IPhone/iPod Touch App with graphical week view?

I have seen a lot of calendar apps with list week views like Pocket Informant.
http://www.pocketinformant.com/productsinfo.php?p_id=pocketinformantiphone
I'm looking for a calendar app with a graphical week view (with colored bars as opposed to lists).
The only example I have found is Daylite Touch which apparently has an annual subscription for the program.

Is there anything out there with such a week view (for under $20)?

  • Any calendar app with landscape week view?

Before I waste more hours searching, I thought I'd ask here:
Is there ANY basically reliable stand-alone calendar app for the Touch that will do a landscape-oriented week-view?
Or any clue that in the next six months someone at Apple will sit down for a couple of hours, figure out how to make the native calendar program do this, and issue an update?
I don't necessarily need it to sync to anything, since I'm used to using a paper planner. I'm not going to buy a program for my desktop just to get the Touch calendar.
I teach college and do a lot of random meetings and appointments with people on the fly, in the "can we meet in the next few days" genre. On paper, I'm scanning my Week View all the time, and I'm just flabbergasted that that's the one thing I can't get the iPod software to do for me.
The list-based portrait weekly view in something like PI-Lite will just barely suffice.
    Any suggestions?

  • Iphone & Ipod Touch App for NMH series. .Where is it?

Hi there, The NMH405 is new in my house and after taking an entire weekend to load my media on to it (it took forever!) I read on the features list this: There's even a free application for your iPhone or iPod Touch, so you can enjoy your media from your mobile device.
    But where is it? Cheers

    Just because i like calling India . I decided to call them on this.{ But you don't have to be at home to enjoy your digital media.  With the Cisco Remote Access Service1, there are no confusing network addresses to remember.  Log onto your Media Hub with a web browser using your chosen personalized "name" (i.e., "Smith-Media"), and you can enjoy your media through the Internet.  You get the same easy-to-use attractive catalog view, and can listen to your music, view your pictures, or watch your videos, from anywhere.  There's even a free application for your iPhone or iPod Touch, so you can enjoy your media from your mobile device.}
Right off there product page. I got no where . he didnt know about anyother software for the hub othere then what comes with it. I checked iTunes ans cisco has a few apps but nothing for what we are looking for. i got a case number out of this maybe if enough of us bug the crap out of them we might get a real answer. I am guessing its in development or it never worked with out flash support for the itouch and Iphone. Now we need adobe to get that finished.....

  • Iphone/ipod touch apps won't load on ipod touch

I have tried to download apps that indicate that they can be used on iphone or ipod touch with 2.2. My ipod touch is updated but the apps won't load. Any ideas?

i also have the same problem, i came across this topic hoping to find an answer. luckily i had just solved my problem. this happened to me twice... i resolved the first problem by restoring to factory setting which is not a good solution cause all my FREE downloaded apps were erased too. so i have to download again.... lately it happened again.. same problem.. but i have resolved it by updating my ups in app store... HOPE this wont happen again.... cause its really bothersome since there arent so many wifi spots here... programs i had are mostly free so maybe its one reason for this problem.... the last app i used b4 the problem was a pdf viewing app... hope this helps...

  • Is there any way to get "voice memo" (the iPhone/ipod touch app) onto our new iPad 3?

I know there are apps in the app store that will have similar functionality, but I want Apple's original "Voice Memo" app for it's reliability, automatic syncing with iTunes on our other devices, ability to trim easily, and the overall interface.  I'd be willing to pay a purchase price, but I don't see any way of obtaining it... I'm a bit irritated as I thought this would have come standard as it did on my old iPod Touch. (I see it's still standard on iPhone and iPod Touch, too!)

No Voice Memos app by Apple on the iPad. I downloaded one from the App Store from another developer that is nearly identical.

  • IPhone/iPod Touch App for opening password-protected Word .doc?

Can anyone recommend an app that will let me open a password-protected .doc on my iPod Touch. It's hard to tell from the app info on search if a particular app might handle this need. THanks!

No, unless there is a third party viewed which can handle the passwords. The in-built viewer is a simple viewer and doesn't support password protected documents at all.
Have a search through the Appshopper website to see if there is something better.

  • Why can't I share my iPod touch app with my new IPadmini

Just got a new IPad mini but cannot share a purchased game from IPad touch to IPad mini?

What happens when you try to redownload them directly to the iPod by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

  • Transfer iPod Touch Apps with new main hard drive on Windows PC

Replacing main hard drive, which hosted iTunes account.
For songs, I have already saved to 4 DVD's.
For iTunes, a new main hard drive will look like a new PC, I'd think. Should I de-authorize my account on the current PC/drive before installing new hard drive? Then download iTunes and set up under previous email & PW?
    Other content?
For photos and MS Outlook contacts, I can re-link to restored data.
How about downloaded and purchased Apps? Will they survive on the Touch or need I take further action on the PC?
    Thanks!

Make sure your new computer is authorized in iTunes. Disable autosync in itunes, connect your ipod, right click on it in the device list and choose backup.
This will save data, pictures and settings to itunes. See what's included in this backup here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766
Transfer your purchases the same way to copy all apps and bought media from the Store to your computer.
Set up at least one contact and event on your computer to be able the merge your calendars and contacts after your ipod got wiped during the first sync.
The rest of the data can be restored from the backup you made.

  • Do any iPod Touch apps work on the iPad?

I have an iPod Touch and am getting an iPad soon and was wondering if any of the apps I have purchased for my iPod touch will work on the iPad.
I have some specific ones in mind if the answer is "it depends." I will post them out if that's the case. Thanks in advance for your help!
    Sproles

Virtually all current iPhone/iPod touch apps work. However, they're not going to take advantage of the larger screen or any new-to-iPad features. By default, they run in a centered rectangle that's iPod touch-sized. You can pixel-double that to fill the screen, though you may see the "fat pixels" (they're there, but more noticeable in some settings than others - graphics, rough-edged letters, etc.)

  • I am travelling for a year. I have my iPod touch 4g with me, but not my MacBook. Is there a way I can update to IOS 5 without losing my music, apps, photos..

I am travelling for a year. I have my iPod touch 4g with me, but not my MacBook. Is there a way I can update to IOS 5 without losing my music, apps, photos..

Yes. get a computer with iTune 10.5 and:
    - Transfer iTunes purchases to the computer:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer
    - Transfer other stuff using a third-party program like one of those discussed here.  Most are good for music.  It is harder to find one for other stuff like synced photos.
Copy music from Ipod to new computer...: Apple Support Communities
    - Connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup by right-clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and selecting Back Up
    - Restore the iPod from backup and sync as neccessary.

  • Ipod touch apps to iPhone

    Hi all,
I'm seriously contemplating the purchase of an iPhone. Currently I have an iPod Touch. Question: Is it possible to transfer the apps on my iPod that I've already purchased, to the new iPhone? I'd really rather not have to repurchase all my apps again.
Also, I've read in another post where a user could use the iPhone AS an iPod touch until her current, non-ATT contract ran out. I would like to do that, as well. Could I use it as an iPod Touch /wifi type deal and just leave the phone side dormant until my old contract runs out?
    Thanks!

I figure if I could at least use iPhone as an iPod WITHOUT the iPhone, I could see if I liked it or not--to warrant the extra $$ monthly
The extras you will get on the phone compared to the ipod touch are (with the 3G at this time) Camera, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G and apps using these features. And of cause a phone
To use the iphone without the phone part, just as an ipod, you'll have to have your dataplan to use the extra features.

  • Apple Unveils All-New iTunes U App for iPad, iPhone & iPod touch

A colleague just told me about this announcement from Apple -
Apple Unveils All-New iTunes U App for iPad, iPhone & iPod touch -
    http://www.apple.com/pr/library/2012/01/19Apple-Unveils-All-New-iTunes-U-App-for -iPad-iPhone-iPod-touch.html
Do any fellow iTunes U administrators know anything about this? How is existing content presented in the new app? Would we need to change anything? How do we access / make available the new features?
The new features sound fantastic but it would have been nice to have some warning. I appreciate that Apple has to keep specific details about developments confidential but it's slightly disconcerting that iTunes U administrators were not forewarned about this new development and that there has been no mention of it on this forum. Also - and at the risk of sounding like a broken record - it really would be helpful for iTunes U administrators to have a private forum (perhaps an add-on to Public Site Manager) where we could discuss issues and share ideas and best practice etc.

    Greetings Tom;
I watched the Apple's Keynote presentation and I'm amazed!  I'm really excited about the possibilities this opens up for educators.  I, like you am still processing all of the information and sorting out the possibilities.
Did you get the email about the Webcast on Wednesday the 25th at 10:00 AM PT that's going to cover the new iTunes U Corse Manager and how to publish through iTunes U Site Manager?  Hopefully this is available to you in the UK.  We'll keep in touch.  All the best...

  • I bought a iPod touch 5 with iOS 6 I tried to set up a account and it states all free trials were used.  How do I get rid of all those accounts. Also I just recently tried to download an App Store and it told me my apple user I'd was disabled, what do I d

I bough a iPod touch 5 with iOS 6.1.1. I bought it from a friend. When I tried to open a account with iCloud it says that all user Ids have been used. So now I'm unable to sign up for iCloud.  Also vI just tried to download a. App from the App Store, and when I put in my password it says that my apple user I'd is disabled. Please help.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Unfortunately once all the 3 iCloud accounts have been created on your device, you cannot create any more regardless of what you do. You will need to re-use one of the accounts that you have already created or create your new account on another device or computer.
