync with my other devices (MacBook Pro Retina, iPad Retina, iPhone 4s)?

Captivate 6 HTML 5 won't publish on iPhone, iPad, and Android

I am having a problem with captivate 6 HTML publishing on iPhone, iPad, and Android.
We are using an external vendor to host our content, using SCORM for tracking. Our courses have been working for LMS output and now we wanted to also publish them for HTML5 to work on mobile devices/iPads.
When trying to view the output on both an iPhone with iOS 6 and an Android with 4.0.3, I get error messages about the course using flash, which of course the device does not support. I have published the course files in HTML 5 only and enabled e-learning output. The course also does not work on a local site (independent of the LMS).
I'm not sure what I could be doing wrong in the publishing process. The only thing that I am able to tell is that I don't see an HTML5 file when I publish - only a regular html file. I have attached a screenshot of the directory I get after publishing.
Any help is appreciated.

When it launches on the iphone, it looks as if it is zoomed in to one region of the screen. In other words, you can't see the entire course within the browser window on the screen. You have to pan to move to different areas of the screen. We tried publishing with scalable HTML checked, but that had no effect on the size.

Syncing iPhone/iPad to multiple iTunes libraries

I was wondering about about syncing my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 to two separate iTunes libraries. I have two accounts on my MacBook – one personal and one for work - and my iPhone/iPad are used for both. They are currently synced with my personal iTunes library, where I have all music and all apps. However, I would like to be able to set up another iTunes library on my work account with podcasts and routed calendar/contact information, and then be able to sync my iPhone/iPad to that library as well, so that that information is added to the data from my personal library.
In a nutshell, my iPhone/iPad have both personal and professional uses, and I would like to find a way to sync data from both of my iTunes libraries to these two devices. I searched around a bit and found instructions for tweaking the code in the iTunes files, but I wasn't entirely sure that that solution applied to my specific situation.
I'd be very grateful for any kind of help. Thanks very much!

Here are the steps for AirPlay:
Before starting Azul from your (running iOS 5.x/6.x) home screen where have have all your apps we need to turn on mirroring
On your iPhone 4S/5 or iPad 2 or 3, double-click the Home Button to view your recently-used apps.
Swipe all the way to the right to until you see the icon.
Note: If the icon does not appear, go to the "If AirPlay Mirroring is not visible or available on your mobile iOS device" section.
Tap the icon to see the list of available AirPlay devices.
Enable AirPlay Mirroring in this menu by tapping on an available Apple TV, then sliding the Mirroring slider to ON.
Now you should be seeing your iPad/iPhone on your TV.
Start up Azul now and using the settings icon on the top right corner go to the option that say "TV out" ON.
When you do that you will see an Orange screen
Now click "Done" and play the video you want to watch and it will AirPlay

You will all need to be on the same itunes account ID.
You can however all have seperate icloud accounts aswel.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with the other ID. When you delete the account it will prompt you about what to do with the iCloud data. If you need to migrate it and merge it with the data in the new account choose Keep on My iDevice; then choose Merge to upload the data and merge it with the new account. If your data is already in the other account and you don't need to migrate it to the other account, choose Delete from My iDevice.
